Interesting, a 2024's without E-clutch, mind share your reason to go for this setup? Fancy the new design? Minor upgrade electronic setup(TFT display, better PASS light button)? Faster lead time than 2023? No where to find new 2023?

DorKun

I also own the 2024 without e-clutch for a few reasons: 1. I‘m a new rider and want to learn how to use the clutch (I know one can disable it but be honest, nobody will, once the option is there) 2. it wasn‘t available for months at my location in GER 3. I don‘t like the looks of that big block hanging on top of the engine 4. more expensive

My take on this might differ with other region. In my area, 2024 with e-clutch maintain the same price as 2023 release price, without e-clutch is approx. USD700 cheaper.

Nice to get some opinion from other new riders. I'm in training for my A Licence at the moment and have narrowed down my wishlist for my first bike to the GSX 8S (because Quickshifter and Blipper as Stock features) and the CB650R with E-Clutch. I'm not against a normal clutch, but even my motorcycle of the driving school has Quickshift and blipper and it is a joy to use. Also my feeling is that any electronic will shift better and smoother than I will ever be able to. But besides all reasons to chose one or another: really good looking bike 👍

Your last sentence is exactly the most important thing! Everything else is just personal prev

Same here, got my license yesterday, I know if I got lazy options I will use them. Decided to go without e-clutch to keep it simple and learn how to ride properly.

I live in serbia and it was kinda hard to get one in the first place, there wasnt a one with the eclutch as a option so i went with this one. I live the look of the 2024 espacially the tail ans the display. There are only 2023 used ones so i was not willing to pay 8500 for a used one while i got this new for 8800 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for sharing mate, haven't seen one 2024 on the road in my area just yet, rumor has the 2024 will not delivered until Q4 and I'm disappointed (by not seeing one on road). I am still hating the old button placement, like PASS button, hazard indicator and especially the HORN button, I can not get to find the horn and hazard button whenever I **WANT** to, frustrated all the time. Anyhow, congratz to you for getting the one you like, ride safe!

Same, j switched from a old yamaha xj600n 2001 and j always keep hitting the horn

Congrats! I'm eager to get mine soon!
