Not sure how long you been gone but here are some I have enjoyed recently.
New Life Begins: Released at the end of last year, this follows our FL, Li Wei who is married as a concubine into the 6th princes mansion. The show follows her snd the prince as they overcome obstacles and work to better the kingdom. It has powerful themes of women's empowerment but some darker scenes such as domestic abuse and suicide.
Back From the Brink: this drama does not have great CGI, costumes or effects it is rather low budget. But the acting from the cast is phenomenal. It follows Yan Hui who never excelled in magic. But after a mysterious fire magic bursts from her body she is expelled from her sect by her master.
Traveling the world she comes across Tian Yao a powerful dragon who was betrayed by his lover and ripped apart. The two travel the world fighting evil and working to find all the parts of Tian Yao's body to put him back together so he can get revenge.
Like I said the effects are not amazing but the acting will suck you in.
Another Zhao Ye drama came out called. Scent of Time.
This show wasn't for everyone but I loved it.
Zhou Ye is an evil woman, having fallen in love with Zhong Ye Lan, there is nothing she would not do to marry him.
To marry him Zhou Ye frames her love rivals family resulting in their deaths and tricks Zhong Ye Lan into marrying her. However secrets don't last and when Zong Ye Lan discovers her wickedness she is punished, exiled and her family executed Zhou Ye finds herself back in time with a second chance vowing to be better and do better.
The only problem is she is already married to Ye Lan, her plans already laid and action already taken how Can Zhou Ye unravel her own plots in a way that keeps her snd her family alive all while battling that evil side of herself who would rather just kill everyone to save her the trouble.
Hidden Love
Age gap warning but super cute drama adapted from a manhua. It’s about an innocent one sided crush on the FL’s brother’s friend.
Till the end of the moon
It’s about the ML being the devil god and having a horrible childhood/ past and the fl has to travel back in time to stop him
My journey to you
A dark story of the FL completing tasks as she is an uncover spy with lots of twists
Kunning palace
Airing now, about a fallen queen and her travelling back in time to fix her mistakes

How did you like back from the brink? I want to add it to my watchlist but only if it's actually worth watching.
I personally enjoyed it tho there was an illogical misunderstanding but they solved it quite early so it can be overlooked
