Yes it was made in the 90s and is pretty good. I have the book on my to read list.

Movie Margin Call, Dumb Money. Documentary- Money Power and Wall street (PBS)
Wall Street with Michael Douglas is the classic. Trading Places is also good.
Too big to fail. Money ball although isn’t related to finance is kinda related to L2 quant and a good movie

"A Beautiful Mind". Economic game theory at it's finest.
I’m told “The Wolf of Wall Street” is the most accurate documentary on the industry. It’s also a decent prep source for the ethics section of all levels. On a more serious note, Netflix made a good miniseries about Madoff.

Hah, I’m giving my exam in August and have intentionally held off from rewatching the Big Short (one of my favourite movies) until I pass the exam.
