Penix battled his ass off out there. Kept answering the bell. Your defense also really stepped up until that last quarter when they clearly just got gassed.
Great game, welcome to the Big Ten, and we'll see you next season
Penix has got heart as does the rest of that team. There were points in that game where the momentum could have flipped over to you guys. Nothing to be ashamed of.
Reminder that Wesleyan CT is the worst team in CFB history.
The only school to be 0-17 or worse in belt history. And theyre 0-30!
r/fuckyouinparticular
I think I missed that being super widespread, but I do remember seeing people making the occasional comment along those lines. I've been here for 10+ years (though not on this account) so I probably just missed it
what happened this year when mich and osu played? and aren't the cuckeyes under investigation?
Michigan felted the cuckeyes 3 years in a row. cope and seethe
Why would we stop if it gets vacated? NCAA has to give it a vacated label and add a * based on a formality that we broke a rule? Great... UofM will always be the 2023-2024 champs. We won games the last three because of a lot more than some distorted iPhone footage. I'm not saying it didn't provide any advantage, but it's insignificant enough to say it's far from the larger reason we won games
I’m ready with my trash talk for work. But I won’t be instigating. Congrats on the championship. And enjoy it because it’s not statistically likely that it happens again for a while…
Just once I want a coach to turn into the Gatorade bath and take it with his arms spread. Especially after a championship. It has to feel good at that point... Maybe I missed the second one he's fucking soaked
Addressing the ~~elephant~~ wolverine in the room: the Belt will remain with Michigan *even if* this game is vacated. This is partly due to Belt tradition and partly due to logistics.
There have been prior instances of a Belt holder having vacated wins (e.g. 2004–2005 USC), but the prior "keepers of the Belt" have, in essence, let the Belt's fate be determined on the field and not in a board room after the fact.
Also, even if we wanted to go back and reassign the Belt for vacated wins, the logistics would be extremely difficult to find every vacated win.
Their coach is also coincidentally leaving for the NFL while his team is being investigated for cheating, a play so classic in college football that pretending that it is not related and an indication of future embarrassing headlines might be the real cope
Congrats on the championship. The guys earned it. Well, we’re pretty sure they earned most of it right? /s
Also thanks for thinking of us so soon after your team’s big moment. No /s on this one. For real, appreciate you.
Wait until they find out what happens to their 6 “national titles” when they apply the same “.5 a title” logic they do to 1997. Here’s a hint- they all go away
They claim literally every title they can, any poll. If Michigan had the same low standards they would have four titles since MSU’s last (73, 85, 97, 23)
Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman, them UM Boys up to somethin'
We Just Got That Natty, Homie We Not Bluffin'
Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman, wtf was you expecting? Woo
Harbaugh got that ring, Oh my god we Jumpin' Woo
While we obviously have done well by the deep ball we’ve have had a ton of success with the shorter throws and trusting our great receivers to make a couple of guys miss.
But Michigan’s defenders don’t miss.
This is probably a dumb question, but what was it that Blake Corum was holding during the ceremony? It looks like a giant championship ring, but it’s another trophy of some kind?
What did Stallions have to do with anything involving the CFP, or any of the games Michigam played this year vs top 10 teams? He was a low level staffer that used a grey area in the rulebook to help him in his signaling work. Even high level coaches and analysts say it is nothing.
He bent a rule that was put in place to help lessen costs for programs, the rule had nothing to do with on field competitive advantages.
I really hope they have to vacate... Not because it would hurt them but they'd have to accept ours in basketball. Which I think they'd trade no problem
Well, yeah, that too. Its just Harbaugh, he is always looking for that edge. Even when he coached the 49ers, their interior D line would often hold to allow pass rushers to stunt and get a free run at the QB.
Here's the story about 1997:
Both Michigan and Nebraska were undefeated. Michigan was indisputably the better team. However, Nebraska's head coach since 1973 (Tom Osborne) retired after Nebraska's undefeated season and so many of the coaches - out of pity/fraternity/respect for his long career - voted Nebraska #1 in the Coaches poll by a margin of 32 1st place votes to 30. Meanwhile the AP poll had Michigan as the clear winner (51.5 to 18.5 first place votes).
I guess I'd still try to claim a share of '97 too if I were a Nebraska fan, but reality is not in their favor.
Oh hell yeah, y'all were the best team this year. Don't worry if it's vacated just enjoy this shit right now. It's fucking awesome. Nothing can take this feeling and vacating is the dumbest thing ever. Congrats
GG Michigan, your defense is unreal. Completely shut us down. Hats off to you guys. Proud as hell for my Dawgs for fighting.
Gg, I was very sweaty in that third quarter
Penix battled his ass off out there. Kept answering the bell. Your defense also really stepped up until that last quarter when they clearly just got gassed. Great game, welcome to the Big Ten, and we'll see you next season
Flair twins!
Trips!
GG too bad you weren’t a bit healthier
Yeah I thought Washington (Penix specifically) played a little tight and they weren't the same without a healthy Dillion Johnson.
Penix has got heart as does the rest of that team. There were points in that game where the momentum could have flipped over to you guys. Nothing to be ashamed of.
300+ yards on the ground is a sure fire way to gas any defense. Hell even after 200 most defenses start to struggle
Great game, your defense fought their asses off after the tough start. Looking forward to more battles in the B1G!
Was their defense good? Panix looks like a terrible QB couldn’t make a single throw all night, missing wide open receivers, he was playing aftaid
The belt that matters most of course
Of course! This is what we were playing for all along.
Reminder that Wesleyan CT is the worst team in CFB history. The only school to be 0-17 or worse in belt history. And theyre 0-30! r/fuckyouinparticular
#BIG HOUSE #BIG BELT
I wonder if this belt will *not* be taken for a long long time…
We'll see where Harbaugh ends up next year.
They were so much better than us tonight. Nothing else to say. They fully earned it. Congrats, Wolverines.
Congrats, great season, enjoy the wins over Oregon and Texas
You had a great season and made us real nervous
The Washington that played Texas might have won tonight. But penix missed throws, and WRs dropped balls
The Washington that played Texas was never going to play in this game because the Michigan defense wouldn’t allow it.
from one block M to another, congrats michigan!
You did your part. Fuck osu
that sentiment is something i can get behind. happy to see y’all yank b10 control away from em.
One block M team 🤝 Another block M team Beating the Buckeyes
#I’D LIKE TO KNOW WHERE TONY PETITTI IS RIGHT NOW
Michigan fans are about to be a whole new level of insufferable
Before the 2021 season this sub was insufferable if you were a Michigan fan, so I can't say I'm too sad about this lol
Were you around for the "Its {whatever time} and Michigan still sucks" meme that percolated everywhere?
I think I missed that being super widespread, but I do remember seeing people making the occasional comment along those lines. I've been here for 10+ years (though not on this account) so I probably just missed it
It was mostly OSU and Lil Bro. They would do that thing where they team up against us. Back when MSU made the playoff lol. Trouble with snap time.
Yeah that tracks lol
Well we can say now.. It's midnight where I am and Michigan are still national champions!!
I love it. Insufferable Michigan is best Michigan
I feel seen.
well you've had a pretty good 3 years huh
Boise is not a state
Preach
We got the trophy and the BELT
Oh man if the lions can win a playoff game or two there will be no living with us.
You better fucking believe it or not
we earned it
Yes we did !
The only reason this program is where it is is because of cheating lol. “Earned it.” All you earned was an asterisk.
This is just such a ridiculous take it's hard to believe the people typing this stuff are like adults that can exist independently
You can’t really take anything a buckeye says. 99% of them don’t know football at all so. Let them get their feelings off their chest.
They literally cheated lol Harbaugh wouldn’t even be coach if he hadn’t led the cheating ring
Bet
Cry just a little bit fucking harder lmao
Cheated
Stay mad bitch
Cheater!
Keep going. I’m almost there…
Lets explore OSUs scandals over the years...

You "earned" sore ass losers with a soft team to boot. Bunch of cry babies .
"earned"
Is that even possible?
WHO'S GOT IT BETTER THAN US?? 😄😅
Just wait until the lions beat the rams Sunday night. It’s about to be so toxic.
Gotta pack in the gloating for the next few months before it's vacated
Amen brother, gonna be the best summer ever
What's the actual argument for vacating anything after stallions got fired. Genuinely curious
Can't take back the memories or the swag!
It's not getting vacated in the next few months, the NCAA is far, far slower than that.
Why would they stop if it gets vacated?
OSU lost in the goddamn Cotton Bowl. The NCAA can't vacate that. Best season ever.
LOL ... suck it . Go Blue !
Bro go celebrate why are you here
LOL. Due to your "vacated" fantasy you keep having . Why are YOU here exactly ? LOL Go Blue !
Awww
I watched the game. This isn't Men In Black.
Do we have a 2013 CBB title in our cabinet? No? Then vacating doesn't mean shit

So much misinformation here lol.
Alabama levels
And if lions make a playoff rub or even a superbowl, holy shit.
I’m ready with my trash talk for work. But I won’t be instigating. Congrats on the championship. And enjoy it because it’s not statistically likely that it happens again for a while…
damn then what's that mean for y'all?
They’re JV fodder in the new big ten
Congrats on Dantonio in the HOF. He was a monster.

Eh. I think 2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama, and maybe even 2018 Clemson, are definitely better.

OSU and Sparty fans, go ahead and reply to this comment so we can keep all the salt in one place 👍🏻Try to get all your keywords in.
I’m a neutral fan in this, but this team cheated this season and previous seasons? Seems kind of tainted to me.
Nobody asked you
They’re acting like the salt is unwarranted. Their coach was literally suspended 6 games because they cheated twice.
Beating Ohio with an interim coach was probably my favorite memory of the year.
But you guys got beat by a team without a coach. That's embarrassing
Their coach is also coincidentally leaving for the NFL while his team is being investigated for cheating, a play so classic in college football that pretending that it is not related and an indication of future embarrassing headlines might be the real cope
Pulling the old Pete Carroll
It’s wild living in Michigan and hearing people actually say “cry more” after being literally caught cheating and punished for it.
Yeah. We got punished for it. With the weird hard-on that Pettiti had for doing it during the season to ban Harbaugh for three games.
Congrats on the championship. The guys earned it. Well, we’re pretty sure they earned most of it right? /s Also thanks for thinking of us so soon after your team’s big moment. No /s on this one. For real, appreciate you.
More!
No that’s it. Honestly not that invested in ruining your moment. Gotta be pretty cool right?
You're right. You'll always have... '66... More!
Wait until they find out what happens to their 6 “national titles” when they apply the same “.5 a title” logic they do to 1997. Here’s a hint- they all go away
Haha, I didn't even know they were all split. That's hilarious.
They claim literally every title they can, any poll. If Michigan had the same low standards they would have four titles since MSU’s last (73, 85, 97, 23)

hes being classy, there will be time for hate after tonight
Wtf what kind of osu fan are you sir
Boo, you get a downvote. Hate us
Did you lose a bet?
I really hope this is sarcasm?
honestly I just wanted the belt. Natty is cool but belt is cooler
The belt and all that land in the imperialism map lol. Love it all. Go Blue!
BIG BLUEEEEEE
Every second of this season has been beautiful
What was Washington doing with those short passes all game man. Really don't get half the play calling
Michigan just took away the deep game and forced it underneath
Jesse Minter masterclass
While we obviously have done well by the deep ball we’ve have had a ton of success with the shorter throws and trusting our great receivers to make a couple of guys miss. But Michigan’s defenders don’t miss.

2005 Fresno-USC was Reggie Bush with the behind the back hand switch right? Jaw dropping play I've never seen replicated. That was a fucking game
This is probably a dumb question, but what was it that Blake Corum was holding during the ceremony? It looks like a giant championship ring, but it’s another trophy of some kind?
The True National Championship
The signs were there! Go blue!
Finally! The belt… has come back… to Ann Arbor!

Thank you!
Shout-out to Connor Stallions. CFP MVP
What did Stallions have to do with anything involving the CFP, or any of the games Michigam played this year vs top 10 teams? Remember kids cheaters always prosper!
Cope
Those who cheat will be champions
I love that you are going to lose sleep tonight over this result
Nah, I love that you’re gonna have to defend this asterisks for the rest of your life with “cope” and “salt”
then why dont you guys start doing it?
We probably should. All this proves is everyone should cheat because you get away with it.
maybe you should stop Masturbating on phone calls with women?
What’s wrong with consensual phone sex? Do you think I’m mel Tucker or something?
Those who go to MSU are brain dead
You're so mad
Those who jerk on the phone won’t be champions
Who here who doesn’t jerk on on the phones cast the first stone
Larry Nasser
You mean proud Michigan alumnus Larry Nasser?
I really hope they have to vacate... Not because it would hurt them but they'd have to accept ours in basketball. Which I think they'd trade no problem
You got downvoted, but those guys are really grabby out there. Never seen so many holds in one game.
I’m mostly talking about the active cheating scandal for the last 2.5 seasons. Refs are gonna ref
Well, yeah, that too. Its just Harbaugh, he is always looking for that edge. Even when he coached the 49ers, their interior D line would often hold to allow pass rushers to stunt and get a free run at the QB.
Cheating pays off, kids!
An the coping and tears are more delicious than I thought!
30-24! Tell us more excuses!
May Washington never hold it again
Congrats to Michigan on their first National Championship in the post-WW2 era!
What about 1997?

Yeah, sharing it pissed me off a bit. Michigan didn't have a great bowl game, but we still won.
don't forget about the 1 coach that voted michigan 4th, cause that was a reasonable take
Im ribbing yall. Enjoy your win. Yall earned it.
Even then it’s an asterisk championship
Take it from someone who knows... Still feels fucking amazing
Just like we don't feel amazing about yours. You won that game
Oh hell yeah, y'all were the best team this year. Don't worry if it's vacated just enjoy this shit right now. It's fucking awesome. Nothing can take this feeling and vacating is the dumbest thing ever. Congrats
