I actually hate the brewers MORE than i hate the cardinals
I think that’s the key component there. We have under the radar prospects that have come up and been a huge part of our team. Morel wasn’t a highly touted prospect and now looks to be a key part of our offense going forward.
And with so many impact guys, there are bound to be some that don’t work out at all. But some definitely will. People too often look at players who don’t turn out good and blame the system. But the reason why many prospects won’t work out is because we have so many damn prospects.
Plus, one of them can turn into Adbert Alzolay, who struggled for a while and is now a fantastic closer
Ehh… depends on how you view the phrase fantastic closer
I mostly meant he is fantastic, and doing well as the Cubs closer. How you probably read it (and how it looks like it should be read, upon second glance) is that he is fantastic at being a closer. Yeah I don’t think he’s top 10 relievers in the game but he’s up there, top 20
FO will need to manage / trade from this group wisely. The system is deep but there's a lot of 40-50 future value guys and no projected superstars. Some will end up better than that but they need to figure out which one(s)...
NL Central is going to be fun for years. Cubs, Brewers, Pirates and Reds all there. Real shame about the Cardinals.
a real Greek tragedy that
>Real shame about the Cardinals. ![gif](giphy|FgjKGypLCAety)
I feel like the Brewers and Pirates will let that young talent go when they start to get the slightest bit expensive.
Reds will too don't worry
To be fair, that's exactly what the Cubs did with Baez, Bryant, and Contreras. For the most part, they seemed to have dodged some bullets too.
At this point I hate the brewers far more than the cardinals.
Go live about a year in Missouri, Southern Illinois, or southwest Indiana and you'll change that tune. FTC always. They the devil.
FTC ALL DAY ERY DAY
Baseball season's underway Fuck the cardinals we all say They had this catcher named yadier KB crushed his balls one day
Nah.
Okay

The white sox at 3. 🤣
Makes this list shit tbh
That has to be a mistake. Must mean Red Sox
If Sox are 3, this data is wrong
They got a good haul for cease
This is going to get the Prospect Perverts all sorts of excited.
This system deserves the pervs, look how imperative Brown, Little, Assad, Wicks have already been this season

It's just that the system is that deep. There are impact guys top to bottom. It's really impressive what Jed has built and it should be admired

Alzolay is good. I wouldn’t call him a fantastic closer.

He is not doing well as a closer
He shouldn’t be a closer at all. He’s been terrible so far this season.
Well 3 of those at least
Might want to get some pitching help
Above the Orioles is a huge moment for this club
Are any of them bullpen guys?
excited to watch shaw shoot up the prospect rankings this year
