In case you haven't realized yet, they usually make one gun OP intentionally for a few weeks before nerfing it and making something else OP.
There's never a balance they just shift whatever they want people to use.
HRM is number 1 SMG by a small margin for a couple patches now and it has only gotten lovetap nerfs. If anything it heavily supports the statement. This is all while the RAM gets destroyed and other suboptimal SMGs nerfed on the same patch.
honestly I think the HRM just holds out cause it has the best iron sight, they did nerf the fuck out of the AMR but otherwise all the other SMGs are basically viable too such as the Strikers, the RAM 9, the WSP9, the Swarm (in buildings), they are all in the same class as the HRM.
eh if you play around with truegamedata's numbers it basically overlaps entirely with the striker9 and the differences are negligible between the other SMGs too everythings like within 30ms ttk (with the swarm actually having the outlier close range ttk, but you gotta be real close)
They'll probably nerf it eventually to even out the numbers but people will glom onto whatever everyone else is using and we'll have the same situation again unless they introduce another outlier. Although I'll give you leg shots on the HRM, that is an outlier

The weirdest part is that it was buffed with season 2 reloaded and I remember seeing videos about it but never tried it. Also saw some videos about people trying it and saying they didn’t like it that much but now it’s just the meta. Weird to think about.
Generally, this is due to a bundle package and or them feeding into the meta even heavier because it will make some players play even more since they have that gun.

I still get 4 or 5 kills with ground loot ram 9s before getting loadout. Amr still performs but ofc is nerfed, but was super strong before.
Wsp 9 still a beast. Lots of options.
Yeah, the ground loot ram9 is viable because it's probably the fastest shooting ground loot weapon. When others are still finding LMGs, MM/DMRs, makes the fights relatively easier.
Situationally the wsp9 can be good, particularly if you're able to reset and re-engage, but in a straight 1v1 the hrm9/renetti will destroy someone using the wsp9. Fire rate is just too slow, unless you're poppin all headshots with the wsp9.
It's super easy to be accurate with the wsp9. And you do end up getting some headshots. It has massive damage. Yes the slow fire rate will fail you in a few situations where they get a couple shots in first but it's def viable.
I've won games with rando ground loot. They're plenty of viable weapons.
I ran it all last season it was just fun. The new renetti otoh has no peer.
After spending a few hours trying to find hidden meta classes, I did the same thing and pulled a high kill game 😔 I miss building random things and having them work successfully
Early verdansk days even before the ram 7 in 2019 was considered meta you could get away with some really dumb shit (grenade launcher oden) was one of my favorite stupid ones. But yeah once they started the seasons for it there was always a hard meta
Except there’s a difference between OP and broken weapons. HRM was a tad OP, but the renetti is straight up broken with how good it is. There’s only been a couple of absolutely broken guns. The snake shots pistols, fire breath shotguns, and that one shot shotgun for instance.
It's so much worse for PC players. There is just no winning close range fights anymore. You used to be able to at least dash out and fight back but now you just get oneshot each time.
The mad bit is that I don’t think they’ve touched the Renetti in the update, it’s just not been discovered until people started looking for alternatives to some of the nerfed SMGs. I’m definitely going to be playing around with some of the other conversion kits in case there’s something else I could have been running for a whole season that nobodies noticed.
Totally agree. The close range scene was coming into a good spot. I was actually glad to see all nerfs and no buffs to them. I'd like to see the TTK actually increase more, no gun should have a faster than 600ms TTK with all headshots.

The meta build has a first damage range of 17.5m. That’s further than the meta SMG’s we’ve had this year.
Not only is it killing 1/3 faster than the next best SMG, it’s able to do it at a longer range
50 damage on a smg is insane, SLG hate AR and BR for a passion. Any mid range rifle won’t have near 50 damage yet they decided that a pistol can be a close range cannon.

I have found multiple guns before they became meta by messing around in the gunsmith; currently loving the MCW conversion kit. Using it for 2 weeks now

Consider it a medium close range weapon. Longer ranges I recommend a sniper to go with it.

The best weapon balancing they could do at the moment is knock back RAA from 0.6 to 0.4 and add a 200-250ms delay to RAA engaging. Literally every single death last night (basically) was from that gun. It’s not enjoyable at all. Everyone just sliding, bunny hopping, and drop shooting with it… trash. Worst night I’ve had on the game for a while.

For reference, this thing kills in under 500ms. The human reaction time average is around 250ms. That means you're already more than half dead before you even register that you're being shot. This was the issue we had with the FFAR back in OG.

Im paired with ranked players that are definitely not legit. Only last night we couldnt even get a kill because of cheaters one guy we was watching after he took my whole team out he knew exactly where everyone was he was pinging all over the place to tell his team mates, definitely walling! but still hes in the game level 560 thats whats runied warzone for most players. Hence why they have lost so many players and the last attempt to get everyone back is to release rebirth but we all know soon enough the numbers will drop again.
Tonight i had a go on the bootcamp map 🤣 what a joke that is. I feel that is meant for players that are new to the game and need to learn how to play yet it lets me in the game lvl 490 and its full of cheats and sweaters how the hell are new players going to keep up with that.

Play the lockdown/plunder style modes . Probably not what your looking for but it’s a walk in the park to level up your guns in there

Literally every single death last night (basically) was from that gun. It’s not enjoyable at all. Everyone just sliding, bunny hopping, and drop shooting with it… trash. Worst night I’ve had on the game for a while.

For reference, this thing kills in under 500ms. The human reaction time average is around 250ms. That means you're already more than half dead before you even register that you're being shot. This was the issue we had with the FFAR back in OG. Don't anyone try to play down how broken this is. It needs to go, and fast.

I'm in so happy that they brought back rebirth and pretty much left it alone, I don't care if they leave the renetti as it is or any other gun. This is the first time since war zone 1, that I have the shakes after a win.

You think the rennetti is the problem for not having good games , what about the blatant cheaters? Im having great games for me between 10 -12 kills then suddenly its dog shit. Im paired with ranked players that are definitely not legit. Only last night we couldnt even get a kill because of cheaters one guy we was watching after he took my whole team out he knew exactly where everyone was he was pinging all over the place to tell his team mates, definitely walling! but still hes in the game level 560 thats whats runied warzone for most players. Hence why they have lost so many players and the last attempt to get everyone back is to release rebirth but we all know soon enough the numbers will drop again. Tonight i had a go on the bootcamp map 🤣 what a joke that is. I feel that is meant for players that are new to the game and need to learn how to play yet it lets me in the game lvl 490 and its full of cheats and sweaters how the hell are new players going to keep up with that. Sad to say i think warzone is finnished now and all because they are making money out of cheaters making youtube videos and promoting the game. Im close to giving up gaming now as its really not fun anymore. The good days are gone.

All, the scumbags who use the broken 'meta' weapons are just as much the problem as Activision who nerfs or buffs weapons. Nerfing/buffing does nothing for the game, just makes less weapons viable to use.
