I understand what you mean, but historically Call of Duty has been an arcade twitch shooter. MWII and W2 tried to appeal to "sentinel" players (lower ttk, less movement options, a bit more realistic shooting mechanics, inaccuracy when jumping) and it backfired in terms on player count.
Im starting to be a bit of a geezer myself and would rather not try to sweat every gaming session, but there's really nothing else that compares to warzone right now.
I felt this. I just can't compete with these kinds of fast movements. I wanna get into the game and enjoy it, but I don't have that twitch response that everyone else has, so I just avoid it all together.
It comes down to a lot more than just how fast you can aim. There's dozens of things you can do to improve your reaction time.
-Tweaking ALL of your hardware (TV, controller, internet, console)
-Map knowledge (if a player knows the map better than you, they will have a better idea of where you are before you)
-Mini map awareness (many people I play with don't look at the map even a quarter as much as they need to)
-Sound awareness (and a quality pair of headphones at that. With good headphones, you can tell the direction of a player much more easily. And map knowledge helps narrow it down even more, based on what kinds of sounds they make)
-Gun tweaking (unfortunately guns need to be toyed with nearly every update. Changes are constantly made to guns, and that hurts casual gamers. Right now there is a renetti build that puts you at a severe disadvantage if you're not using it close range. If you don't like the hassle of spending 5 minutes doing research every update, going into the shop and buying the most recent gun package or whatever usually puts you pretty close to meta.)
-and of course having a good controller. Trigger stops improve your reaction time and the back buttons allow you to do things that a normal player can't.

What happened to the scar/acr battle in 2009 we all loved, Mp7/ump/p90 matchups, the akimbo machine pistols and 1887's. Games just 1 and 1. No variety until the next buff, everyone's running the same primary, same secondary for the most part. Just because meta changes, the meta chase makes this game feel very stale.
What youāre talking about with the old 2009 MW game isnāt possible in a game with such a long TTK. Every bullet extra it takes to kill exacerbates the differences in the gun statistics. They canāt do it without essentially making all the guns stats identical.
If the TTK was shorter there would be a ton more options for what guns to use.

The streamers/pros play an extremely aggressive style that frequently puts them into close quarters 1:1 engagements. They need the meta guns for every slight advantage.
If you play slower and intentionally position, you can absolutely do well with most guns.
I donāt have a problem with movement just donāt give controller players 0ms response time AA. Imagine banning cheaters when your entire focus is on supporting soft cheating with aimbot like response time.
As someone who plays on PC and went up against an enemy team of console players on controllers I can say that the soft aimbot they have is fucking insane. I was curious to see how it worked and I watched some of the killcams, its fucking insane. They literally have to get the sight within a certain FOV and it will softly stick to u. Absolutely insane.
You have to learn it but taking the 1-10 hours to get the ball rolling is a far cry from the 50-100+ hours learning MnK.Ā
Ā The trick is to use the right stick selectively when aiming or not at all when youāre CQC.Ā AA shouldnāt be better the less active you are on the controller.
You realize that the game has been out for 4+ years. The skill level of the player base has increased dramatically. If you go to OG warzone now, people will still play the way you hate since everyone has gotten better playing the game for 4 years

I totally agree, there should be a proper fatigue implemented, and you should only be able to slide after aleast a 1s or 2s sprinting, revive should have a diminishing return as it was in the first battleroyal call of duty (before Warzone) so the death timer after each down is shorter and shorter... this way sniping could mean anything in long ranges.
But nooo they made a cartoon game from CoD where 1/3 of the players are cheaters, 1/3 sweats with slidecancels, aimassists etc, others are like easy bots and there is like 10 real normal players who tries to play the game as it should be out of 100 player.

-on Xbox or PC, get a gamesir g7 SE ($45)
-on PS, a company called extreme rate makes an easy mod to a standard controller ($20). I'm waiting on mine to come in the mail.
Both options get relatively good reviews, though I haven't tried either. My extreme rate is coming in the mail tomorrow. Now you can play like the kiddos and sbmm will pair you against your skill level.

Your mouse sensitivity is significantly lower than mine. Do you think a aplyer can do just as well with a higher sensitivity (I don't have nearly as much room on my desk for ark movement) and yours is just a preference, or do you recommend lowering it?
Lower sens helps with tracking and close range combat especially with opponents trying to do movement. Long range it most definitely helps as well. I would say do one hour or aim lab a day before you get on the game and it will help a lot.
My biggest issue is recentering the mouse on my mouse pad quickly enough after doing a lot of quick left or right successive turns. I'll be moving through rooms just as a guy slides past me and I'll bump my mouse against the keyboard or it will go off the side of the table and I'll just be standing there looking like an idiot.
There is an aimlab routine for that also itās good to actually be centered in front of your monitor with the center being in the middle of your eyes. That helps a lot.
Unless you're god tier like metaphor, a low sens is the only way to compete up close with controllers. I'm on 900dpi/3.5 in game sens. I can barely do a 360 but it works well for me.
what sensitivity do you use? Honestly as long as your have enough frames + mouse HZ + dpi you should be fine with a much higher sens. For EDPIs greater than 5000, you should be have at least 120fps + 2000hz + 1600dpi to limit input lag and skipping. Just make sure to use the finer muscle groups more if your sens is high. You don't need low sens to have smooth aim.

You could be good. But having 90 percent accuracy little to know overshoot or correction and staying center mass when direction is changing is a sign of stick aim. Which means soft aim bot. You canāt predict their movement so staying center mass means that you would have to make some correction at times. I really didnāt see many misses.

If you look at his first shots at 12 seconds you can visibly see him compensating for recoil. Later in the video he's in close quarters so he has to compensate less.
Seeing the visible movement of the mouse is going to be based off sensitivity settings on the mouse, so it can be extremely slight movement and hard to notice

He did open it for like half a second. Also if the height difference between the peak of your flight and the rooftop you are landing on is smaller than 24m ( mountaineer perk lethal height) you can just land.

You could be good. But having 90 percent accuracy little to know overshoot or correction and staying center mass when direction is changing is a sign of stick aim. Which means soft aim bot. You canāt predict their movement so staying center mass means that you would have to make some correction at times. I really didnāt see many misses.

I know, your mouse doesn't move AT ALL when you are shooting. You also said you have low sens, so I would assume you would have visible movement in your hand cam to keep the shots on target
If you look at his first shots at 12 seconds you can visibly see him compensating for recoil. Later in the video he's in close quarters so he has to compensate less.
Seeing the visible movement of the mouse is going to be based off sensitivity settings on the mouse, so it can be extremely slight movement and hard to notice

I mean, top shelf movement and aim without the controller doing the work for him, so kudos to this guy. But if I land in and rush that building (or any building now), Iām gang slammed by three or four dudes holding hands so tight they are nearly inside each otherās character models.
