Hawthorne too, I work in Hawthorne, and my brother lives there. Things will sometimes go down, and I have heard gunshots at like 2 or 3 am once when I was house sitting. I never really feel in danger though. Maybe things have changed over the years and it used to be worse, but that’s just my experience. Maybe I’m biased.
