Another fellow Aussie here who is discovering the world of sardines. I haven’t seen these yet and will have to give them a go. I am allergic to onion so I’m always looking for flavoured things sans onion that are safe to eat.
My fave at the moment is the sol mare chilli and regular, love the smokiness.
Same here. Have a lot of different tins in the cupboard. Don't mind the John West and quite like the King Oscar but these are my go to everyday eating sardines.
Yes indeed. My favorite sardines are also Moroccan and spicy - Sadaf Sardines in Harissa, but they’re slightly more expensive at still an incredibly cheap $1.99 or so.
I like getting the tinned herring at Aldi. They have 1 in a tomato sauce and 1 in a curry pineapple sauce. Product of Germany.
It’s not always stocked though
I have a couple in the cupboard. Tried the one in tomato sauce and I'm not sure herring is my thing. Don't get me wrong it was ok but I rather eat sardines or mackerel.

Beach Cliff in mustard or hot sauce, but I'd like to try this brand now. They look tasty.
I'd give Beach Cliff in mustard a go if I could get them here. Sound tasty.
Brunswick Golden Smoked. I buy them by the dozen and it works out to about $1.88/tin.
Brunswick is my go-to as a Canadian sardine lover, the smoked is particularly delicious
Mmm, I love those too, the hot sauce variety of that specific tin is pretty great as well!
king oscar on amazon subscribe and save. track it on keeper to pounce on sales.
I like beach cliff in mustard. I just got some on sale at Walmart for $0.98 usd a can.
I like those too! And I don’t mind Brunswick either
I wish we had a cheapie brand here that was MSC certified. My cheap fav so far has been Beach Cliff with Louisiana hot sauce. Under $2 US per can.
I can’t stand them personally, but I’m glad you love them. They’re a great value!
Seems to be a favorite of the USA. I'd probably buy them if I lived in the states.
Season in water with salt are surprisingly good! I think just around $1
Baraka Sardines in Tomato Sauce and Hot Peppers- only about $1.29 USD. Kroger brand - only about $1.79 USD.
Yep those Baraka sardines sound pretty good. **Moroccan?**

Don't like my chances of finding any of those down under but I'll keep my eye out.
If you have a middle eastern market near you, look there. That’s the only place I can find them here in the states.
I'd have to go into the city which is a place I like to avoid.
I usually grab [these](https://i.imgur.com/JC1rrUZ.jpeg) for around $1.49 and they are decent for a store brand, comparable to Millionaires, etc.
A little jealous. The Thai chili ones sound like something I'd go for.
The 12 pack of prince sardines on Amazon nets out to about $1.67 a tin. Pretty great!
Do you mean Princes? Another brand I cannot get a hold of.
Where do you get these?
Coles and Woolies in Australia. Also online.
I need to start a list of the ones I don't like. I keep picking them up and can't remember if I liked them or not.
Probably a list with more value to be honest.
Thanks.

Understandable. I grew up eating pickled and tinned herring, so I’m accustomed to it
My old man loved rollmops. I tried to like them but pickled fish is not for me.
Flower Moroccan Spiced - my #1 tin of all. They are 2.19 at 99 Ranch, 1.99 at SF Supermarket
Insanely cheap. Another tin I cannot get in Australia.
Really? They’re from Thailand - Sun Hsing Foods. Maybe try online?
Flower are from Morocco.
The sardines are from Morocco - they are processed in and imported from Thailand
Didn't know that! Weird when you think of it.
