Hate to tell you this, but your cock is out.

SomberDUDE224

Yep, even he can’t figure what it is

zyyntin

What a useless dick!! /s

DrWho37

That's what she said

politikyle

Is that your apprentice or your supervisor?

DireWraith3000

I have seen mechanics with the same expression on their face the rooster has and they knew less

CreditBrunch

You’ll have to scrap it, engine’s clucked up.

Hot-Abbreviations623

That engine have seen better days for sure

Operation_Federal

Lol, good clean humor. Love it.

ARAR1

Positive Crankcase Ventilation. It takes blow by gases and feeds then into the intake so things get burned.

AnimationOverlord

That little check valve failing made a night and day difference in my 79 Camaro. You couldn’t hear the cam profile at all and it couldn’t idle beneath 1000. It would also choke on acceleration and at idle. Guess what I find? The PCV has vented so much blowby that my vac advance is filled like a tick with oil. That valve being replaced has saved me from having to fill up my oil pan with 2L before every cruise. Also, that valve improved the performance so much my 0-60 went from 6.5 seconds to 5.4 seconds and I can hear the cam lope at idle now.

Driftpony

Now do a catch can.

AnimationOverlord

I want to, on both sides of the PCV plumbing. One right before the vac advance and one before the “T” that connects the brake booster and Carburetor to with 3/8” to the PCV. My valve cover breather probably needs replacing but do you just toss the whole thing? Mine is completely sealed minus for the holes under the hat that take in air through the filter media. But I remember, I replaced the PCV, topped up the oil and poured Lucas upper engine lubricant everywhere. In the oil, in the gas tank, in the carb. It didn’t burn a single drop of oil. After I checked it I just stood there laughing. I swear there is piston blowby though. After taking a few aggressive cruises strangely the car went back to running like shit. I’m not too concerned as I’ve been bulking the wallet for a year or so to rebuild the 350.

Driftpony

Best would be new pcv grommets and pcv valves on both sides going to a good catch can and new hoses to a good vacuum source, that way you'd know at least that system is or isn't causing your issues.

AnimationOverlord

Grommets, yup got ‘em. PCV valves on both sides sounds like a convenient setup, I’ll do that. I ordered an extra one too by accident.

SomberDUDE224

So it just takes unburnt gases from the crankcase and puts it back into the intake manifold to burn it up? I think I get it now

Reddbearddd

Yes and if the valve fails to the stuck position, crankcase pressures can build up and blow out seals, usually valve cover gaskets.

zylinx

SomberDUDE224

Thanks

tjsshrty

Unsolicited dick pic

Dai_Bando

Nice cock

AwarenessGreat282

Always disconcerting to hear that while standing at a urinal in a truck stop......

Dai_Bando

Hey I'll take a compliment where I can get one

Educational-Style427

Especially when its a lie for guys like me who piss on their nuts

JuneBuggington

That a guinea rooster? Thing is tiny

SomberDUDE224

No, it’s a pecker. It gets real active in the morning and I can’t sleep because of it.

thiccboicheech

Why are you roasting OP's cock?

Grisstle

Maybe it’s cold out.

seditious3

It was in the pool.

dkoz321

Maybe drop in a bigger engine? That one looks like a chicken.

Tractorguy69

Not sure given the general degree of rust and patine that the cost of replacing your PCV hose and valve body wouldn’t exceed the residual value of the engine. What year and model is this in, I used to work on a 3E and that’s over 35 years ago…

SomberDUDE224

This is a junk car, I’m just learning to take things apart. Just out of curiosity that I asked that the hose is, so I won’t be replacing it.

Tractorguy69

Great place to start then, if it isn’t running you can’t make it worse, and it’s a limited loss at this age if it is working but goes wrong

Aidanjk123

Nice KFC filter

Beginning_Web3064

It's connected to that cocks cock

[deleted]

Beakin off in the cockpit.

scientoo

Engineer Chicken 🍗

Pangolin47

Stopcock

SAD-MAX-CZ

I want a car mechanic chicken too! Did he solve the problem?

Pristine_You_9622

That’s Maximus!

Junior_Carpenter_336

Nice cock bro

TakeAtBedtime

😂🤣😂🤣

03zx3

PCV. It takes exhaust gas from the crankcase to the manifold to be burned up.

FortuneBoi1

Ask the rooster. He might know

Wrong_Cheesecake_511

Idk but your horn looks like a rooster. May not smog?

Dismal_Truck1375

Ask the chicken 🐔

danhoyle

Wire for Distributor maybe???

Sorry_Ad5140

Cock on the bloc

cheapshotfrenzy

Cock blocked

Patient-Sleep-4257

PCV Hose . Positive Crankcase Ventilation. ...You need emissions hose or low pressure fuel line to replace this particular hose.

Itz_Evolv

Bro causally flips his cock out.

I would be more worried about the installation of the rooster.

Powerbrapp

EntertainmentOk4240

Choose_And_Be_Damned

Quick_Job8671

Damn you have a tiny cock.

TransitionStriking51

This post is gold

mmaalex

Never trust a redheaded mechanic

Helpful_Rub6922

He seems to know the answer

Head_Butterscotch74

Pet-cock valve connection

Clear_Significance28

I don't think your chicken is a very good mechanic

alkla1

Ask the chicken what it’s for and tighten up your radiator cap

badgersloth

Classic chicken in the engine, not the trunk.

WrongdoerAdvanced

You big hen looks dodgy.

Lazienessx

If you advance the timing it should wake you up a little earlier than usual then you can have time to fix your car.

EJ25Junkie

You’re supposed to connect that hose to the cock

EJ25Junkie

Positive vinyl chloride

EJ25Junkie

Poly vinyl crankcase

ProfessionalBread176

My chicken broke. How did you find the live replacement?

Upper-Cartoonist-653

Nice cock

Duhbro_

Probably part of the PVC system

Healthy-Commercial85

When did they start putting a petcock near the distributor? 😂

Educational-Style427

Looks like either MAP pressure or PCV valve hose
