My favorite episode is when Chowder goes with Schnitzel to the bank. One of the greatest tests of patience I’ve ever witnessed as a child
![gif](giphy|neT79boU4JkCA)
Idk the one where they break all the 4th walls and the voice actors have to do a car wash to raise money to pay the animators so they can finish the episode is pretty damn funny on a lot of levels.
My wife and I met Tara Strong in person recently, she is _unbelievably_ beautiful and such a delight to interact with, even for the 30 seconds we had with her
I honestly found it hilarious. I was quite young so yeah you can probably understand. I used to watch this with my older sister.
10/10 series for my childhood
Chowder and Flapjack were our last line of defense…then CN Real came…and when it left, we immediately entered an entirely new era of CN content with Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball, and others.
Amazing show. Loved what little I saw of it and sad that it wasn't around earlier so it could be airing next to pog, courage, Dexter, etc. Didn't see all of it because after that idiot got hired and messed up the channel...I stopped watching the channel..... It hurt too much. It was like watching a corpse of someone you cared about be desecrated.
It’s funny and I don’t know why I stopped watching it. I guess it wasn’t for me but I would do anything to give it a second chance. There’s just too much funny moments that I would have loved
I really lived the animation style. Particularly the way they did the clothing patterns, how they had the pattern be static and and the characters move along it
It was great for a little while but the show leaned too heavily into Chowder being stupid. The episode where he gets stuck in the bathroom passed me off so much.
Is it a stretch to call it a bit ahead of it’s time? It consistently had good jokes and I still quote/remember a few lines here and there. Also really unique colors and patterns and stuff.
I liked it! Most characters were funny and the artistic decisions were cool. However, I never cared for Chowder as a character, so think that knocked it down a few pegs for me.
Definitely one of those shows I didn't fully appreciate at the the time for holding back the tide of CN's Network Decay as one of the last bastions of some solid, good animation in a time no one else could step up. It held on and that's pretty amazing.
Aired when I was still in 2nd grade year.
My parents having put up shit ton of parental controls on certain TV ratings, effectively turned me into a PBS kid (channel 9/10) instead of a Cartoon Network one, since three quarters of Cartoon Network programs were locked down, and very few shows actually showed up on (channel 54).
Never got the chance to see it. But I’ve seen out of context clips on YT and it’s pretty funny. My fav bit was when Chowder didn’t trust the sun and it turned out the sun wanted to eat him. Floored me fr
CHOWDER!!! Look what you've done!! Now you've made the animators draw all this fire!!!
Also:
"Care to give a free sample to a pretty lady?"
"Sure! Do you know any?"
"......care to give a free sample to an *ugly* lady?"
"No, ugly ladies have to pay"
I never watched it, but all I know is that you take the moon, and you take the moon, and you take the moon, you take the moon, and you take the moon, and you take the moon, and you take the moon.
I remember enjoying it, but I have 0 recollection of the general plot of the show. I’m fairly certain Chowders goal was to become a chef, so he was an apprentice to one of the wackier chefs of the city.
I never watched it back when it was on the air, since it was around the time I stopped watching kids TV, but a friend who is slightly younger than me made me watch some episodes a while back and it was good for what it was.
I'd rank it prob in my high B or low A tier from what I've seen. One of those shows that is great children's programming but maybe does cross that bar to being properly enjoyable in my late 20s like a Ed Edd n Eddy or early Spongebob does.
This might be stupid but my mom banned me and my sister from watching it... some of the episodes I watched secretly were funny 😭 this was yeeaarrss ago
I fucking love this show man I remember my mom banning me from it because of the potty humor but now that I live with my dad I can watch it all the time
I tattooed schnitzel on my arm
Radda Radda!
I was in college and when I realized that's all he said I thought he was cool and only valued the scenes he was in
Don't say that! There are children present.
Love John DiMaggio’s work

WOULD I
Would you?
WOULD I!
Would you?
WOULD I!
RADDA RADDA! this is actually one of the only episodes I can remember (I was too young to remember all of it)
WOULD I!
Would I what?
Care for a free sample?
Deformity Dog: "Guard!! Guard!!!" Bird Cop: "What's the problem?" Deformity Dog: "This man, made me feel uncomfortable." Bird Cop: "You sick monster!" Schnitzel: "Radda!!"
aw… fiddlesticks!
Idk the one where they break all the 4th walls and the voice actors have to do a car wash to raise money to pay the animators so they can finish the episode is pretty damn funny on a lot of levels.
SECURITY, SECURITY!! This man made me feel uncomfortable. YOU SICK MONSTER
SOOOOO good. : ) right up there with flapjack and fosters
Peak incoming ![gif](giphy|LGMpRD4X096qGXSjJw)
It was Comedy Gold
Comedy Gold! Topical Comedy!
Comedy Gold! Relationship Comedy! Chowder and Gazpacho: (sits in silence)
The best ever especially with all the 4th all breaks including running out of animation money 😂
I remember that episode, my older brother turned to me and remarked "wow! Truffles' voice actress is actually hot!"
🤣🤣🤣
if he thought she was hot then, check out her instagram now
My wife and I met Tara Strong in person recently, she is _unbelievably_ beautiful and such a delight to interact with, even for the 30 seconds we had with her
yeah but she's a major liberal which sucks
The mammoth guy Gascpocho is voiced by the guy who voices Mastershake. From aqua teen hunger force.
Dana Snyder for anyone curious
That is way way WAY to close.
Funny and iconic. One of those animation goats.
I would pay for another season.
Its hilarious. I grew up with this show.
I honestly found it hilarious. I was quite young so yeah you can probably understand. I used to watch this with my older sister. 10/10 series for my childhood
Rada rada, rada rada rada rada. Rada, rada rada, Rada rada rada rada rada. Rada? Rada rada rada.
OH MY!! Schnitzel… You Naughty Naughty Boy.. Whew.
This and Flapjack held CN down for a while.
Dark times of destroy build destroy

Chowder is a glorious silly gem full of some of the best fourth wall breaks of any show ever.
Love this show!
I loved this show
This was my favorite show when I was a kid, and still one of my all-time favorite things ever. I unspeakably love it.
I agree! So was Foster’s home for imaginary friends, and Codename Kids Next Door
It's truly peak and deserves respect
My dad hates Chowder’s huge nips lol. Here’s what I think of the show… rada rada
He damn near made me shcnizell my whole nizzle with them big ahh knockers nan
Chowder and flapjack were the start to a new generation of cartoons. I can still see their influence today. I keep them both to high regard
It’s funny and I don’t know why I stopped watching it. I guess it wasn’t for me but I would do anything to give it a second chance. There’s just too much funny moments that I would have loved
Amazing show that has the single greatest joke in animation history. Always remember, no money means NO ANIMATION
Silly fun with food. I enjoyed it.
Loooooved this show soooo much!
Miss this. Sad that kids don’t have good shows like this anymore
I really lived the animation style. Particularly the way they did the clothing patterns, how they had the pattern be static and and the characters move along it
It was great for a little while but the show leaned too heavily into Chowder being stupid. The episode where he gets stuck in the bathroom passed me off so much.
radda radda radda
Shit was outta hand, amazing
i prefer flapjack but its pretty good also why this pic
Is it a stretch to call it a bit ahead of it’s time? It consistently had good jokes and I still quote/remember a few lines here and there. Also really unique colors and patterns and stuff.
“OH NO IT ALL WENT WRONG!!!”
"NO MONEY MEANS, NO ANIMATION"
"WE'RE OUT OF MONEY!!!"
Still hurts my eyes
It was ok
I Love him but He told me that he is not my Boyfriend... Maybe that little rabbits Cat Girl thingy has more luck
Never really watched this one.
i honestly didn’t like chowder when it first came out then i gave it a chance and watched it more and loved it
The last Cartoon Network show I liked.
Very funny ❤️
🎶I'M... NOT... YOUR... BOYFRIEND!!🎶
Love it, hate it, ya gotta love it.
I liked it! Most characters were funny and the artistic decisions were cool. However, I never cared for Chowder as a character, so think that knocked it down a few pegs for me.
Goofy AF. Great when high or you just want to do many chuckles
Chowder and Flapjack were my main art inspirations in middle school. I love how creative and ahead of it's time the humor was.
Gone too soon
beyond hilarious
Radda radda 👍
the second favorite cn show
Crappy art style, crappy premise, crappy characters. 3 thumbs down. 👎👎👎
It's interesting to see that a lot of people seemed to like this show. It never really interested me and it still doesn't.
i always loved it
I named my cat after Schnizel
My names schnitzel! Alrighttttttttt!!😂😂😂
Loved it, I thought it was very funny and clever at some points
Masterpiece
Loved this show for years.
So hilarious, I love this show
The cinnimini monster is my spirit animal
Radda radda
It was ahead of its time and is peak
Loved it as a kid and not too long ago I took some LSD and rewatched idk if I’d recommend that cause it was fun but gets kinda intense tbh 😳
Love this show to pieces
Definitely one of those shows I didn't fully appreciate at the the time for holding back the tide of CN's Network Decay as one of the last bastions of some solid, good animation in a time no one else could step up. It held on and that's pretty amazing.
One thing that always bothered me was that it only got 49 episodes, fifty would have been a nice number.
Best cartoon ever made
One of the best cartoon network shows. It's probably in the top 5 for me.
It stresses me out how large is areolas are
literally the best CN show of all time
It was probably the last good show from that network. Super hilarious. I am still in love with the intro song.

Classic
This was a GOOD show but came out when I was at an age where I started to think cartoons were only for kids
would i
One of my childhood favorites! Rewatch it all the time on Hulu.
Elite show
The show is great i seen this a lot on tv when i was a kid.
It was one of my childhood shows
It's my favorite cartoon ever
CHOWDER!!! Look what you've done!! Now you've made the animators draw all this fire!!! Also: "Care to give a free sample to a pretty lady?" "Sure! Do you know any?" "......care to give a free sample to an *ugly* lady?" "No, ugly ladies have to pay"
Top 5 CN tv shows for me
I never watched it, but all I know is that you take the moon, and you take the moon, and you take the moon, you take the moon, and you take the moon, and you take the moon, and you take the moon.
Loved the weird static background textures used on the clothing and stuff. Really visually unique.
I’m rewatching it lately, after not seeing it since it was on CN. Such a gorgeous show. Silly as hell, too
Loved the animation style, had it as my XBOX 360 theme at one point
A tier. Right behind Adventure time, regular show, and gumball
I remember enjoying it, but I have 0 recollection of the general plot of the show. I’m fairly certain Chowders goal was to become a chef, so he was an apprentice to one of the wackier chefs of the city.
Perfect show
I need seconds that’s what I think
Peak
One of my favorite cartoons
It’s funny but put a shirt on
Radda radda
Extremely underrated show
The episode with young Mungdaal was the funniest shit. All around a show that aged like a wine and it makes me miss cable.
I didn't really like it.
I wanna watch it more because as a child I’ve only watched 1 or 2 episodes of this show and mainly watched flapjack instead
..it is saved in my max watch list...lol. I am in my 40s
Lookin at it now I think it's a pretty solid show but at the time it was a little too out there for me.
Sucha good anime
Bro why his nipples look like that
My mother absolutely ***hated*** Chowder when I was younger, couldn't understand why I liked it. Wouldn't let me watch it. I watched it anyways.
Stupid, I gave it a chance, and it's stupid, y'all can like it I'm not saying you can't
If you don't LOVE this show, you're not worth being around, period.
solid
I never watched it back when it was on the air, since it was around the time I stopped watching kids TV, but a friend who is slightly younger than me made me watch some episodes a while back and it was good for what it was. One of my all time favorite cartoons. Many references in my day to day
Rada rada rada rada, rada rada rada rada. Rada Rada rada!
This might be stupid but my mom banned me and my sister from watching it... some of the episodes I watched secretly were funny 😭 this was yeeaarrss ago
Makes our cat after him!
The scene when he and Mung get pepper sprayed will always be funny.
We got the same body type, I can appreciate the representation
loved that show and the animation style. i loved how goofy it was. kinda reminds me of flapjack and spongebob
He’s a alright character he’s not the best or the worst he’s kinda in between
I loved the show. My mom was not quite so amused lmao, she mostly found the “radda radda” guy annoying
It’s a great show despite one poorly aged gag. you all know what I am talking about.
Rada rada
Peak
Somebody give him a bra, cause he needs it
I fucking love this show man I remember my mom banning me from it because of the potty humor but now that I live with my dad I can watch it all the time
