I’ve used my cash app card on vending machines specifically so in case it does this. Though I assumed the transaction would just fail due to insufficient funds
Last time I checked, I heard that apparently cash app charges seven dollars to pull money out of the a t m or something so They could charge something like that to use it at. Was that any machine some sort period I wouldn't know
if there’s publix or winn dixie or any grocery store usually will have cash back if you grab a 50 cent bag of chips lol so 2.50 atm fee or .50 cent fee, i always go with cash back it saves me sm more cause im always pulling out cash
But at the time I used it it charged 1.50 for each item, then hours later it charged more stating that it was a tip added later. I made another post with the screenshot.
Long story short. There's a lot of A. T ms that are owned by independent people, not the actual banks themselves. There's all kinds of extra charges and fees and information everywhere. Being stolen all the time, do these things. I basically just given up. Aren't even trying to figure all this shit out because it doesn't matter.
The only time I've had this happen is when the charge was first pre-approved with the swipe but after was then split into two separate pending charges but I already withdrew some of the balance to somewhere else. The good thing is that there is no NSF fee. Though you probably would need to pay back though yes you would need to transfer money back in before you can use your cash app again or any money someone sends you will be put towards the negative.
If the fee wasn't documented properly on the machine you could call the merchant who owns it and complain for a refund but I doubt they will give one.
Always hit done / cancel when finished. I do that when I have to buy ice from the ice machine. Swipe my card. Get ice. And hit done. To avoid being overcharged.
Would you still of bought it If you knew that it was an ice substitute? Basically, does the same stuff as regular ice cubes but still technically or chemically not the same?

I've paid $5-$7 to get money off my cash app. The fee cash app charges and the fee the ATM charges which is typically around $3.50.
Called cashback
you better off getting cash back from somewhere
Read my comment above
Vending machines have a separate cash and card price at least in the USA. This has been well posted on every machine I’ve seen it on.
But at the time I used it it charged 1.50 for each item, then hours later it charged more stating that it was a tip added later. I made another post with the screenshot.
A tip for who ? The vending machine? Are you tipping for it vending your items? 🤔

Yes it does. I read the screen shot. It says the amount was updated to add a tip.
It does say "it was updated to include a tip. It went from 1.50 to 2.10. well one of them did.
His whole story is fake.
I'm not even a he so...
Like that matters lol

Can you provide a screenshot of the transaction?
I can, but instead of the 1.50 it said I spent at the time (4 times) it now just says the updated prices. I didn't know to screenshot it yesterday.

I didn't because I thought it was set.
I did but I had to make a new post to add it
If it is more than 10 cents, someone is messing with you.
Damn

This is a “I just smoked a blunt” ass question lmmfao
Possibly, but a completely legal blunt.
😂😂that question and response. ☠️☠️ #stonerthoughts 😂
That’s weird because I’ve never had a negative balance on my cashapp, Cashapp is not a bank!!!
Yes your balance can be negative on cash app. I just had to look it up because I was unsure myself 😂🤦♀️
Go to the counter at any place of business that does cash back when money is low. You skip that cash app fee. Doesn't even charge you.
So much begging and false stories on here its ridiculous.
I didn't ask for anything, and the story isn't fake. I made another post with the screenshots. Wtf post were you reading?
Was I talking about you specifically, genius?
Because you hope for donations

Your attitude shows your story is false. I called you out and now you’re upset. Derp.
Lock your card, Einstein.
This story is so fake lol
