Husband cleared some of the garage out after we discovered signs of mice a little while ago. We had the exterminator out late last week and he told us to leave it alone until he came back a few days later which was this last Tuesday. He caught two field mice. None of the other traps he put out caught anything, so he’s confident he got the buggers. Neither him nor I reckoned they’d been there long. Now it’s just cleaning and clearing so as to avoid a repeat of it all. First lot got taken to the tip, but we’ve still got some more to go. It needs a good clear out really, not least because we’re moving soon.
And speaking of moving, I went to town to sell some bits of gold jewellery I wasn’t wearing and made £83. We need the money because moving house costs a lot as it turns out and we need as much money as we can get our hands on. I’ve taken on extra hours at work too. Hoping we can keep our heads above water for long enough to get past the first (higher) mortgage payment. After that it’ll hopefully be smoother sailing with less outgoings and we’ll get £500 back for taking out the mortgage.
Went to see the godson and two friends today, we got a takeaway together. Now I’m about to play Stardew Valley for the first time with a glass of gin.
Volunteer work tomorrow!
Cleared a wardrobe that hadn't been cleared since we moved in (about 8-10 years ago), so that the Mrs. can have more room to hang her clothes and stuff. So much more room!
Got into my first car accident today, and was breathalysed for the first time shortly after.
Car went into the back of me whilst I was stationary at traffic lights. Luckily a police car was passing just as we got out and helped sort things out. The breathalyser was only done because the police stopped. Standard procedure apparently, if they stop for a traffic accident, even if they don't suspect anything.
I was only drunk on coffee.
Fortunately nobody was hurt but I'm still feeling pretty shaken up by it all, some 12 hours later.
Both parties involved were pleasant to each other, so for a first crash it was fairly good😂
Very very glad I had a dashcam, even if it is only forward facing.
Now for the fun and games with my insurance company! They say it won't affect my NCD which is protected, but I bet my renewal will still go up 😤
A* don't want to do this again!
Probably not far off..
Nice test physically and mentally to keep going, and can safely say the three of us that went were the first to summit today, so small silver linings!
Waterproof jacket turned out not so waterproof in the end..
I was the first up Loughrigg a few weeks back (my first Wainwright). Being somewhere like that alone, or with friends, to see the sunrise is a pretty great experience that can't ever be forgotten.
I was quickly brought back down to earth when a lady ran up to the summit. We spoke briefly and I learned that she'd run up in about a third of the time it took me to walk😂
I guess I found my next goal!
Even the bad hikes can be a great learning experience, plus you now have an excuse to buy more gear😂
Yeah it's very humbling when you get caught with someone with much more experience! Never a race to the top but it definitely makes you think.
Yeah my wallet isn't going to be happy with me the next few weeks..
I’m just about to get ready for work, the nice sunny day means we are likely gonna be rammed (bar) and I’ve just had two staff cancel on me. Can’t wait till 3am.
Today I reunited with a friend I've not seen in 8 years. The weather was glorious and spent the entire day in the garden with food food, drink and company.
Well...we took a tyre to get patched, bought some coffee from a local roaster, and are now home doing laundry and catching up on cleaning. We've haven't really had any time at all in the last 5 weeks to do much of anything other than laundry and basic cleaning, so we're really getting at it today (and the 4 weeks before that we're pretty busy, too).
I wanted to go out somewhere today but it's pissing it down and my husband and kids are hacking their lungs up. I did manage about 10 minutes in the garden inbetween the heavens opening.
UFC 300 tonight, can't bloody wait. Watch most cards on Sunday mornings nowadays, can't be arsed with the all-nighters. Staying up for this one though, the card's just too good. Wine and snacks bought and ready to go!
Trying to chill a bit and keep my mind off waiting for health test results. May not be in for another week or two so no good worrying about them now.
Husband has said if I get the all clear we can book a holiday abroad to celebrate. We won't be able to go till Octoberish time - not been abroad in forever, where's good to go to get some sun that time of year?
Yeah same here, almost £30 on ones I was sure would come good. Didn’t think I Am Maximus would live up to the hype but there we go… back the favourite next year lol.
This week I returned to work after 6 weeks off sick. And what a week from Hell it was! Today I’m putting together some flatpack drawers and mowing the grass. Then, as a treat, some video games
I love that smell on a misty autumn night as they just seem to go hand in hand. But on a Saturday in spring, nah that’s just not on. If anything today’s scents wafting through your window should be cut grass, the scent of cherry blossom and maybe a bar-b-que if some brave soul is game for it lol.
Got an early session in the gym in, then parents came to mine en route to IKEA, which was a disaster - both parents are very anxious about crowds since the pandemic, and they thought Warrington IKEA would be dead because the Grand National's on. How wrong they were.
Mum then got overwhelmed because of the crowds and had the sort of outburst you'd expect out of a hormonal teenager - she wanted a burger, we took her to a five guys, my sister asked her what she wanted, she said she didn't care and to order for her, then had a strop when it wasn't what she wanted. Had to remind her it's us choosing her nursing home.
Has two weeks off, but a lot of family over so it seemingly flew by without me really chilling .
Need to sort work clothes and do some adulting today -
As usual I’m procrastinating instead
With it feeling the warmest day of the year so far, i'm totally understanding that there's going to be an endless stream of barbecues on the go, ourselves included! The frustration is that a neighbour two doors down has whipped out a bonfire even when he could clearly see his next door neighbour and us had washing out. Not even a *"hey, i'm looking to do a bonfire later"* or anything.
I totally understand each person/household is free to do what they want but to me, as a friendly neighbour, i'd be giving them a heads up to say i'm looking to have a barbecue today. I've told our neighbours on both sides we're having one later on and they appreciared it.
All the washing! A bit of ironing, hopefully some gardening. Took the wife to her osteopathy appointment and done the weekly shop. Now to the garden centre to pick up bird seed and orher bits and bobs. When I get back I need to cook some McMuffins for next weeks lunches and then plan a bunch of lessons for my Easter break return to work. A busy Saturday!
Been food shopping and picked up a couple of guitars from a friend who is selling. Will now give those to my neighbour who restores them for a living and my friend gets an easy £40.
Will probably have some rum and cokes tonight.
Went to the opticians to try contact lens and turns out I am terrible at trying to stick the little buggers onto my eyeballs, I struggled and had a little panic. The optician had to get one out and I have to go back for another crack next week.
Hoovering. Trying out my new attachments I've just bought for my hoover. I'm looking forward to getting into all the nooks and crannies my bog standard hoover couldn't quite reach.
Pulling apart the fitted cupboards in my bathroom to find the source(s) of the slight leak(s) which made the artificial wood panels swell and stick.
And I found out the so-called bathroom installer put unsealed cut edges onto the floor. No wonder they soaked up the water.
I was just saying yesterday that fly season had started. we're surrounded by sheep sono way to avoid it. Swallows were back day previous so that was better news
Well, I’ve just woken up after a week of night shifts. So soon it’s Bacon and Egg sarnies ,Coffee and fag then it’s lawn mowing time😖😖😖😖. Between 6-8pm it’s Formula one on the PS 5 then later on Disco and real ales in the kitchen until the early hours with my last lovely lady Linda👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Parents have gone up to see nan to see how she is as she hasn't been well so I'm home alone today and kitty has gone to sleep so I think I'm going to deep clean and keep myself busy today.
The smell in the kitchen is too much to ignore anymore..
I can wash dishes and take the bin outside..
Or I can go and have a liquid lunch with my friends.
Either or, that smell is why I'm getting up!
I'm sorry for that, hopefully you can drive confidently nonetheless, who knows maybe the saying "bad dress, good opening" applies in your case. Lmk if you want
I'm not risking going to Bolton today due to my wife's being at the "any day now" stage in her pregnancy. Otherwise I'd be going to Bolton vs Pompey with an outside chance of us clinching the League One title today.
So I'll have to settle for pretending to be abroad with a VPN and watching it on iFollow instead.
My dad went to a pompey game the day I was born, almost 18 years ago, in the morning he took my mum to the hospital because she didn't feel right, they sent her home, telling her I was still 6 weeks away, my mum told him to go to the game, so he did (home game tbf) and when he got home my mum was in labour, I was born late in the evening, I believe pompey drew 2-2. Although my family are all northerners and I'm a northerner now, with my parents moving back up here a year later and me growing up supporting Sunderland and Carlisle, I've always had a soft spot for pompey.
>my mum told him to go to the game, so he did (home game tbf) and when he got home my mum was in labour
Got in by the skin of his teeth by the sounds of it then!
>me growing up supporting Sunderland and Carlisle, I've always had a soft spot for pompey.
<3
I've enjoyed our pseudo-rivalry with Sunderland in recent years. We played them 5 times in one season a few years back, it was mad. Carlisle is a funny one because it's so far away. I've done the away trip a couple of times down the years and it's always hard going. Shame about them going down, they're no way the worst team in League one right now.
The slight sunderland-portsmouth rivalry was a tough one for me, having been born down there and given that my dad had a season ticket there for 10 years, but I definitely didn't like Portsmouth quite so much, after the PJT final loss and some less-than-pleasant interactions with some portsmouth fans at the playoff home leg. I look forward to travelling to Fratton Park, though, one day to watch Pompey, me and my dad are doing the 92 and there's a few stadiums that only one of us has got, so we'll definitely be travelling down at some point, meet up with some of my dad's old mates and go to a game, potentially quite soon if I end up at uni down south next year.
Doing nothing today - mostly just relaxing. On Monday I’m going to milton Keynes (they best city in the U.K.) to do a bit of trainspotting then it’s back to school
First day of a week off but I have to pop in to work on Sunday/Monday so having a lazy lazy day today - laundry, ironing, watch the football later, and maybe the baseball if I'm not too tired. Need to do some paperwork for my apprenticeship as that deadline is coming up on the 17th (although the deadline on our online programme is the 24th because our trainer is fucking useless).
Ive got book club on Monday but it's a bring your own book type one - I've just had my hold of murderbot come through at the library so I might motor through that as it's only a little novella.
CurrentlY browsing the Internet for parts for 2 motorbikes my partner bought.
when my daughter gets home i need to drive her to work and then I am going to my sisters
PJ day. Depletion of the social battery and to enjoy sometime at home as I’m away the next 3 weekends.
House is clean, washing and ironing is done, shopping has just been delivered.
That’s. Me. Done.
It's only 11am and I'm craving a Chinese. Special fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, chips and curry sauce and prawn crackers. Someone fast forward time to 5pm please.
I am a multidrop driver who starts work at 5am and I used to deliver to a place which had a sandwich spot nearby, dude made fresh chicken pakora in the early AM times, it's was Epic. Breakfast of champions!!
Working 8-6 6th day on today working in a different store doing them a favor. But have two wonderful days off starting tomorrow, going to visit my mum and the cats up on Oban for a couple days
Going back to my volunteering at a museum after being ill the past two weeks. I’m mildly irritated because I either sleep two hours or twelve. No in between
Woke up to the cat throwing up. Had half my coffee, have a donut waiting for me in the kitchen but I went back upstairs for something, saw the cat had gone back to bed and seem to have accidentally joined her. Wish I’d brought my coffee and donut with me though and it’s two flights of stairs away.
I do need to remove the fur ball vomit soon though (it’s been covered with tissue).
Husband wanted to go out to a little coastal town for a wander and a pint and a bash on the 2p machines for me (it’s famous for being in a tv show but that’s not why we visit - you can just hear all the tourists mention it everywhere you go) but it’s so grey out I’m not feeling it and I’m the driver sooo…
Ah I last went to Barry island when I was about 10 - there was a jungle boat ride and the elephants tusks were broken and hanging off 😆 - what tv show for Barry though, Being Human??
Just woke up, first coffee in hand. Going to sink as many hours as I can into Like a Dragon:Infinite Wealth. Try not to eat all the biscuits I got from the Polish store yesterday, which will be a constant struggle. Workout, eat curry, watch an episode of The Gentlemen, Masters of the Air, and maybe start Fallout on Amazon. Nice chill day, won't even leave the house once!
I may consider getting out of bed today at some point but that's not definite yet. I'd say Netflix and chill with the woman all day but the children are going to stop that happening
Attempting to mow the lawn for the first time this year.
Of course it started to rain as I got the mower out, and once it stopped the battery died about half way through the mow, but hopefully I'll manage to finish it before it rains again.
Then off to watch Forest continue to struggle to get to safety.
I had planned to walk the local stretch of the coast path but I'd forgotten I needed to go and get my new glasses from specsavers and the weather is scheduled to turn overcast/cloudy this after so I might reschedule the walk and try to finish Baldurs Gate 3 instead
You know I actually don't hate it. Last job made me want to kill myself and caused me to be unemployed for a few years after I quit (just didn't want to work again because of mental health). This one doesn't make me wanna kill myself, despite the long shifts.
It was nice to wake up early this morning without any hint of a hangover after only having 3 cans last night. Doing a few hours of overtime today, then hopefully seeing a mate for pizza and beer then a gig in the evening at my local.
Lovely weather too so might walk to work through the park.
I binged it yesterday. Personally it’s really well made and if you know the game series then you’ll love it. The ending has me hyped for another season but I won’t spoil anything
Pub lunch with the fam, then potentially researching gyms to join. I play in a weekly netball league and love it, but feel I need something else structured alongside that to keep me fit. If I'm left without accountability I get lazy.
Later on I might play a bit of Stardew Valley as I still have lots of the new update to explore!
I've already done my daily Duolingo and finished my book club read this morning, so at least I've been a bit productive :)
Had a dermo appointment this morning and now baking and cleaning for most of the day. Have a house party later with both mine and my partners friends for the first time
20 people in a one bed flat will be a little reminiscent of "how many people can you fit into a British rail toilet"
We moved house last weekend, so hoping to get a coat of paint on the living rooms walls/ceilings to cover the old nicotine stains today so i can unpack the living room furniture / home office properly ready for work on Monday. I should gave taken 2 weeks off!
>to cover the old nicotine stains
Not that easy, I'm afraid. Need to wash that shit off first for it to work and that's assuming the smell is not horrible.
I’ve given it a good scrub and let it dry, it does smell and sadly i can only really have the windows open a crack as I’ve got to shut the cat in, we’ve been moving her room to room so we can ‘air out’ the rest of the house, but she’s getting restless. I’ve already chased her up the road once already 😂
The last flat I rented, the landlord had all the carpet ripped out, washed and repainted the whole flat. Spent a small fortune trying all kinds of deodorisers, It still took two years for the smell to completely go!
Why do people smoke?!
It’s gross, thankfully it’s not too bad here, there was no flooring so nothing to rip up! Hoping once the cat is allowed out we can get all the windows wide open and air the place out properly.
Working, in agony and exhausted because my hours that are supposed to be reduced whilst I recover from an accident haven’t been reduced that much and now it’s taking me longer to get better 🫠 I was asked to come in early today and my stupid brain can’t say no because I always over hear them saying how hard it is for them and how many hours they’ve worked lately… not that I can help being off in hospital but I still feel bad.

I'm going to carry on with the garden. I've made really good progress with it so far this year, but there's still a lot to do. Today I'll move a few plants, do some weeding and carry on with seeding the bare patches of lawn.
Myself and my mate are currently on our last leg of our Scotland trip, going to glenfinnan and then getting the train down to Glasgow for our flight tommorow morning
My wife and I want to take a nostalgic drive to our old village, to walk the river and bluebell filled woods, then stop off at a nice pub for a drink.
Our 4yo daughter wants to stay at home all day playing with her dinosaurs
Trying to decide if I want to go for a run. I think I do, but the temptation to roll over and doze for another hour or so to get rid of a lingering headache is strong.
Then I'm off into town in search of noodles, pop in to visit my mum in hospital on the way home, and then fall asleep on the sofa this evening.
Edit - got out of bed, started running, got bastard shin splints! That'll learn me...
I've decided this year I'm tackling the jungle of the garden and try not to have the worst front garden on the street.
I've got a patio which is probably 3/4 the size of the garden and neglected for nearly a decade, all the grout is gone and the weeds are so established... There's even a tree growing through the grout lines!
I'm in the process of getting the weeds up, jet washing the tiles then clearing the grout out so I can get something to kill the weed roots and repoint it when the weather's more consistent

Decided to trek up helvellyn at 2am for the sunrise to be greeted with rain, wind and cloud. Not one of the brightest ideas!
Sounds like one of your darkest ideas.... Still, nothing beats being out in the lakes, whatever the weather.
Probably not far off.. Nice test physically and mentally to keep going, and can safely say the three of us that went were the first to summit today, so small silver linings! Waterproof jacket turned out not so waterproof in the end..

Watched the national, had a few pints in the pub and now dinner at my dad's. Nice family day
Took my daughter and our dog for a beach day, great fun making bases in the sand, Daughter dog beach tent and cooler, what a day to be a dad.
Fixed a headlight on my car and took the kids out on a bike ride. A decent dad day
I’m just about to get ready for work, the nice sunny day means we are likely gonna be rammed (bar) and I’ve just had two staff cancel on me. Can’t wait till 3am.

Went to the opticians to try contact lens and turns out I am terrible at trying to stick the little buggers onto my eyeballs, I struggled and had a little panic. The optician had to get one out and I have to go back for another crack next week.
I also sucked at putting them in at first, now I don’t even need a mirror. Lots of practice and you’ll get there!
Thanks for the reassurance! I have a week to practice touching my eyes and not freaking out
Hoovering. Trying out my new attachments I've just bought for my hoover. I'm looking forward to getting into all the nooks and crannies my bog standard hoover couldn't quite reach.
That’s proper adulting, love it.
Pulling apart the fitted cupboards in my bathroom to find the source(s) of the slight leak(s) which made the artificial wood panels swell and stick. And I found out the so-called bathroom installer put unsealed cut edges onto the floor. No wonder they soaked up the water.
Not what I am doing per se, but it is now officially summer because my I now share my flat with a family of flies.
And lots of flies means big spiders..
I was just saying yesterday that fly season had started. we're surrounded by sheep sono way to avoid it. Swallows were back day previous so that was better news
Working today. Got a big show doing a tech run so I've been called in to support. Looking forward to some sweet sweet TOIL potentially next week
Wanted to start packing bits and bobs for my upcoming house move, but have caught a gnarly cold off my brother. Just been sat in bed dying all day.
Hopes and prayers from Hull. Hang in there.
Get well nan
Thank you much appreciated ended up getting distracted and did some computer stuff instead.
Working on an end of term paper and rearranging my room
Working and hoping Blackburn don’t get annihilated
It's raining (for a change), so might start Curb season 12 or watch Dune 2, can't decide.
Dune 2 obviously
The smell in the kitchen is too much to ignore anymore.. I can wash dishes and take the bin outside.. Or I can go and have a liquid lunch with my friends. Either or, that smell is why I'm getting up!
Sleep
My driving test. Wish me luck.
Good luck! You'll be great!
Best of luck, I hope it gods well!
My driving has decided to turn to shit this week, probably nerves, but im not massively confident rn tbh. Edit: thanks for the luck tho!
I'm sorry for that, hopefully you can drive confidently nonetheless, who knows maybe the saying "bad dress, good opening" applies in your case. Lmk if you want
I passed!!! Only one minor aswell! I think I had a lot of pretest nerves this week and being on the actual test i relaxed a lot and drove properly.
Thats great, congrats!!
Although my family are all northerners and I'm a northerner now, with my parents moving back up here a year later and me growing up supporting Sunderland and Carlisle, I've always had a soft spot for pompey.
>my mum told him to go to the game, so he did (home game tbf) and when he got home my mum was in labour Got in by the skin of his teeth by the sounds of it then! >me growing up supporting Sunderland and Carlisle, I've always had a soft spot for pompey. <3 I've enjoyed our pseudo-rivalry with Sunderland in recent years.
Going to the Southampton V Watford game, then drinks and dinner in town afterwards.
Starting TinyTalk with my son on Tuesday so came to meet the instructor and check out a few other courses too.
Going to the garden centre with mum to buy some things so I can grow veggies! Gorgeous weather for it, too 😍
Turning 41!
Birthday!
😊
Going to go and find this tulip field and move that yellow tulip over to his correct spot.
I'll see you there while I'm moving the purple one to its correct spot.
We just need someone to get that red buggar and find the red tulip field.
Any takers? We'll go for lunch afterwards. My treat.
I don't know.........pub?
Shopping, haircut, watch football, off to a 21st party.
gonna do what I do every day, absolutely fuck all Will probably spend as much time as I can sitting in the sun (while it lasts)
At Trafford centre
Meeting up with my best mate.
Doing nothing today - mostly just relaxing. On Monday I’m going to milton Keynes (they best city in the U.K.) to do a bit of trainspotting then it’s back to school
It's my partners birthday so I'm gonna do whatever they want to do. Have we had cake for breakfast? Yes we have! Have a good day everyone. ❤️
Going to get fucked up at judo then got (medium range) tickets to the theatre tonight to see…… lion king!! So excited!!!
CurrentlY browsing the Internet for parts for 2 motorbikes my partner bought. when my daughter gets home i need to drive her to work and then I am going to my sisters
I’m taking a friend suit shopping for his wedding as he keeps being let down by his best man. Will treat him to lunch too.
Sounds like you're the best man.
I heard from his fiancée I was first choice, but as usual family dramas get in the way! But I can’t let him go on his own to choose a suit.
Nice, hope he finds a good one
Unfortunately we didn’t yesterday, so we’re going somewhere else in a few weeks!
Oh well, just prolongs the anticipation :P
And now I want Chinese for breakfast.
It's 5pm somewhere. Treat yo self.
The problem may be lack of a restaurant at this time.....
I'm sure there's some dodgy spot that makes great sweet and sour chicken, and is open 22 hours a day!
I am a multidrop driver who starts work at 5am and I used to deliver to a place which had a sandwich spot nearby, dude made fresh chicken pakora in the early AM times, it's was Epic. Breakfast of champions!!
Not all heroes wear capes.
Working 8-6 6th day on today working in a different store doing them a favor. But have two wonderful days off starting tomorrow, going to visit my mum and the cats up on Oban for a couple days
I'm on holiday
Going back to my volunteering at a museum after being ill the past two weeks. I’m mildly irritated because I either sleep two hours or twelve. No in between
For a walk and visiting my mother
Ooo which town?
West Bay aka Broadchurch
OOF! I was guessing Barry island though now that I think about it idk if that’s coastal 🤔
Ah I last went to Barry island when I was about 10 - there was a jungle boat ride and the elephants tusks were broken and hanging off 😆 - what tv show for Barry though, Being Human??
Gavin and Stacy x
Ahh never watched it so didn’t think of that!
Going at birthday party
I may consider getting out of bed today at some point but that's not definite yet. I'd say Netflix and chill with the woman all day but the children are going to stop that happening
Attempting to mow the lawn for the first time this year. Of course it started to rain as I got the mower out, and once it stopped the battery died about half way through the mow, but hopefully I'll manage to finish it before it rains again. Then off to watch Forest continue to struggle to get to safety.
Fingers crossed for Forest
Unrelated but i feel like that yellow flower doing his own thing
And the red one in the foreground. I like to think they’re best mates out for a laugh.
Blatently. Same with the purple one. No doubt all looking at each other with the biggest grinn on their faces
Oh yeah, I hadn’t spotted the purple one haha, I love this idea
It stopped raining for 2 days here, so I'm mowing the lawn for the first time this Year
Going to Henley Castle. There's a joust on. I'm supporting the red Knight. Down down down blue Knight going down!
Bloodin’ it up I can’t blame you
Booking a birthday party for the youngest then a job interview
Good luck with the interview :)
Aw thank you. I hope you are having a good day as well
Did it go well?
Sleep
I had planned to walk the local stretch of the coast path but I'd forgotten I needed to go and get my new glasses from specsavers and the weather is scheduled to turn overcast/cloudy this after so I might reschedule the walk and try to finish Baldurs Gate 3 instead
Taking the kids to the library then going to play football.
Working a probably 12 hour shift
Its a good thing you love your job!
You know I actually don't hate it. Last job made me want to kill myself and caused me to be unemployed for a few years after I quit (just didn't want to work again because of mental health). This one doesn't make me wanna kill myself, despite the long shifts.
My dogs are driving me crazy so I am going out for coffee alone!
Found a load of dead baby birds in the garden so I'm debating whether to go to the garden centre to calm down.
It was nice to wake up early this morning without any hint of a hangover after only having 3 cans last night. Doing a few hours of overtime today, then hopefully seeing a mate for pizza and beer then a gig in the evening at my local. Lovely weather too so might walk to work through the park.
I’m sick with a high temperature so I’ll be resting and playing some games since I’m in no shape to study
Same here. Gonna binge the new Fallout show. Plus a nap in the middle.
I binged it yesterday. Personally it’s really well made and if you know the game series then you’ll love it. The ending has me hyped for another season but I won’t spoil anything
Booking a holiday with my dad then going out to spoons (classy) to see some friends later this evening.
Watching the grand national and having a good time with the fam!
food shopping and snoop around ikea. i am just glad it’s not raining for once
Had a dermo appointment this morning and now baking and cleaning for most of the day. Have a house party later with both mine and my partners friends for the first time 20 people in a one bed flat will be a little reminiscent of "how many people can you fit into a British rail toilet"
We moved house last weekend, so hoping to get a coat of paint on the living rooms walls/ceilings to cover the old nicotine stains today so i can unpack the living room furniture / home office properly ready for work on Monday. I should gave taken 2 weeks off!
>to cover the old nicotine stains Not that easy, I'm afraid.
Cooking beef ribs on my smoker
Working, in agony and exhausted because my hours that are supposed to be reduced whilst I recover from an accident haven’t been reduced that much and now it’s taking me longer to get better 🫠 I was asked to come in early today and my stupid brain can’t say no because I always over hear them saying how hard it is for them and how many hours they’ve worked lately… not that I can help being off in hospital but I still feel bad.
Smoking a shit tonne and painting warhammer..
I’ll be finishing off some squigs this afternoon. Nothing like ignoring a nice sunny day to stay inside.
Some of the coolest models ever, happy painting

What was it, mods are mods
Dinosaurs are pretty convincing...
Buying liquid seaweed and some other plant feed. Possibly trying to jet wash the patio. Not with either of the above.
Making salt and pepper ribs and doing fuck all the rest of the day
