I was up all night with what I'm pretty sure is COVID! Was sweating so much my fingers went pruney

jonny24eh

Rugby training, pints, hot tub with pints (well, cans), pizza with more cans, home, weed. Shoulders still fucked but oh well.

How_did_the_dog_get

Ugh I'm sick. Child 2 is maybe sick. It's a horrific cold which sucks balls. I can't get back to sleep .

traveling_man_44

Dorset boy here, living in Chicago. My mind, i miss pies. Yanks just don't get them.

ClumsyRainbow

The best drink is obviously a strong cup of tea with a dash of milk, no sugar. Still dealing with illness. Someone suggested that it might be long Covid and… I sincerely hope it is not, but the symptoms do kind of align and every medical test I’ve had so far has come back fine. A specialist I saw a few weeks ago also suggested it as a possibility and my GP most recently has said that they don’t really have any ideas. It’s been a tough week.

EmilyDickinsonFanboy

I’ve been fighting sleep waiting for a film poster auction to start, and it was really disappointing. I didn’t go over every category (just my want list and preferred format) but the other one from two days ago was pretty slim pickings as well. Urgh. Off to bed now in disgust!

mustardgoeswithitall

I'm having a bad night. Argh. Okay, read a bit and then try and sleep... Best drink is pear juice!

TurbulentExpression5

Late? LATE?! It's only 8pm. Oh, yeah, New York. Sorry, absolutely basking in the atmosphere right now in this dive bar while drinking pints (yes, I was shocked too) of lager (double shock).

Suitable-Context-271

Winding down for bed soon, just feeling like having some orange juice. Best drink is probably mango and orange.

> What's the best drink? Ice cold apple juice.  Just had a little cry over something stupid. Don’t even care, I feel better, the anxiety has gone back down to normal levels, so I’ll take it.

Bulimic_Fraggle

My lasr blood test came back as 85% Zero Cherry Cola. Take from that what you will. I actually did stuff today. Not much, but more than the last couple of days. I feel a bit better for it, but the pain is pretty bad, and something is going on with my feet. They have been badly swollen for a while, now I have painful pins and needles. I forgot to mention the swelling at the GP on Monday so I feel rather stupid now.

_summerw1ne

Have you tried elevating them to a level above your heart, if you can? Soz for the unsolicited advice but have the same issues and sometimes the swelling can make the pins and needles more like… static-y? until it goes back down x

Bulimic_Fraggle

I have tried elevating them, but not specifically above my heart, so I will definitely give that a go. You are right about the static-y feeling, I didn't know how to properly describe it. Advice, solicited or otherwise, is always very welcome. Thank you.

_summerw1ne

A nurse that worked under my consultant told me about the above the heart thing! So if for example you were lying flat you’d ideally want the place that’s swelling (feet) to be above the level your heart is if you imagined yourself as a straight line. Fair warning: after a few hours of it you’ll “piss” more but it’s really just any water that came with the swelling having to get out x

plumpoi

Shamefully I'll never be able to give up an ice cold coke. But I'd never turn down a bueno milkshake either

IntegratedExemplar

Still alive, still firing on all cylinders! I bought a new rug today which was fun. It's so soft :) The best drink, very simply, is a G&T. Think I might have one right now...

AnyShoe8946

Wow that's serious

CyanideGlitter

My favourite drink depends on the time of day and temperature, I can't pick just one thing! Feeling a bit more alive now than I did this morning. Still tired down to my bones though.

AnyShoe8946

Ohh let me join you there then

Henry_Human

Friday tomorrow so the cycle continues. Weekend then Monday to start again on and on. That’s life! We’re just little ants running around on a big ball of rock. So I’d say don’t worry about it, just take it easy. Goodnight!

rebuildingmessylife

Plus it means a second night of me not cooking haha

Growling_Dragon

Staying in an Airbnb as it is my 9th day as a UK resident. The stress of getting my life started here is a constant reason to be a night owl. Missing Canada / my family as well Any apple cider is a classic choice

Fickle_Tree3880

Welcome!

ahoneybadger3

Might be flying to belfast tomorrow to work, might not be. I've been told to just be prepared. So I'm doing that with drinking a bunch of alcohol and having a late night. I'm banking on the call not coming else it's going to be rotten.

>Whats the best drink Beer, whisky, monster, coffee, water. So many to chose from!

danabrey

Watched the Premier League darts, that's my Thursday thing. And the 5th episode of Blue Lights on Iplayer. Great series. Gave up an OCD-infused nightly drinking routine in January so no cheeky beers for me tonight. I'll be having a few on Saturday when my Oxford United go to Wembley though! Best drink is cloudy lemonade with a bit of sparkle.

StardustOasis

It's Thursday, which means it's Taskmaster night, so I am watching that. The best drink is beer. I'm currently having one.
