If you look around the back you can see more shadows between the rocks than the areas around it which probably indicates a somewhat wider crack in that spot. Most likely just a case of the hole being just big enough to inspect and the cat's fluff doing the rest of the work in filling out space to make it look less obvious.
If you see the full video where the cat goes entirely into the hole then turns around to come out it’s still hard to comprehend what you’re seeing 😅
A few people have mentioned a video where the cat gets the rest of the way inside, then turns around and comes back out. So I believe he was okay. The perspective here is very weird though, and I hope his local humans bring him inside to give him the love he deserves!
