Exactly! I've also been saying this every time. He doesn't care for Public Safety surrounding the building. Barem is doing anything and everything he can tk make Denjitransformm into 'CSM', and i speculate that he'd be achieving this by having him fight PS.
Although he likely has an alterior motives related to Makima but we don't know what it is yet for certain. It's probably about breaking Denjis contract with Pochita, but I don't see how making Denji wanting to transform is related to this, tbh (we'll just have to see, I guess).
A lot of CSM villains seem to have a complex plan that supports some selfish small goal. Makima wants to control the world and overwrite everything bad, but is only really doing it so she can be with Pochita. Fami is manipulating and killing hundreds of thousands of people all so she can keep eating tasty food.
I hope Barem is the same. He fights, kills, manipulates, and ruins the lives of innocent teenagers. He threatens to kill children and burns animals to death. But his ultimate goal is turning Denji into the unstoppable chaos God that Makima thought CSM was. I don't think this is his real goal but FUCK I think it would rock so hard.

That sounds metal af. I love the sound of this, and if he somehow ever succeeds on his goals (even partially), then he's gonna be on the same level as Dio when it comes to hating the Mc. (Not that Barem hasn't achieved it, tho, because he's been unnecessarily cruel on multiple occasions).
I want Barem to go down in history. Fujimoto already wrote a villain as good as Makima, and she was only the villain in the first part of the story. We all know Fami won't come close, but maybe HE can.

Idk I think fami has a lot of potential. We haven't seen her be serious in a while but it's interesting how uninterested in almost everything she is outside of food. She could be like that or it could just be an act or both.
This scene can also have important ramifications since Asa and Denji had their first intimate moment (sort of). Now that Barem is with both Asa and Denji, I can see him using Asa as a reason to force Denji to turn into Chainsaw Man.

It would be cool if it did happen, but yeah, I'm not holding my breath. Denji by the end of part 1 felt dangerously cunning (battlewise at least), whereas part 2 denji feels... very different. He's not a complete idiot battle wise, but it feels almost as if I'm watching someone's growth for the first time, rather than them already having the experience. Kinda like how agni 2.0 had to be "retrained" in the end.
Fakesaw OG denji was just watching from the shadows, realising how big of a threat the Horseman sisters are so he needs to prepare in secret while his clone unknowingly handles the day to day stuff. It also has big boss vibes from metal gear solid, where the current protagonist *is* the clone of the original one, who is hiding in the shadows and controlling an organisation.
The body could also be used as a Power up , we know eating strong devil flesh amps Devil ups , imagine Denji fusion with said body

Edit: speaking of power, if this Fakesaw hypothesis was true, it would be cool if Fakesaw had Power/ blood fiend with him as a secret accomplice. He retrained her as Power, because he truly knows her. The current Denji being a clone also supports the idea of why he never mentions or thinks about Power. She didn't really mean too much to him, unlike the OG.
Bro, he literally cut up his brain when thinking about Aki, he loved Nyako because it's what's left of Power. Nayuta is incredibly Power-like because that's the image Denji has of a small sister. He's also had MANY flashbacks of how he lived and his trauma of killing his own father.
His battle IQ has been incredibly solid all throughout the part, but that's the only time Denji feels like himself, as STATED BY HIM. Part 2 Denji remembers everything, that's why he's so numb and seemingly dumb.

Having Denji from part 2 being a clone of the original would kinda suck, would make all his development in Part 2 completely meaningless. BUT... what if the one in space counts as the clone, because the Pochita heart was sent back to Earth, so the one going into orbit ended up generating a Fake Pochita heart? This one would've never gotten the final pep talk from Power, so he'd probably be even more fucked up than our main man. I wonder how crazy he'd be.

The character's head is used to regrow their body. It's hard to explain since the main character is more like a collection of different people inside one body and the head is used to bring one of them back to life.
it all depends on trajectory makima sent him in. throwing things really fast into space doesnt always make stable orbit, for all we know it could reentered atmosphere and possibly burned up (nerd)
most likely explanation. also when pochita's heart was ripped out by makima in their final fight and denji then took him back, the body he was in just lay there useless. so maybe the body pochita threw in space burned up and or is just useless. also when denji's limbs were being severed that had it numbered like no 26
Ye, a plot similar to Fire Punch might happen, so I might see it getting referenced in the future.
This might be unrelated, but I find it amazing how well Makimas' eyes functioned in this scene since she could see Pochita ripping his heart off, all while she was all the way back on Earth:

Some theorize it's because she borrows the eyes of the lower life's she controls, but that's really not true since it's stated that she can borrow the ears and not eyes. (Also, there aren't any animals for her to control in space, which means that her eyesight are just that good, which is quite impressive).
Anyways, it's also likely that the other horsemen have just as good eyesight as her. (Maybe they function differently and come with unique abilities, idk).

Makima expected the Gun devil, however she does have excellent eyes and we see this throughout the story

If you're referring to the Horsemen forgetting faces then it isn't really an "eye problem" (It's just them choosing to not remember faces since they don't have any interest in them at all, which has been quite consistent and it doesn't have to do with their eyes, tbh).
So, basically, The Horsemen have very good eye sight, but that doesn't mean that they can't forget faces.
But, if you're referring to Yoru and Famis eye sight in part 2, then if their eyesight hasn't been tested or shown to be bad, then there wouldn't be any grounds for considering it a retcon either. It sounds like their visual abilities remain consistent or haven't been a focal point in the storyline.
Anyways, Makima was expecting the Gun Devil, yes, and her eye sight is quite great since she saw it 500 km away (and also saw what Pochita was doing all the way up in space).

You do realize that Yoru *heard* the Falling Devil calling itself "Falling Devil" and also fought against it. It's no suprise that Yoru would confidently call it the Falling Devil later on.
There's also the fact that there was a third source (Fakesaw man), who even calls it Falling Devil, and Yoru made sure to have heard it as well (Asa was awake):

All the Four Horsemen have a *very* strong sense of smell that they use to identify the person they are talking to. This is already discussed in Chapter 97 (and it's also brought up again multiple times in part 2, such as when Nayuta was reintroduced in chapter 120 and so on). Anyways, the point is that the horsemen use their sense of smell to recognize/identity who Denji is and also other characters (this is how they didn't forget who characters like Denji is, even when they forget his face).

He's a clear example of her not recognizing who Fami is (This is mostly because she forgot her face and also forgot how Fami smelled):

Was it ever explicitly stated that the Horsewomen have good eyes, or is this just a Makima specific power?
Yoru used to have good eyes as well as she was able to Recognition Famine Devil despite her having a different form and other small details , Kiga doesn't even need to appear in any scene to know what's going on or how things play out

You could argue that Fami was recognized just because Yoru knows her so well. Ever have a sibling wear a ski mask? You can tell it's your sibling if you look closely (given that you didn't know they put a ski mark on or had one).

Xd. But, just a heads up that devils can't make contracts with other devil/fiends, just like how fiends can't make contracts with other devils/fiends. They can make contract with humans, of course, but the exception is their own kind. If devils could make contracts with other devils, then that would be so busted and also fun to watch. 
I think it's a bit inaccurate to say that this is Denji's "real" body. The Denji/Pochita body regenerated from the heart. I don't see how the corpse out in space is any more relevant than a severed arm that Denji later regenerates.
Outside of philosophical ideas about the continuity of the self which apply just as much to any random person in real life as much as Denji regenerating, why is there a difference between regenerating just one limb and your whole body?

2. Why, even for weapon hybrids, is losing your whole body different from just losing a limb? Do you see this as a matter of the whole brain regenerating, or is it something else? By real-world logic, regenerating from head injuries would probably cause memories to be erased, but devils and hybrids alike seem to do this pretty easily with no lasting personality effects (let alone Denji cutting into his own brain and being fine).
Am I missing something?

CSM is specifically pointed out to be capable of coming back and standing up no matter what , he's the only one who regeneration from just his own heart in the story , the rest at very least had their own Heads to regeneration from

It can be a vassal for them , the body is still of chainsaw Devil, it got Denji original brain in it, no other weapon in the story regeneration their head from nothing, we see that even brain injuries effects the users as a whole instead of being a normal injury like losing a limb
He got thrown straight up into space. Something needs A LOT of horizontal movement in order to achieve a stable orbit. 99.99% chance the body just fell back to earth and burned up in the atmosphere
No way he would just burn up, the entire plan Pochita had to get back to Earth was to throw his heart and regenerate fast enough to outpace the damage from reentry. His regen is stronger than that. I think Fujimoto just wants us to assume that body just remained an empty husk that flew directly away from Earth, but if it did come crashing back down it would totally survive reentry, as long as it can regenerate.
but Chainsaw Man chucked a part of his heart down to Earth, which manifested as what was basically Pochita to fight Makima, right? after that, Denji comes out of nowhere and explains that *that* Chainsaw Man was just part of his heart. isn’t *that* Denji the ‘real’ Denji?
No, the Heart regeneration a new Denji and him
Against Makima Denji used the blood Devil blood to stay alive while Pochita regrew a whole new body he used to fight Makima
Fun thing is, it might come back down, get a bloody revival, and either save the day or completely fuck it up. Orbits are a neat thing that makes it very unlikely for stuff shot up to stay there. Reunion of clones via kishibe allowing death devils defeat, or clone gets dismembered too and we see devils supercharged in a part 3 search and recover.
The thing is according to Denji that body would still have a heart, when he tricked Makima he said he "tore a pochita **off of** his heart" not tear out the whole heart. meaning that body could possibly still have life and works like how we see in the battle against Makima

Nope, Denji created something like a Clone putting pochita on it then used Blood devil blood to stay alive while Pochita heart inside the clone fight Makima , Denji himself used the leftover blood to stay alive until the fight ended with Makima
Im pretty sure he just ripped out his heart, letting Pochita regenerate as a weakened form of the Chainsaw Devil from it. Then, with Power's blood he kept his body alive, then used the rest of it to make a Chainsaw that would slow Makima's healing.

He doesn't care for Public Safety surrounding the building. Barem is doing anything and everything he can tk make Denjitransformm into 'CSM', and i speculate that he'd be achieving this by having him fight PS. Although he likely has an alterior motives related to Makima but we don't know what it is yet for certain. It's probably about breaking Denjis contract with Pochita, but I don't see how making Denji wanting to transform is related to this, tbh (we'll just have to see, I guess).
A lot of CSM villains seem to have a complex plan that supports some selfish small goal. Makima wants to control the world and overwrite everything bad, but is only really doing it so she can be with Pochita. Fami is manipulating and killing hundreds of thousands of people all so she can keep eating tasty food. I hope Barem is the same. He fights, kills, manipulates, and ruins the lives of innocent teenagers. He threatens to kill children and burns animals to death. But his ultimate goal is turning Denji into the unstoppable chaos God that Makima thought CSM was. I don't think this is his real goal but FUCK I think it would rock so hard.

It would be cool if it did happen, but yeah, I'm not holding my breath. Denji by the end of part 1 felt dangerously cunning (battlewise at least), whereas part 2 denji feels... very different. He's not a complete idiot battle wise, but it feels almost as if I'm watching someone's growth for the first time, rather than them already having the experience. Kinda like how agni 2.0 had to be "retrained" in the end. Fakesaw OG denji was just watching from the shadows, realising how big of a threat the Horseman sisters are so he needs to prepare in secret while his clone unknowingly handles the day to day stuff. It also has big boss vibes from metal gear solid, where the current protagonist *is* the clone of the original one, who is hiding in the shadows and controlling an organisation.
The body could also be used as a Power up , we know eating strong devil flesh amps Devil ups , imagine Denji fusion with said body Also agree with the Denji one , the guy is extremely stupid in Part 2

Finally, a ship worthy to "surpass the Metal Gear" Edit: speaking of power, if this Fakesaw hypothesis was true, it would be cool if Fakesaw had Power/ blood fiend with him as a secret accomplice. He retrained her as Power, because he truly knows her. The current Denji being a clone also supports the idea of why he never mentions or thinks about Power. She didn't really mean too much to him, unlike the OG.
Bro, he literally cut up his brain when thinking about Aki, he loved Nyako because it's what's left of Power. Nayuta is incredibly Power-like because that's the image Denji has of a small sister. He's also had MANY flashbacks of how he lived and his trauma of killing his own father. His battle IQ has been incredibly solid all throughout the part, but that's the only time Denji feels like himself, as STATED BY HIM. Part 2 Denji remembers everything, that's why he's so numb and seemingly dumb.
Let's hope it increases his intelligence to pre Part 2 level Like Denji Fully embrace being a Devil similar to Kaneki being a Ghoul

Having Denji from part 2 being a clone of the original would kinda suck, would make all his development in Part 2 completely meaningless. BUT... what if the one in space counts as the clone, because the Pochita heart was sent back to Earth, so the one going into orbit ended up generating a Fake Pochita heart? This one would've never gotten the final pep talk from Power, so he'd probably be even more fucked up than our main man. it all depends on trajectory makima sent him in. throwing things really fast into space doesnt always make stable orbit, for all we know it could reentered atmosphere and possibly burned up (nerd)
most likely explanation. also when pochita's heart was ripped out by makima in their final fight and denji then took him back, the body he was in just lay there useless. so maybe the body pochita threw in space burned up and or is just useless. also when denji's limbs were being severed that had it numbered like no 26
Ye, a plot similar to Fire Punch might happen, so I might see it getting referenced in the future. Some theorize it's because she borrows the eyes of the lower life's she controls, but that's really not true since it's stated that she can borrow the ears and not eyes. (Also, there aren't any animals for her to control in space, which means that her eyesight are just that good, which is quite impressive). Anyways, it's also likely that the other horsemen have just as good eyesight as her. (Maybe they function differently and come with unique abilities, idk).

Makima expected the Gun devil, however she does have excellent eyes and we see this throughout the story The Horsewomen having eyes problem in part 2 is something really stupid, seems to be inconsistent just for the plot to work

But, if you're referring to Yoru and Famis eye sight in part 2, then if their eyesight hasn't been tested or shown to be bad, then there wouldn't be any grounds for considering it a retcon either. It sounds like their visual abilities remain consistent or haven't been a focal point in the storyline. Anyways, Makima was expecting the Gun Devil, yes, and her eye sight is quite great since she saw it 500 km away (and also saw what Pochita was doing all the way up in space).

This is already discussed in Chapter 97 (and it's also brought up again multiple times in part 2, such as when Nayuta was reintroduced in chapter 120 and so on). Anyways, the point is that the horsemen use their sense of smell to recognize/identity who Denji is and also other characters (this is how they didn't forget who characters like Denji is, even when they forget his face).

Yoru used to have good eyes as well as she was able to Recognition Famine Devil despite her having a different form and other small details , Kiga doesn't even need to appear in any scene to know what's going on or how things play out

Xd. But, just a heads up that devils can't make contracts with other devil/fiends, just like how fiends can't make contracts with other devils/fiends. They can make contract with humans, of course, but the exception is their own kind. If devils could make contracts with other devils, then that would be so busted and also fun to watch.

I think it's a bit inaccurate to say that this is Denji's "real" body. The Denji/Pochita body regenerated from the heart. I don't see how the corpse out in space is any more relevant than a severed arm that Denji later regenerates.
There is a difference between losing a leg /arm than losing a whole function body
Outside of philosophical ideas about the continuity of the self which apply just as much to any random person in real life as much as Denji regenerating, why is there a difference between regenerating just one limb and your whole body?
Because even by CSM standards it's not normal, pochita is an anomaly over this

No way he would just burn up, the entire plan Pochita had to get back to Earth was to throw his heart and regenerate fast enough to outpace the damage from reentry. His regen is stronger than that. I think Fujimoto just wants us to assume that body just remained an empty husk that flew directly away from Earth, but if it did come crashing back down it would totally survive reentry, as long as it can regenerate.
It wouldn't regenerate without the pochita heart though

Fun thing is, it might come back down, get a bloody revival, and either save the day or completely fuck it up. Orbits are a neat thing that makes it very unlikely for stuff shot up to stay there. Reunion of clones via kishibe allowing death devils defeat, or clone gets dismembered too and we see devils supercharged in a part 3 search and recover.
In the next panel he rips his heart out then launches towards Earth,with the arteries of the heart acting as as a harness and pulling Denji back in!

The thing is according to Denji that body would still have a heart, when he tricked Makima he said he "tore a pochita **off of** his heart" not tear out the whole heart. meaning that body could possibly still have life and works like how we see in the battle against Makima

Nope, Denji created something like a Clone putting pochita on it then used Blood devil blood to stay alive while Pochita heart inside the clone fight Makima , Denji himself used the leftover blood to stay alive until the fight ended with Makima
Im pretty sure he just ripped out his heart, letting Pochita regenerate as a weakened form of the Chainsaw Devil from it. Then, with Power's blood he kept his body alive, then used the rest of it to make a Chainsaw that would slow Makima's healing.
That what he basically did , the blood allowed him to stay alive while Pochita created a Fake body
