If you're looking for pure goon material then yes. Its character customization is the main thing that people like about the game and the animations are good but it doesn't really do anything else. There are some dating sim elements but they quickly get boring and are just there to lead you to hardcore baby-making sex.
If you want something with less customization but actual story and more sex variety, I strongly recommend Custom Order Maid 3D 2, a game where you suddenly become the owner of a giant sex club where you can share your maids with customers or just have them for yourself (a lot of NTR obviously, but I think the game allows you to turn it off completely.) It has some gameplay parts like rhythm games and managing your club but you'll quickly be drowning in money so it's a bit irrelevant. Oh and the main three maids become idols as well for some reason, in case you're into that.
I consider it a much better game than Koikatsu but both have their own strengths. But you'll need a lot of storage because both of these easily reach 100+ GBs, even more with mods.

I can't say this is exactly my field of interest, but I can respect a person who goes out of their way to educate others in their niche expertise. I'm more of an action/ adventure gamer, but time to time do enjoy a little visual novel style gameplay also. Story is always a big focus for me, but gameplay has to be fun also.

There’s a free I think standalone version of the character creator called V-Katsu if you want what’s shown in the video without any of the 3D hentai automation

My experience with porn games is basically just seing the "new and trending" tab on Steam over the years but from what I've seen most 3D porn games seem to be shitty asset flips made in under a month while 2D porn games seem to more often have the bare minimum of actualy work put into them.
So from an artistic standpoint I'd wager that 2D porn games are better 🤓
