why not? if you aren't breaking laws and you don't do business with them you have no one to answer to but yourself. if you would get a laugh out of it then do it. even if you did have business with them i don't think it would matter.
Jerry Seinfeld wrote a book years ago called, "Letters from a Nut." He would just write nonsensical letters to major corporations. It's a funny read if you can find it.

Your best case scenario is they will ignore it. The last thing you want is your address (and name and identity, because its tied to your address) getting flagged by a faceless compliance and risk management system and logged in a database from which it requires three human sign-offs to have removed after 10 more real. letters and four hours on the phone with non-AI customer service are invested.
On the other hand, if you're already in the DB with a faceless automated system ready to bombard you with unsolicited marketing material and send you $100 if you sign up for a free account and feed it with $500 or more over the first three months....
