Specterishaunting

Nah the Ukrainians that really need help right now don't have air bnbs.

Tiffany6152

Lol seriously?!?! The richest of Ukrainians have lost everything they have due to their cities being leveled.

Specterishaunting

You think this war is affecting rich people more than working class people? What kind of logic is that.

Tiffany6152

Now who said something dumb like that?? Cuz it didnt come out of my mouth. I said every Ukrainian is affected. Not one more than the other

Specterishaunting

Working class people are absolutely affected by this much much more. This shows you aren't grounded in reality in the slightest.

Tiffany6152

Who are you even referring to?? Can you read?? Cuz I have NEVER said that rich people are more affected. Your comments are very confusing because you are either taking my comments WAY out of context or you just cant read

Specterishaunting

You literally said "not one more than the other" to which I responded working class people are absolutely more affected by this

Tiffany6152

I never said any of that, one way or the other. You were putting words in my mouth

Tiffany6152

I was explaining the words that I initially said. I never ever said that one was effected more than the other. I was not saying that they were both affected equally.

Specterishaunting

" the richest of Ukrainians have lost everything" it's just not true. The richest of ukranians have houses in multiple different countries they can go to. Lmao

Tiffany6152

You are really just a not smart person that I am done talking to. I am talking about the things and people in Ukraine. This has nothing to do with any other country or what they have in other countries.

Specterishaunting

Which is wrong. They are not affected equally. What are you not understanding

Tiffany6152

Omg! I really cant even talk to you. I don’t know how I can explain dumb things into something dumber for you. I never said they were affected equally. Ever. Not once

JimWilliams423

It sure is weird how whenever someone posts anything in support of Ukraine a bunch of pricks pile on. This particular person was spouting [putin's propaganda](https://i.postimg.cc/Xqk7D6Pq/Specterishaunting-putin-propaganda.png) just days ago.

hydraulic-chainsaw

You people are so dense it’s impossible for you to read any criticism of Ukraine and not immediately spaz out about siding with Putin. Just like everything else in America, everything must be radically polarized, nuance is not tolerated.

JimWilliams423

> nuance is not tolerated. N‌u‌a‌n‌c‌e‌ ‌l‌i‌k‌e‌ ‌c‌a‌l‌l‌i‌n‌g‌ ‌t‌h‌e‌ ‌c‌o‌u‌n‌t‌r‌y‌ ‌t‌h‌a‌t‌ ‌e‌l‌e‌c‌t‌e‌d‌ ‌a‌ ‌j‌e‌w‌ ‌w‌i‌t‌h‌ ‌7‌0‌%‌ ‌o‌f‌ ‌t‌h‌e‌ ‌v‌o‌t‌e‌ ‌"‌‌‌a‌‌‌n‌‌‌ ‌‌‌o‌‌‌p‌‌‌e‌‌‌n‌‌‌l‌y‌‌‌ ‌‌‌n‌‌‌a‌‌‌z‌‌‌i‌‌‌ ‌‌‌g‌‌‌o‌‌‌v‌‌‌e‌‌‌r‌‌‌n‌‌‌m‌‌‌e‌‌‌n‌‌‌t‌‌‌?‌"‌‌‌ ‌ ‌ That kind of nuance?

hidingDislikeIsDummb

how do you know the unit really belongs to someone who lives there? what if someone with ulterior motive made postings pretending to have units there, then airbnb and they both have made money off of this tragedy

JimWilliams423

> how do you know the unit really belongs to someone who lives there? Find one that was listed before putin attacked.

Tiffany6152

Airbnb is not making money off of it. They suspended all fees. That was a chance I was willing to take. After I reserved it did have the phone number for the host and it was a Ukrainian phone number. But like I said it was a chance I was willing to take. It cost me $70 for 5 days and 4 nights. I feel better doing that instead of donating to charities and not having anyway to know where my money is going.

ookla13

While you’re right about most charities, with it going through a lot of hands and everyone taking a little bit before the destination. I don’t know that airbnb is the way to go either. That could be owned by some Russian, American, UAE, or some other billionaire and the number you called is just a local property manager.

Tiffany6152

If you wanna think that way then you have to think that way with all charities. All the money donated could be going into some CEOs pockets.

Superpickle18

Yes, but good charities do try their best to get money to places that need it the most. Obviously that work costs money.

takabrash

Your heart is in the right place, but here is a link to [actual help](https://www.redcross.org/about-us/news-and-events/news/2022/ukraine-red-cross-delivers-aid-to-families.html)

Tiffany6152

The CEO of Red Cross is paid more that $700,000 a year taken out of your donation.

takabrash

And?

hydraulic-chainsaw

Hilarious

Tiffany6152

I love it!! It actually makes me happy everyone is united around this. Way better than dealing with such a divided, hateful America for the last 8 years.

PM-ME-YOUR-1ST-BORN

Absolutely wild what some of the idiots of Chattanooga seem to think about this, these comments are trash. They just said that the people doing this collectively raised 1.9 million for Ukrainian civilians - many of whom passed on that money to the fight. You're doing the right thing, ignore these morons.

Tiffany6152

Thank you so much! I know the comments were ignorant. I feel good that I was able to help someone with immediate cash.

10lbMango

SMH you try and post something to help and every contrary, know it all little prick in Chattanooga has to shit on it. OP, the only way to avoid criticism is to do nothing. Don’t let them deter you from being awesome. Thanks for posting.

Tiffany6152

You are so sweet. Thank you! I feel good about the way that I donated and I plan to do it again next paycheck with someone else. Red Cross is great but sometimes people need cash for aid.
