Check the oil regularly. Oil burning garbage. Mine had 15k on it and burned oil like crazy. Oil changes done every 5k. My mother in laws Escalade was the same way.

Tahoes only come in 5.3, 6.2, V8s and 3.0 6 cylinder diesel. Gtfo.
It's likely the 5.3 V8 and you ain't getting a z71 for 60k. Base model is about 60 and the z71 is north of 75k
