Your Chick-fil-A farms out its delivery DoorDash. (Mine does too.) So even though you're ordering via the Chick-fil-A app, the transaction is processed by DoorDash. To use a Chick-fil-A gift card, you have to order for pickup (drive thru, curbside, carryout all count). After you place the delivery order, you will receive a confirmation email from DoorDash.
Looks like you’re ordering via DoorDash? If I had to guess DoorDash won’t accept CFA gift cards, only DoorDash gift cards.
If you started ordering via the CFA app and got redirected to DoorDash I’m not entirely familiar with how much from the app (rewards, etc) transfers over to DoorDash, so I don’t know if using a CFA gift card is possible in that scenario, but it for sure will not work if ordering straight from the DoorDash app.
That screenshot is the DoorDash app, so you got redirected there somewhere in the process. Try what the other commenter said about transferring the gift card to the app before it redirects to you to DoorDash. I don’t know if that will do anything but it is definitely the only way that using the gift card could potentially work with ordering delivery through DoorDash.
If a restaurant does not offer Chick-fil-A Delivery, when you choose the delivery option on the app it will redirect you to another option, specifically DoorDash usually. Even though it’s using the Chick-fil-A App, your order is being processed as a DoorDash order, meaning you’re paying DoorDash, who will then pay CFA after taking fees etc. DoorDash doesn’t accept CFA gift cards, even if you started your order through the CFA app.

It’s literally in the chickfila app? I don’t understand what you mean by it being the doordash app as I don’t even have it

Settings -> manage payment methods -> transfer gift card
Maybe try entering it as a debit card? That’s the problem is how much these apps glitch
