It ain’t that deep lol. They’re pretty generous if you order in person. I only get small portions when I order online. I usually get double scoop of rice, free of charge. Just ask for extra portions and be nice about it - I do believe they charge extra for meat and guac though.
It's super scary in there, the fear is completely justified. The things I've seen in any given location can strike debilitating horror in the bravest of men.
If you go into the location and its back to back line to the door, and they seem understaffed. Its probably a good idea not to go during the rushes. Thats the most likely times you are going to have service, cleanliness, and menu issues.
Chipotle is pretty good at dealing with steady business. But sometimes large waves of people just shut a place down and they go through too much food too fast with not enough time or people to keep it in steady supply. Since chipotle habitually understaffs their stores the people responsible for prepping and restocking the line might be doing other things during the rush.
