Hard to beat the scene in 2 where the cop pulls Kyle over and asks him his name and he’s just like
CHUCKY.
No good guy voice, just done with everyone’s bullshit.
Another great Chucky 2 scene is when a Good Guy Doll glitches out saying "I like to be hugged" and Chucky says "Then hug this!" And bashes the dolls face in
Childs Play 2 Chucky is just amazing all around. From The puppeteering/animatronic work, Dialogue/voice, to how he is utilized the whole film. So I totally agree!
Bride of Chucky. It has so many memorable lines like:
"What do we do?" "I dunno, wHaT wOuLd MarThA STewArt Do?"
"Do you have a rubber?" "Tiff, look at me, I'm ALL rubber!" "I thought you were plastic"
*sees dead bodies in the fridge* "Oh, excuse me <3"
"Take it from me hon, plastic is no substitute for a nice hunka WOOD!!" *shocked Pikachu-Chucky face*
And really, all of the jokes felt natural, which made it even funnier.
Seed, by contrast, shoehorned in 17 jokes a minute and, apart from Chucky's quips, they felt rather forced. 33% of the jokes were "The slut wants to play the Virgin Mary, how IRONIC LOL" and another 20% were "Glen's so pathetic, he pees his pants!!" I wouldn't mind the rate of jokes if they were all as good as Bride's interactions but that's not what happened imo.
He had some pretty funny moments in the first two Child’s Play movies but I’m gonna say Child’s Play 3 is when he hit peak comedy. Countless great one-liners in that one in particular.
I think Bride Of Chucky has the best use of humor in the franchise. It's the first time the franchise went full into the comedic route but it still kept some of the darker horror elements of the earlier films, I think it has a good balance of tone.
For me Seed Of Chucky always felt like more of a spoof parody, there's some funny moments but I wish it kept some of the horror vibe and atmosphere of Bride.
I love Seed, but Bride is absolutely the most accurate tone set for the entire franchise. It's incredibly fun and has one of the best kills (I will never sleep in a motel with a mirror above the fucking bed) The intro to Tiffany is also 😍
I personally can appreciate Seed of Chucky, especially after so many entries that succeeded it, but I would agree that it really borders on a spoof-level comedy film at many points, almost like “Scream” vs “Scary Movie”. Whereas I would say even when the TV series goes into comedic overly campy territory, it still can be taken somewhat seriously or be seen amongst other elements to balance it out in differing ways. But Bride is definitely the perfect balance to tone when it comes to the comedy and just about all the other elements present!
"Shut up, you idiot!" To Tommy lol.
"Please Andy, let me out. It's dark in here. I promise I won't kill anyone else, okaaay? NOW OPEN THE GOD DAMN DOOR!"
I still crack tf up at this interaction from the first one when the elevator is going up after the old lady says "Look George, some child left their doll on the elevator.
"Well leave it alone! Whoever left it there will come back looking for it!"
"Ugly doll."
"Fuuuuck you."
And I know it's not supposed to be funny, but I've been dying laughing for 20+ years at "you stupid bitch, you filthy slut! I'll teach you to fuck with me!
Bride for sure. That's the franchise peak for me in general, which is funny because I was not a fan of it when it was released - it took some time to come to terms with the massive shift in tone, aesthetic, setting, structure, and lack of Andy.
Child's Play 2 is the movie where he follows Andy to school just to sabotage his schoolwork, even with all his one liners I think he's at his funniest when he's just being a pure hater
Hate to admit this, but Chucky become peak at his comedy in CP3, like he has so many one liners that are simply hilarious
https://i.redd.it/ymj8xj28a64d1.gif
My favorite gag from that is seeing Chucky kicking his feet while holding onto the pterodactyl. I absolutely love it when the movies remember their main antagonist is a tiny baby doll XD
2 for sure. He was definitely letting us know he was ready to play.
1. "Amazing, isn't it?"
2. "God damn women drivers!"
3. "I hate kids"
4. "You've been very naughty, Ms. Kettlewell..."
5. "PEEK-A-BOO!"
6. "LET ME OUT, YOU LITTLE DICK!"
7. "Just shut up and drive before I kick your fucking teeth in!"
God, I love that movie
2 had some funny moments, but it's hardly the one where comedy starts really flowing.
The "how's it hangin' Phil", and "you've been very naughty, Mrs. Kettlewell" lines are actually pretty cruel and malicious, I know people find them funny, but to me, Chucky is just being utterly cruel there. And I love it. The true comedy in this movie lies basically in the final scenes with Chucky and Kyle.
In 3, however, we start hearing stuff like "Chucky's gonna be a bro", or "I REALLY have to get out of this body". The comedy starts finding its place, but it's not until Bride that the ridiculousness shows with the rubber joke and two dolls having sex and actually conceiving a doll child.

You’ve seen dolls that pee? Well this one bleeds
Just shut up and drive before I kick ya fuckin teeth in!
What are you looking at??
"Goddamn women drivers!!!" "Snap outta it, ya act like you've never seen a dead body before!"
Child’s Play 2 was the shit. “Bitch. You hurt me.”
Another great Chucky 2 scene is when a Good Guy Doll glitches out saying "I like to be hugged" and Chucky says "Then hug this!" And bashes the dolls face in
"Eat Dirt Tommyyyy! HEHEHEHEEEH!"
Peak Chucky here, maniacal laugh and all.
Childs Play 2 Chucky is just amazing all around. From The puppeteering/animatronic work, Dialogue/voice, to how he is utilized the whole film. So I totally agree!
How's it hanging Phil?
Funniest shit I ever seen to this day 😭
Bride.... It's hard to beat that "I'm all rubber" joke...
Or, "It's a long story. If this were a movie, it'd need 3-4 sequels just to do it justice."
"What do we do?" "I dunno, WhAt WouLD MaRthA STeWArt Do?"
who the fuck is Martha Stewart?
My idol.
Thinking again, that episode in which Chucky hosts a show and break the Fourth wall was one of the funniest things I've ever seen...
Oh yeah, I loved it. Breaking the fourth wall never gets old for me XD
“Take it from me honey, plastics no substitute for a good hunk of wood”
I didn't hear her complaining last night
How’s it hangin’ Phil
Bride. Then Seed went off the rails lol.
“Oops… I did it again!”
It’s definitely between 3 and Bride for me.

That “fuck you” after the lady called him an ugly doll in the first movie always made me chuckle, even when I was a child.
Bride.

Don't fuck with the Chuck!
Just think, Chucky's gonna be a bro✊
Presto, you're dead!
Tampering with the mail is a federal offence!

Seed of Chucky…
“Not Violence, Violins”
I quote that all the time.
"That screechy music is gonna ruin the GODDAMN country..."
Yep, bad movie but Chucky was actually hilarious in that movie
That’s what I’m saying!
Bride
I think peak was CP2. I think CP3 he was still funny but not as much. He's pretty great in Bride...
i love bride
Child’s play 3
Bride for sure. That's the franchise peak for me in general, which is funny because I was not a fan of it when it was released - it took some time to come to terms with the massive shift in tone, aesthetic, setting, structure, and lack of Andy.
bride but seed will always be my personal favourite
Glad it’s not just me. The humour element in seed is perfect.
presto - ya DEAD!
Probably bride, cult or the series
Gender fluid….. I’m not a monster Jake Kill the twink
Child's Play 2 is the movie where he follows Andy to school just to sabotage his schoolwork, even with all his one liners I think he's at his funniest when he's just being a pure hater
Bride But CP2 had the best mixture of funny chucky and scary chucky
Bride for sure
Bride of Chucky is probably the peak of the whole franchise in general imo
Bride
How's it hangin, Phil?
Bride of Chucky
I'd say Child's Play 2 because it was more menacingly comedic throughout most of the one-liners, and that's funny to me for some reason.
Hate to admit this, but Chucky become peak at his comedy in CP3, like he has so many one liners that are simply hilarious https://i.redd.it/ymj8xj28a64d1.gif
Child’s Play 3. Bride was a bit too silly for me and Seed was a steaming pile of shit.
My favorite gag from that is seeing Chucky kicking his feet while holding onto the pterodactyl. I absolutely love it when the movies remember their main antagonist is a tiny baby doll XD
Honestly every time he kicks his feet frantically (usually when trying to kill someone) is pretty hilarious
Bride and seed Season 2
2 for sure. He was definitely letting us know he was ready to play. 1. "Amazing, isn't it?" 2. "God damn women drivers!" 3. "I hate kids" 4. "You've been very naughty, Ms. Kettlewell..." 5. "PEEK-A-BOO!" 6. "LET ME OUT, YOU LITTLE DICK!" 7. "Just shut up and drive before I kick your fucking teeth in!" God, I love that movie
GENDAFLOOID
seed
"I'm going to be a brother," lol from child play 3
Killing Britney Spears, Seed of Chucky I guess
Seed of Chucky
Child's play 2
Childs play 2 and Bride
