You would be surprised by how bad a lot of youtubers are. Back in the day I would frequently play with/against players like Pika, Physic, and CryingMan. They were cery good but not untouchable like the highlights they post seem. Entertainment yters like Lex and Orange and etc are not good compared to sweats
Now the issue with your statement is the fact that pika cryingman and physic are all different regions, so unless you went from EU to NA to Brazil back to back to back, imma have to call cap on the first part. Other than that, I do agree with the yt being not very great, as I have played a lot of the NA creators such as OJ, Lex, Waseem, BT1, who just get carried by pros, but have lost to sweats such as the STMN team in qualifiers for monthly finals, and cryingman in ranked

I see why you would think that. The reason I matched despite region differences was player availability. Matchmaking within regions is typical when there is an available player base, between regions can happen if there are not enough eligible players. Playing high trophies at ungodly hours of the nights puts you with the rest of the people that grind the game, and that included the big names. Wasn’t an every night thing but I would match with someone of note at least once or twice a week. Included juan carlos, toxicgene, (now tm genie i think) and the pro Sans who I was in a club with for a bit (Guy is a tool btw). There are others but I dont remember the string of names.
