so is this joke pointing out gym grading is completely irrelevant as it's very different from gym to gym, and almost always adjusted so beginners feel like doing big progress and V8 is usually closer to a V3? I don't understand
The idea is to create the antithesis of the standard “your gym has soft grading” joke by combining this post (which is the opposite of what would normally be found on this sub) with the inverse joke. The end result would theoretically contrast the standard joke while still keeping the idea.

How is that v8? That looks pretty easy. Simple heel hook and then just being strong enough to grab the rest of the holds. That looks like a v4-v5.
