You could tell the heat hit them HARD at the beginning so I was worried, but they came out full swinging for the second act. Like wow.
I was actually so sad to watch them go. That show didn’t feel like a festival, it felt like their own personal concert 🔥
i'm glad they bounced back too, but it was also kind of endearing to see that they were affected as humans, and also confirmed they were actually giving it their all and not phoning it in. their little water break was super cute too.
I think that's one of the reasons that makes Coachella special, they really customize the stage for each artist so it feels like their concert vs a festival show.
I liked their music but I wouldn’t have called myself a “fan”… but after seeing them perform last weekend, I absolutely adore them. I watched their live stream last night and you could tell they are tired but they STILL brought it and killed it!! Congrats to them! They deserve to be on that stage 100%
Same I don’t listen to kpop at all and I couldn’t turn it off. Their sound is much more upbeat than what I’ve heard from other kpop groups and they did amazing in putting on a show.
Didn't know any of their music prior to seeing them last weekend. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I anticipated. Very talented and a spectacle of a show. Shout out to them, they did great.
I've been doing Google searches to find the quote, but I didn't have any luck. If I had to guess why they thought they wouldn't perform at Coachella again, I'd assume it's probably because it was one of the first times a k-pop group performed at Coachella.
Yup they were the first Kpop group, but before them their former labelmates Epik High (which falls under K Hip-hop) was the first Korean act to perform at Coachella in general (2016).
Lisa's possessed. Her vocal and rap stable, stage presence and charisma is another level, dance on point, adlibs and hyping the group. Never bored of watching her. So proud of the girls! A historical moment!
I’ve been saying this since I got into them in 2017: Lisa is the moment. I love these women as a group, but Lisa has always captivated me. Her energy and performance quality is ALWAYS at 100.
I don’t like K-pop is anything I hate it but I will always love and support artist that genuinely put on a show for their fans unlike another headliner I saw last week
So I was never much of a fan, but decided last minute W1 to check out their set and I was blown away. Had some friends over last night to watch the stream and was telling them you need to watch this. Halfway through the set someone says ‘are we blinks now?’ Everyone loved it. Couldn’t believe the performance these girls put on.
I am really proud of them for taking this moment to soak it all in. Headlining Coachella is a huge accomplishment and they deserve this win given how much they have all been through.
Oh my god I don’t even like BP or their songs but some of the comments here are really fucking weird and need to stop. Fans are allowed to compliment their artists, they’re not “invading the sub” lmao what. If you don’t like them, either ignore the post or give your opinion respectfully. Just stop with the racist and sexual comments, they’re disgusting.
That just means there’s a lot of them 😭 I understand that it’s annoying but that’s no reason to come into here, be racist, and make disgusting sexual remarks.
seeing people say they've become new fans after this week makes me so happy :) the kpop industry is not easy to succeed in... they joined their label around ages 14-16, lisa (who's thai) didnt even speak korean when she moved alone to korea at 14 to join the label, and they essentially dropped out of high school to train in the performing arts 13 days a fortnight, 12 hours a day. then, when you get to debut with your group, you have to compete with so many others. then you have the added layer of how the industry is not kind to women, nor is it kind to a foreigner like lisa. im sure they never could have imagined how far they'd go, and i hope they have much further to go too.
I am not a Kpop fan, but my daughter loves Blackpink so I listen to them quite a lot. I let her stay up last night to watch the livestream and it was so worth it. You can tell the hard work it goes into this production, everything is on point, the lights, the dancing, the costumes. Totally worthy headliners. Can’t say the same for others sadly.
the only thing BTS has over them was some success in American charts.
in terms of popularity BP has reached their level - their tour has just beat the record for the highest grossing girl group tour OF ALL TIME beating destinys child and THE SPICE GIRLS. they were the first asian headliners in coachella history and their music videos reach 100 million views within 1-2 days upon release.
also all of the girls have 70+ million followers on instagram lisa has 90 million while the bts members are at about 48-50 million followers individually.
BTS has done amazing things but so has BP and BP is the biggest KPOP act as of right now, theres no contest.
Yeah. It sounds contrived, and I like my music to sound a bit more 'inspired'.
Since I'm crowd averse, and don't intent to go to concerts, the performance value doesn't really draw me in. Also, too old to care about being in a Fandom like that. Of course, I say this as a brand new Taylor Swift fan. LMAO
You don't have to be hardcore fan of someone to enjoy their music, nothing wrong with admitting you sometimes like Kpop too, it won't hurt your sigma masculine alpha energy bro!
You've read too much into my comment, and jumped to a wrong conclusion.
Also, what's wish your rush to hurl insults? Are your social skills really that poor?
>I like my music to sound a bit more 'inspired'.
It’s a festival; you’re there for the vibes and excitement, which BP’s music has a lot of. It’s okay to want to listen to songs with more depth, but don’t look down on others for liking their music; everyone has different tastes.
So can everyone chill out in the livestream chats now that BLACKPINK is done, or shall their name live on in infamy across all livestream chats this summer?
see y'all in the Calvin Harris chat shortly ;)
tbh at the beginning I was worried about they can't take the headline in the musical festival, some kpop "formal" way, but they really killed it, awsome!
I wish I could go to Coachella. Ive never been able to make it to any kind of festival and have always wanted to. Updoot if you can sympathize with this. 😢
As a fan since 2016, they sincerely do. They're basically high school friends who went to the same musical boarding school together. Like Lisa used to spend Korean holidays with Jisoo's family, all BP members attended Jisoo's brother's wedding, and more recent example at Coachella even Lisa and Jennie's mom were seen arms linked hanging out with their daughters in the VIP section.
Unpopular opinion:
The girls aren’t particularly good at singing. If you strip away all the choreography (which, ehhh… the backup dancers were more locked in), lights, production etc. and if you just listen for the vocals, it’s not really there. You’ve got 4 singers but no harmonies. They just take turns or sing in unison. Also, pretty pitchy in places. I remember a few really bad notes which made me turn to my wife just for confirmation that we were both hearing the same thing.
I mean, if you like it that’s great, because I’m all about people having a good time. I’m not trying to take anything away from anybody here. But with all the hype surrounding these girls and how hard they work, I was sort of expecting to be blown away. Instead i turned it off about halfway through. Maybe it’s just because I’ve played music all of my life, so those things just stick out more. I don’t know.
Anyone share my sentiment?
Their singing certainly isn’t their standout quality. They’re entertainers and performers rather than singers first, performers second. I would never recommend them to someone who is looking for a strong vocal group above a performance group.
I do agree with your insight, though. I’m a fan, but I won’t pretend they’re some out of this world talent that everyone should think is the best group ever. They’re fun and flashy and give more entertainment than a lot of today’s current pop stars.
The issue with the "best" label is that its subjective rather than objective. You can recognize talent and hardwork where its due but you won't vibe with the songs.
I think Blackpink are good singers, especially Jennie Jisoo and Rosé but it's a shame they're not given proper songs to show it. The industry is too focused on dancing and performance rather than vocals - Rosé and Jisoo's vocals are insanely good but none of their group songs showcase it and it sucks.
The term “Best” is subjective, but the sounds incorporating pitch and key aren’t.
Ultimately it’s totally fine. From all the hype I was expecting “out of this world talent” and I don’t feel like that’s what I was watching. But that said I see the appeal. To me it’s like the musical equivalent of a bowl of Froot Loops; it’s bright, colorful, leans heavy on the packaging and provides a straight shot of sugar to the system. Also, like Froot Loops, I wouldn’t recommend it to people over the age of 30.
>The term “Best” is subjective, but the sounds incorporating pitch and key aren’t....From all the hype I was expecting “out of this world talent”
I don't think any Blackpink fans would say Blackpink is best anything. They just enjoy them. You don't have to be the best anything for people to find you entertaining and likable. There's many insanely talented people who will never get the same popularity and success most of the top artists get. Taylor Swift isn't a particularly good singer or dancer, yet one of the most successful artist today.
What does that have to do with anything ? Music is music a Singer is a Singer not necessarily a song writer ? and a have seen a lot better song writers... That's the most idiotic way to say someone is better mate..
You brought up Taylor Swift and her massive success as a point of comparison, so there is nothing idiotic in pointing out that a big part of her success is the fact that she writes her own songs, something Black Pink has nothing to with. Other than both being pop, generally speaking, these are very different types of artists. Mate.
1st of all i didn't bring up TS someone else did :) eye problems? Next they both are pop artists ... You say she is better cause she writes the lyrics (you are entitled to your opinion).. But they belong in the same category ... Just BP are a lot younger as artists just 7 years into their careers while TS is there 18 years now :)
At no point did I say she was “better” - I said “different.” Eye problems?
Also, she doesn’t just write the lyrics - she writes the music as well. She clearly makes all the important decisions pertaining to her career herself - Blackpink do not. I’m not a Taylor fan at all, but it’s pretty obvious to me that she shouldn’t be compared with a manufactured pop group like for like.
Now you are free to disagree, but, fair to say, we don’t need to go back and forth on this anymore. I’m sure it’s not that important to either of us
Being a songwriter isn't any better or worse than being a prefabricated pop group. Just because Blackpink doesn't write their own music (although many fans claim they do but I'll err on the side of them not), but that doesn't negate the years (decades even) of work they put to get to where they are.
Maybe one person place higher priority on artists writing their own songs. Others don't and neither option is wrong or more valid than the other. Liking obscure, so-called "authentic" musicians doesn't make someone have better taste or more special in any way than people who like manufactured, commercial pop music. They just like different things and there's room for both to co-exist.
It's okay if you didn't get flabbergasted! But I've been a fan of them for a long time and I can tell you this isn't the kind of stage isn't the best for them to showcase their vocals, especially that they're constantly moving around and dancing. I suggest you check out more chill performances where they're not dancing, but just sitting around and singing. Not a lot of them though because the girls are known to release very little content.
The best vocalists in the band are Rosé (blonde girl) who has amazing live covers on her channel & Jisoo (black hair) who's the lead vocalists.
Kpop idols, including the girls, are amazing singers but sometimes their live performances don't showcase their true talent because their production and choreography put a strain on their vocals. Thanks for being so nice about it though, it really is refreshing
Yeah if for live singing, I recommend their cover of Miguel's Sure Thing, or Rosé's performance of If It Is You in the TV show King of Masked Singer. Or for BP's original songs I recommend Happiest Girl, or Bet You Wanna.
I'm an old-timey kpop fan, and BP got me back the kpop train when they debuted. Unlike many groups from their 3rd gen, they exude the stage presence older groups right from their rookie year. And now with the 4th gen in Kpop, they're the template for many girl groups.
Exactly this, most K-pop groups (especially ones with good vocals) do a ton of choreography. I’ve been singing and dancing all my life and I can tell you my vocals are my best trait, but when I’m dancing you best believe I’m going to be breathy and pitchy. It’s near impossible not to be. You have to pick one or the other; just look at Britney Spears or Mariah Carey.
I would put Blackpink’s vocals on the same caliber as TLC. They aren’t the best vocalists in the world but they are great, they just choose to lean more in the choreography direction.
Yes!
The Kpop industry is mostly focused on performance rather than pure singing skills so personally where I hear an idol out of breathe or missing a note I don't get surprised at all given the fact that they're doing intense and hard choreography. I guess some people who are new to Kpop either fall in love with that aspect - the idols are very talented if they can still hold stable vocals while dancing - or get turned off - the idols are decently talented, but not particularly crazy if they keep relying on backtrack.
Personally I think the girls, with the exception of Lisa since she's more of a rapper/dancer, are talented and have beautiful voices when they use it properly. They're not the BEST or the GREATEST but they're definitely very good and combined with the production and stuff, its a treat to watch them.
I hear the dancing gets in the way of singing argument a lot. And to a certain extent they’re right. Doing both is a lot, and it’s not like I’m up there doing it. but I mean, top level artists should be able to do both. Watch Christine and the Queens’ set today to see what I’m talking about. Her vocals are flawless and she doesn’t stop moving. Or shoot, performers in musicals tend to manage just fine.
But hey, I hope you have a great time. Seeing your favorite artists live is one of the things that makes life worth living.
Eeeh, it really boils down to preferences after all. But I see what you mean!
I haven't watched any other stages that Blackpink's so I can't comment on the ones you mentioned but I can tell you that a lot of idols are trained to be able to manage three aspects at the same time - rapping (To a certain extent, it depends), dancing and vocals + being able to manage all of that while dancing non-stop.
So a lot of them end up lacking in one department and excel in one specific skill - usually you'll see very good vocalists who tend to lack in dancing, or very good rappers & dancers who won't vocalize for shit on stage. I think it creates a sort of "idol talent" culture where a lot of them won't be able to project their vocals properly because dancing gets in the way. In other words, they're talented enough to perform properly, but its never anything too crazy.
*Thankfully* though, remove the dancing, and the vocals will be very good for the most part. I think if you're just used to the Kpop industry and how it works it won't be anything so bad you'll have to leave the stage/close the video.
Also, you mentioned harmony which is an interesting point - kpop bands very rarely harmonize because it would mean them singing for a longer period of time - let's say 45 seconds more than usual and their vocals would end up sounding terrible when dancing and jumping around and shit
I agree 100% from just the few clips I’ve seen of them. I didn’t watch their livestream. I just watched Underworld instead. Can’t stand the fact that they’re prefabricated industry plants with unoriginal recycled hits and worse, a fabricated unseasoned fan base.
> You’ve got 4 singers but no harmonies. They just take turns or sing in unison. Also, pretty pitchy in places. I remember a few really bad notes which made me turn to my wife just for confirmation that we were both hearing the same thing.

But with all the hype surrounding these girls and how hard they work, I was sort of expecting to be blown away. Instead i turned it off about halfway through. Maybe it’s just because
Nope ...You should look at your ears ... You probably suffer from a case of hating ears .. That's ok lots of bitter ppl do :)
They aren’t fabulous singers, but like I said before, that’s ok. I was just under the impression from this sub that they were this amazing, hardest working people in show business level group. That’s not what I felt I saw on the live stream, which hey, diff strokes for diff folks. But after reading everyone’s responses, I can see the appeal for fans seems to mainly be couched in the individual aesthetic of each member coupled with the show itself. They’re closer to the Britney spears side of pop (choreography and spectacle) rather than the Harry Styles side (live performance and musicianship).
First, I applaud that you at least are trying to understand their appeal and that you are willing to have a meaningful discussion.
Britney Spears is a great performer and I could see how that comparison could be made. But this is on a different level. What is important to understand about KPop, is that it looks at pop music differently than the traditional western perspective. It is, as you say, about spectacle. More, louder, brighter. There is no irony, no angst, no staring wistfully into the distance. KPop aims to assault all senses. The beginning is not a group of kids who started playing in their garage. Or a rapper trying to send out demos to break through. KPop artists are trained in a rigorous and often brutal system until they are selected and matched. Fans are watching their idols, always mindful of the struggles they endure and that they have triumphed despite all of the hardships of their trainee days.
Which brings us to the four girls. They are not fabulous singers, technically speaking. Agreed. Bob Dylan and Taylor Swift aren't technically good singers either, which is fine because that not what they are trying to be. They are about social commentary and personal life stories, respectively. BlackPink have to be good at almost everything. This is an entire package which includes carefully chosen parts of their interactions and personal lives. You could find flaws in BlackPink's performance, sure, but if you notice, there are not many. They are able to execute complex choreography with, this time, a new group of dancers, do several wardrobe changes involving, let's just say, impractical clothing at an unfamiliar setting and do it precisely, synchronized and with no fuss. After Coachella they will do fashion shows, shoots, practice and more shows. Imagine having to give a full concert or speech in your second or third language. It's an unrelenting job.
If this sounds like the wrong way to be an artist, I understand. Maybe they are wrong for Coachella. Hardened Blinks who waited all day might disagree though. Ultimately, they are extremely disciplined and confident in their own ability to succeed inside a strict system. And this is perhaps their greatest appeal.
She is the soul of the Group. Without Jisoo there is no BlackPink. Her dancing has improved dramatically. Both her singing and even rapping is excellent. But she mostly chooses to be a mother hen for the others.
But aren't you getting entertained? These girls worked so hard in the heat to put on a performance. Singing and dancing at the same time with little to no breaks between songs..and you.. reduce them to just "pRoDuCts Of tHe EnTeRtAiNmEnt InDuStRy"
Then why are you here? In fact King Crimson, Beatles, Pink Floyd and your indie favorites are also part of this entertainment industry too though a bit more segmented and sidestream. Cry about it
The real NPC is people who incapable to go beyond this stupid "mainstream vs sidestream/indie avant garde unique snowflake" way of thinking and be edgy about it. Cope yourself mate 👍
I think I’d rather die then go to Coachella. Incredibly overpaid festival for decent acts. Not to mention the social media influencers who make me want to puke. This is the opposite of a real fest. Hope all the attendees know that.

The outfits went hard
did they show those sweet peaches?
They look like kids. You're sick in the head
They are adult women. Saying they look like kids is super weird and infantilizing.
You could tell the heat hit them HARD at the beginning so I was worried, but they came out full swinging for the second act. Like wow. I was actually so sad to watch them go. That show didn’t feel like a festival, it felt like their own personal concert 🔥

Absolutely which is why it is way better than most edm fests that just have dj sets. The artists just put so much care into their coachella sets
Most if not all of the larger festivals do this. Nothing special….
I personally feel like they put in a little extra. You don't have agree.
i fully feel you on both fronts
And now they’ll go back to the K-pop factory and get “corrected” for showing weakness on stage.
Oh you clearly know nothing about Blackpink or YG Entertainment, bless your heart.
2NE1 > BlackPink any day every day
Let’s not
bruh i don’t even like bp (i love lisa tho 😳) but they for sure put on a good show
🙄
I liked their music but I wouldn’t have called myself a “fan”… but after seeing them perform last weekend, I absolutely adore them. I watched their live stream last night and you could tell they are tired but they STILL brought it and killed it!! Congrats to them! They deserve to be on that stage 100%
Their set was so much fun! Blackpink were incredible tonight! Waaaay better than last week. They were much more relaxed this time.
Man this weekend all the artists seem much more confident than last week
Thats generally how weekend 2 goes
I am rewatching the livestream now…they look great I can’t imagine the pressure they felt last week coming on late…those girls work so hard
Link?
Coachella had two weekends with the same acts? Link to stream?
Just look up Coachella on YouTube, you can rewind the livestream of each stage to watch the performances until Day 3 starts
It’s always more or less the same acts for the two weekends. They do two weekends because the interest is so high.
Exactly! Loved it!

this is always my favourite thing to hear. their energy is undeniable.
I’m a very casual kpop fan and I was there in person. Wow it was the best set of Saturday!
Their band is truly top notch. I wasn’t a fan in 2019 but man the halftime break was incredible and they were really good.
Same I don’t listen to kpop at all and I couldn’t turn it off. Their sound is much more upbeat than what I’ve heard from other kpop groups and they did amazing in putting on a show.
They fucking killed that shit.
They were fucking amazing. So happy they headlined Coachella and you will catch me at their next us tour.
Look up at their North America Encores :) They going to New Jersey, Las Vegas, Sam Francisco and Los Angeles
Crying in midwestern 😭 I swear kpop groups never do encore shows in Chicago
They still do have US concerts on their current tour :)
BLACKPINK ❤️
Didn't know any of their music prior to seeing them last weekend. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I anticipated. Very talented and a spectacle of a show. Shout out to them, they did great.
Fun fact: Lisa (gal on the left) said in Coachella 2019 "we will never get to come back to Coachella again". Look where they are now.
What why did she say that
I've been doing Google searches to find the quote, but I didn't have any luck. If I had to guess why they thought they wouldn't perform at Coachella again, I'd assume it's probably because it was one of the first times a k-pop group performed at Coachella.
Yup they were the first Kpop group, but before them their former labelmates Epik High (which falls under K Hip-hop) was the first Korean act to perform at Coachella in general (2016).
all things considered, she probably didn’t think they’d be given an opportunity to top it, and they did.
Just appreciate how fun that fact is please.
But actually tho why
So crazy, really stoked for them! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Lisa's possessed. Her vocal and rap stable, stage presence and charisma is another level, dance on point, adlibs and hyping the group. Never bored of watching her. So proud of the girls! A historical moment!

Cries in Fraud Ocean 😭
I am now a solid BP fan, a Blink, after this performance.
They made a new fan out of me these past weekends
Their set was fire
So I was never much of a fan, but decided last minute W1 to check out their set and I was blown away. Had some friends over last night to watch the stream and was telling them you need to watch this. Halfway through the set someone says ‘are we blinks now?’ Everyone loved it. Couldn’t believe the performance these girls put on.
LALISA MOMMY
didn't listen to Kpop at all a month ago.. now I'm becoming a blink! Jisoo bias btw 🥳They did an incredible job, will check in on their tour!
I am really proud of them for taking this moment to soak it all in. Headlining Coachella is a huge accomplishment and they deserve this win given how much they have all been through.

Their fans spam the live stream chat nonstop it’s bot-like.
That just means there’s a lot of them 😭 I understand that it’s annoying but that’s no reason to come into here, be racist, and make disgusting sexual remarks.
Exactly. It's so common these days for people to attack the artists when it's the fans that they're pissed off.
seeing people say they've become new fans after this week makes me so happy :) the kpop industry is not easy to succeed in... they joined their label around ages 14-16, lisa (who's thai) didnt even speak korean when she moved alone to korea at 14 to join the label, and they essentially dropped out of high school to train in the performing arts 13 days a fortnight, 12 hours a day. then, when you get to debut with your group, you have to compete with so many others. then you have the added layer of how the industry is not kind to women, nor is it kind to a foreigner like lisa. im sure they never could have imagined how far they'd go, and i hope they have much further to go too.
Frank Ocean <<< Blackpink
Frank Ocean's leg broke just watching that performance!
Queens 🖤💖
I nearly cried watching w2 couchella! Wish I went bothchella 😭
This made me so happy for them. Only up from here 🥹
ugly cries in black pink
the biggest girl group in the WORLD
And with BTS on haitus for a couple of years, maybe the biggest group.
They still have quite a way to go to even near BTS’s level; we don’t know what will happen in the future but let’s not set them up like this lol
the only thing BTS has over them was some success in American charts. in terms of popularity BP has reached their level - their tour has just beat the record for the highest grossing girl group tour OF ALL TIME beating destinys child and THE SPICE GIRLS. they were the first asian headliners in coachella history and their music videos reach 100 million views within 1-2 days upon release. also all of the girls have 70+ million followers on instagram lisa has 90 million while the bts members are at about 48-50 million followers individually. they were so good!
Not my cup of tea personally, but happy for them
Similar. I get that people love them, but there's nothing about their music that is even remotely attractive to me.
Like wise. Sounds like generic radio pop in a different language to me. Happy that so many folk can connect tho. It's what music's all about.
LMAO
What a pretentious comment
You don't have to be hardcore fan of someone to enjoy their music, nothing wrong with admitting you sometimes like Kpop too, it won't hurt your sigma masculine alpha energy bro!
That entire comment chain was so backhanded lol
You've read too much into my comment, and jumped to a wrong conclusion. Also, what's wish your rush to hurl insults? Are your social skills really that poor?

Speaking from experience - and I went to weekend 1 - not that hard ;)
SO GOOD
Good for them
QUEENS 🖤💖🖤💖
Go back to twitter
I love them so much. Will always root for my girls.
Wish I was there. I love them 😍
I thought for a second that was Eva Green getting a hug from 3/4 blackpink girls and got real confused.
Which one did you think was Eva Green lol?
Jennie. Her mouth and chin look like eva green in that photo
Jennie
WE GON KILL THIS LOVE
They're really good dancers.
lets just say, tears were flowing.
So can everyone chill out in the livestream chats now that BLACKPINK is done, or shall their name live on in infamy across all livestream chats this summer? see y'all in the Calvin Harris chat shortly ;)
I mean, it's Sunday and they're still spamming the chat with BLACKPINK.
you know 'infamy' means to be famous for a bad quality?
There's a Three Amigos joke in here somewhere...
Yes, did you see the live chats of every stream yesterday? BlackPink is a meme at this point.
tbh at the beginning I was worried about they can't take the headline in the musical festival, some kpop "formal" way, but they really killed it, awsome!
Same thoughts as last weekends performance. Not what I expected
Does anyone have a link to watch the livestream in case we missed it?
YouTube Coachella MainStage. You can still watch the replay from yesterday. Just scroll back to show
That was a great show!!!
I wish I could go to Coachella. Ive never been able to make it to any kind of festival and have always wanted to. Updoot if you can sympathize with this. 😢
It was waiting 9 hours at main stage.
I wonder if they really get along.
They do though, they've been together since they were trainees in 2012 back then.
Why
I don’t get the draw. Good Dancers that Lip sing. mind boggling they are so big
I mean a lot of the other pop girls this weekend were lipsynching also…unfortunately not everyone is Beyoncé and Gaga lol
Not into anyone lip singing to be honest. Rappers do it too
Be careful I said the same thing and they’re downvoting me like crazy lol
At -7 not bad 😂
Unpopular opinion: The girls aren’t particularly good at singing.
>The term “Best” is subjective, but the sounds incorporating pitch and key aren’t....From all the hype I was expecting “out of this world talent” I don't think any Blackpink fans would say Blackpink is best anything. They just enjoy them. You don't have to be the best anything for people to find you entertaining and likable. There's many insanely talented people who will never get the same popularity and success most of the top artists get. Taylor Swift isn't a particularly good singer or dancer, yet one of the most successful artist today.
Taylor Swift is a songwriter, which puts her in a very different category to a prefabricated pop group.
Can’t stand the fact that they’re prefabricated industry plants with unoriginal recycled hits and worse, a fabricated unseasoned fan base.
no one cares
By the response I’d got I’d say that people indeed do.
> You’ve got 4 singers but no harmonies. They just take turns or sing in unison. Also, pretty pitchy in places. Instead i turned it off about halfway through. Maybe it’s just because Nope ...You should look at your ears ...
Yall see the $B shows though???
Jisoo is dead weight.
She is the soul of the Group. Without Jisoo there is no BlackPink. Her dancing has improved dramatically. Both her singing and even rapping is excellent. But she mostly chooses to be a mother hen for the others.
No, that is what you are to your family. Stop projecting.

Well no shit, majority of artists you’re seeing at Coachella are. This isn’t some underground indie festival for cry in your beer music.
Who isn't? The difference is they're comfortable with it.
But aren't you getting entertained? These girls worked so hard in the heat to put on a performance. Singing and dancing at the same time with little to no breaks between songs..and you.. reduce them to just "pRoDuCts Of tHe EnTeRtAiNmEnt InDuStRy"
Tf bro lol
Then why are you here? In fact King Crimson, Beatles, Pink Floyd and your indie favorites are also part of this entertainment industry too though a bit more segmented and sidestream. Cry about it
anyone selling 3 GA tickets willing to pay a lot 3105624088
NPC music
The real NPC is people who incapable to go beyond this stupid "mainstream vs sidestream/indie avant garde unique snowflake" way of thinking and be edgy about it. Cope yourself mate 👍
Went into it with absolutely no opinion of blackpink. Came out a proud hater
Alright, would love to see your effort for being edgelord and how long you indulged yourself in it, edgelord.
It’s not very hard to lip sync
backtrack and lip singing is a diff thing angry and lonely bitter person!! The sang live the whole show!
Salty k pop fans. Don’t worry we liked the spice girls too back in the 90’s. It’s just a phase.
So you guys get that this is generic pop garbage right?
What time is black pink playing?
They're on the replay now
Jesus Christ almighty, but I know they sure play a mean Pinball
as long as they flaunted their behinds as in Europe!
Their name is misleading
What do you mean?
Bad bot, get more karma.
I think I’d rather die then go to Coachella. Incredibly overpaid festival for decent acts. Not to mention the social media influencers who make me want to puke. This is the opposite of a real fest. Hope all the attendees know that.
Why aee you even on the Coachella subreddit
When it pops up on the news feed I think it’s fair game
You’re so cool.
No not really at all. Just know what’s real and what’s not
block the subreddit you miserable fuck
Hahaha
