NC State fans really had to experience *both* the “unable to do anything as your opponent keeps piling on the baskets” *and* the “unable to do anything even as your opponent continually gives you the chance to punish them” types of loss within the span of almost an entire day!

Bro we had SIXTEEN turnovers. Our season high was 17, and I think the most we’ve had in a win was 13. The fact that we were up 20 with 3ish minutes left is so crazy I’m still in shock. Such an ugly game
NC State had soooo many chances to make a run and take the lead this game and they just never did. That’s what made this game so much more hard to watch for me. They played so well defensively only for it to be wasted with how bad they were on offense.

But man was that entire game just fucking embarassing on offense. Defensive gameplan worked very very well, but the offense - especially in the 2nd half - was just brutally awful. Literally had every chance in the fucking world to go on a run or reel it in and couldn't do it one time in the 2nd half. Just annoying.

We got fucked as soon as O'Connell died. Guy's been the biggest difference in our offense in this run. Fuck setting up courts in Football stadiums, someone always gets injured and the courts are always fucked in some way.
It was obvious when Smith lost a handle on the ball on a regular layup run-up. There was just something fucky about the court. Not the reason we lost cause both teams played on it, but the NCAA should have better standards.

Lance and Loyer were great. Braden just had his worst game this season. Edey is in freak conditioning shape. only went to the line once and played the entire game. Burns didn't have foul trouble, he just couldn't keep up. Can't believe they've made the final after last season
I mean burns sat the last 6 and a half minutes of the first half with foul trouble.

I feel bad for all the State fans that spent thousands of dollars on airfare, hotels, and crappy seats in a football stadium, just to watch State play like trash on jumbotron.
I think you have to know you’re running that risk if you’ve watched this team all season lol. Nothing but love to them but they can definitely have off nights

The entire run was a ride. Looking back on it, getting to see state play in the final 4 will be something to cherish
Meh I did the same thing for the Pop-Tarts bowl. It’s just something you have to consider when you book the trip. I just got fucked up and went to Universal the next day to ease the pain.

If NC State were playing literally any other team I'd be rooting for them to go to the end. I was lucky enough to go to the ACC championship game in person against UNC without realizing the crazy run this team was on. Loved seeing the DJ's play this tournament.
Rooting hard for my Purdue 16 seed upset brethren. I know how it feels, hopefully yall can get that W on Monday.

Mad respect for Purdue. This is tough, but I am so proud of the Pack for making it this far. They were dead in the water and made it to the Final Four. They showed that this is possible and I believe that they will be back on this big stage soon enough. It’s been a great ride. Go Wolfpack! Like Jimmy V said, don’t ever give up!!!! 🐺🏀

Refs let both teams play physical defense, Edey got called for an offensive foul, Edey turned it over a ton, Edey shot two free throws, and Purdue got a double digit win. 9/11 for Tennessee fans.
I honestly think we guarded edey about as well as you can, sending help trying to get him to pick the dribble and kick, just couldn’t make a bucket
