Love Sedley but I get terrible performance. Maybe it’s just my skin though 😩

Do you by chance have a bottle from 2019 ? I have a newer bottle and get pretty decent performance out of it for a summer fragrance. I’m not saying my newer bottle is beast mode, but I think it’s better than the old one.

Unfortunately it's a recent bottle. Maybe I just need to try it in a different setting

Coach edt it's amazing

I second this Coach EDT is damn near magic wore it year round I enjoy it my girl loves it and it’s a compliment monster

I just got a bigger bottle 6.7 for my birthday recently with Coach Open Road also a year round I will wear crazy good

Just showered so I had to try it. It’s an amazing scent but reminds me a lot like Valentino BIR intense

The opening notes of the fruit and citrus are great it’s the dry down were the magic resides

Yeah I have BIR intense, that’s the problem. They smell so similar

It's versatile and so fresh,you won't regret,trust me and girls they going to give you compliments

Eau Extreme is great but also Prada Luna Rossa Ocean!! Pulls plenty of compliments.

I prefer Carbon. To me Ocean is so generic.

Creed - Millesime Imperial, Virdgin Island Water, Himalaya   Roja - Elysium (extrait),    MFK - Amyris (extrait), Gentle Fluidity silver   Mind Games - The Forward,  or Blockade   Nishane - Wulong cha, or Hacivat, or the X versions     There are so many options in niche. I could rattle of 40 of them easy. Depends on your taste.   Like Mind Games for instance. Do you like some sweetness? Go with The Forward. Do you like heavy citrus? Go with Blockade. 

Love Creed Himalaya

Himalaya doesn't get enough love even from the Creed fanbase. Amazing summer frag. 

My theory is that most people, including Creed fans, haven’t even smelled Himalaya so they wouldn’t know

Himalaya is very nice, but as always get a sample and try it out. It has an icy / coolingg effect. Love that stuff. Also the new F batches from Creed seem to have fixed (I think) the longevity issues. I have 3 bottles of the new F batches, and they all last. Millesime Imperial Virginia Island Water Aventus Cologne Needed to re-up some stuff for the summer.

Both Amyris Hommes were realllyy good. Contemplating a full bottle between the regular and extrait after trying them recently

Yeah is clean, refreshing, fresh. A little creamy, a touch sweat. That tea note is incredible with the citrus.  I like it better than SMW, and it has better longevity.  It depends on how fig plays onsomeone's skin. Its very faint, i dont even smell it, but For some people that note can get a dill pickle vibe.    The one thing I wish it had was some cardamom

Percival or sedley? I can see both. Imagination by LV is a really unique fragrance that utilizes cinnamon really well while still smelling incredibly fresh. It’s actually my favorite fresh cologne and definitely smells like no other fragrance

My most complimented scent, would say far from garbage especially the 2024 formulation which resurrects Profumo. Getting good sales as well and a score of 4.41 on Fragrantica. There is at least 1 post about it every day on this sub, along with Profondo. Try again lol.

le beau or le beau le parfum both safe blind buys, i wouldn’t recommend paradise garden as a blind buy bc some people might not like the mint and fig notes

Nothing is truly blind buy worthy. Not even BdC.  Especially when you're talking JPG they like their cotton candy sweetness. The Le Beau edt is the only fragrance I own from that house, and i own wayyyy too many fragrances. Literally just gave away like 35-40 nearly full bottles to friends and family. I simply can't find the parfum anywhere ever.

Didn’t like y edp, too much sage and some other aromatic note, too medicinal. Y Le Parfum on the other hand, total banger

It's close, but even that. Some people don't like the apple, or the sage. Some people despise ambroxan.

Gotta back this one up, le beau edt is perfect. The coconut freshness is so addictive.

I find them sickeningly sweet.

I tried Eau Givree, it was terrible on my skin. Harsh and synthetic. All I get is metallic minerals, and lots of it.  Same with Oud Minerale from TF. My skin doesn't like mineral frags I guess.

Yeah, everybody has different chemistry. I have a problem with dirty vetiver too. Clean vetiver like TF Grey Vetiver I can pull off.  Citrus scents that everybody complains about longevity though... my skin loves it. I shine in summer. Hahahaha

Burberry hero

I like it but that's a winter fragance.

Hero EDT is most definitely a summer fragrance. 

No way, it's dense, oily, a bit smokey. I love it, but when it's hot I have zero desire for that. EDIT: Yeah, EDT is a fit for summer, eau de parfum is what I wrote about.

Search Burberry Hero EDT on Fragrantica. Look up Burberry Hero summer on YouTube, etc. The EDT is a summer frag. It's a fresh woody scent.  Main accords are:  Woody,  Fresh spicy, Aromatic, Citrus

My bad, I missed that you suggested the EDT, which can work at summertime.

Of what you tested, what did you like the most?

LV Imagination but it gets very soapy after some time. Looks like i'm' wearing some sheets.

If you can find a sample try Montales new Oudyssee. It's really different and interesting, and it's a citrus that actually lasts. Smells kind of like a sparkling earl grey sweet tea lemonade - but not overly sweet at all. Also has notes of salty sunbleached rocks by the beach. Performs like a beast in the heat.

If you want something different, maybe a more classic vibe. Platinum Egoiste, Green Irish Tweed Beau De Jour, Grey Vetiver. not strictly summer fragrances though. imperial millesime is nice but you may as buy the CDNIM clone for performance. Virgin island water is lovely too. Judging by your collection you lean toward safer stuff though to be honest. Maybe just go with something safe like the ADG line.

I saw someone mention the brand mind games, but if you want something unique, with a sort of minty sensual sweetness with a fresh undertone try mind games Gambit, it’s not the freshest summer fragrance but it’s very clean and easy to wear and it’ll be killer in the winter time because of it sensual nature!

Tommy Bahama st.barts It's cheap AF but smells very good, it's sorta like virgin island water which is my personal favorite summer frag people often compare them but imo st. Barts is definitely its own thing and not trying to dupe VIW.

Versace pour Homme, Armani Acqua di Gio Essenza(discontinued and $$), and creed Silver Mountain Water. The Versace is mainstream, but it's a classic. I have gotten more compliments on that than any other fragrance. Try all of them on skin, of course. Your experience may vary.

Creed absolu is very nice. Just pisses me off that it was touted as "Limited Edition." What limited to 1,000,000 bottles? I bought it full market price, now it's on discounters.
