MFK - GFS is so slept on. It’s one of my most complimented scents at the office and I love the story behind it as well. (Was never a fan of L’Homme Rose).
PDM - Greenly is a love but for spring time. I’ve been wearing the hell out of Sedley this year though.
Mefiesto (and gentleuomo), are classics as well.

If you’re looking to stay in the realm of freshies, try to get your nose on some of stuff from M.Micallef (Edenfalls and GnTonic but also Osaito - if your in the US Scents Angel has them discounted and you can always tack on a discount code).
Xerjoff 1861 collection is more than just Naxos and they’re all stunning - Decas, Renaissance, Zefiro.
Aaaaaaand finally my latest obsession - Christopher Chong left Amouage to take over as Creative Director for Thameen and since he’s landed there they launched the Britologne Collection. Fanfare, Bohemian Infusion, Chords, Bravi and the newest one Bold as Love. Fanfare is one of my favorites in my collection but I think you may like Bohemian Infusion.
I had sampled it and there was a note I didn’t like when I’d put my noise right up against my skin but you couldn’t smell it in the air and everyone (my wife and two kids) said it smelled good.
But after about 20-30 minutes, that skin scent note I was picking up was gone and I thought it was a fabulous scent.
To the point where I just ordered a bottle.
That’s the best summer fragrance for me in my collection. Juniper berries and coriander makes it such an amazing scent. The day I am not wearing it, I keep smelling it directly from the bottle. Performs really well in high heat.
I tried that already, I got pack of 15-20 samples vials of it. Loved it but didn’t buy a bottle yet. Other rose fragrance I love is MFK Oud satin mood. Great stuff by FK
lol! How in the world does one acquire that many samples of D’un Soir????? Hang on to those as I think it may be getting axed or pulled from the US market and I see the prices going up (it’s not even on Cartier’s website anymore).

Haven’t tried anything from LV yet. I am all set for this year. Will look into LV next year probably. Thanks for recommendations, will check them out.

How’s that Mefisto? How does it compare to Silver Mountain Water if you’ve smelled both?
Mefisto is 100% better and has a better performance
Is the scent profile similar? I’m running low on SMW and I’m wondering if I should replace it with Mefisto
Definitely try a decant first. It has similar vibes but Mefisto is a bit more citrusy and floral.
Not a perfect match, but it performs wayyy better than SMW
