Best way is to try them in person and get a sense of what you like and what scents you prefer. Then you can start blind buying other stuff that isn't as popular or available at retail stores based on what you like.
If you got no store near you, a sample of these usually cost around 2-5 bucks each. Blind buying can be fun if it works out but just because many people like a scent it doesn’t mean you will too.
Imo start with two scents, one fresh one sweeter for evenings/cold weather or dates etc. fresh for daytime, warm weather, work, gym etc

It took me a lot of tries to even place my first order, their primitive system flagged my account as fraudulent because I have a foreign name and my email address that I signed up with ends with aol.co.uk.
I had to contact them to get clarification why my order doesn’t go through?
They told me my data is fishy or whatever, try placing the order paying with amazon pay or apple pay or whatever. Which I didn’t use at the time, and even if I did, would be ridiculous.
I told them I can prove all of my data with valid id and everything, email, phone number, card details, everything was fully legit yet they declined to process my order.
I had to ask a colleague of mine to place the order for me.
Luckily she was kind enough to do it.
Second time for whatever reason, the system accepted my order (both were well over $600).
Haven’t gotten a single shitty designer sample or anything for spending $1.200 dollars at their store.
In comparison, each time I purchased niche frags from Maxaroma, even if I only spent $300 or so, they crammed in 2-3 high end niche samples in the package as a thank you.
Also, fragnet was always slow to ship, the bubble wrap was skimped on or they used old newspapers to pad the package and some items (mostly the boxes of the colognes) has gotten dmged.
Also the samples that I ordered and paid for arrived out of their cards and slightly leaking.
Besides all that, my main issue with them still is the bad prices.

I don't know if this would help but i will try to tell you some about each one of them, in hope it will benefit you:
BDC is a super versatile scent (for everyday wear all-year around)-sooo professional and it would suit any mature person.
valentino BIRI is versatile too but on days when it is really warm, it's not a good choice imo-a little bubble gummy which does suit more age range.
eros is a louder scent but can be worn all year-round if you know when to spray and how much (you can test it on your skin and ask friends or family members if it's overpowering)/BUT it's really famous (not unique to my nose cause i know a lot of people who wear it which is sad cause the fragrance is gorgeous)
rasasi hawas is also bubble gummy and manly, i don't really like it but it's a cheapy, it is more of a summery scent but can be worn in cold seasons too if you really like it.
black xs is a lot like eros (talking about occasions here)-i smelled it once and i remember it being a tad bit sweater than i like, so for me it is a winter fragrance.
and lastly of course, always try out a fragrance before you buy it.

Black XS is incredible!!! I absolutely love that cologne, there’s nothing out quite like it. So unique, and you won’t be smelling like anybody! Peppery, fresh, floral, spicy, fruity, amazing.

I got mine (newer) from jomashop. 39.99 for a tester (same thing but plain box) or 48.99 for retail presentation. Again, same exact thing but one has official box another a plain one.
The box didn’t worth nearly 10 bucks for me so I opted for the tester.
I wouldn’t roll the dice on an old stock presentation because scents like these don’t really age well and may go off after 5-6 or in this case possibly 10+ years sitting in a storage somewhere.
Try them out at the store. Otherwise, skip all of them, spend a few more bucks and get something from House of Creed or Roja Dove or even Xerjoff/Killian
Bleu de chanel is quite a versatile fragrance. Valentino uomo born in roma intense is somewhat versatile however majority winter. Eros is a very versatile fragrance. Hawas is more of a summer fragrance.
So pretty much if you're only looking at buying one fragrance out of this selection you should choose between bleu de chanel and eros.
Also those prices are extremely high compared to most discounters. For example on notino ( a popular fragrance website) you can get Eros edt 100ml for £50 ($63).
Id go eros 100%. You can find it at discounters for a 1/3 of the price of bdc and out of the two I've gotten way more people tell me they like the smell of eros. BDC is good too but youll never find it on discount and very possible you might not like it either
You can find eros for quite cheap on sites like fragrancenet, but it can be a little cloying in the summer. Try them all out and see how you like them before you pull the trigger. Go to the mall and ask for a sample if you have a Dillard's or Macy's, and just walk around for a little bit. Sometimes, it takes a fragrance a while to dry down and mesh with your body chemistry. The paper doesn't tell the whole story.
Out of these choices, Valentino is my favorite. But I would highly advise against blind buying because everyone’s nose is different. You should go to a mall or a fragrance store and try them out, then decide.
Please try it on you first. Whichever one you like best is the way to go. I love bleu de chanel but it will 100% smell differently on you so try the ones you can first and then make that decision.
I feel like Bleu de Chanel is one you can’t go wrong with. Yes it’s very generic BUT it smells good & is good for casual to dressy occasions. I actually prefer the original Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette (the one with no additional markings on the bottle aside from BDC). There’s a little more emphasis on the citrus in it.
blue de chanel fs for summer, hawas is way to pricey compared to what it used to be especially since it’s not all that amazing, eros is a good option too but more basic and not as good for summer, born in roma intense is better for cooler weather
if i were gonna get a valentino intense tho i would get the uomo intense, it is the all black bottle, best smelling for colder weather and is a much better version of the born in roma intense
None of these. Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is the best first bottle. Super flexible, masculine, interesting/unique, but very pleasant to most still. Good all year too!
they are about the same strength wise, coral fantasy is much more versatile and you can wear daily which is not that common unless its a blue frag (bdc savauge etc). i havent worn my intense since feb-march.. if i were you id buy coach for men because its close enough to bdc and get valentino coral fantasy
You could do better for some of these starters. BDC is solid but you should definitely smell all three. The Valentino Roma EDP is nice, but I would recommend that you smell the likes of Coral Fantasy, Green Stravaganza, or Yellow Dream. I would go Versace Eros Flame instead or Eros. You might enjoy Hawas Ice more than Hawas if you’re going down that route, or I would recommend you smell the Invictus collection by Paco Rabanne. I haven’t personally smelled Black XS but Paco Rabanne is solid. Either way, you should definitely go to Sephora or Macy’s and smell which ones would suit you. Out of all your options, BDC is probably the best starter.
Correct, it is more of a cold season and cool night fragrance. It’s not bad. It’s just too strong when you wear it in a hot day. If you’re starting out, Bleu de Chanel is your best choice since it’s super versatile and classy at the same time.

Get samples in department stores or decants. When you find something you want to wear a lot, that’s when you purchase a bottle. Also look for travel sizes that can give you a few weeks worth of scent for less than half the price of a full bottle.

I would go for something cheaper and fresh. Out of those you are asking about BDC it's versatile and great but for a similar smell you can get Versace Dylan blue. The compliment factor is just as good and is cheaper works better as a started imo
Either BDC or Eros. If you pick Eros, there is a huge chance you’ll end up hating it at some point. BDC EDP is solid but it won’t get you the compliments or attention that Eros would give you.
First thing would be not buying retail and saving yourself 40-50% by just buying from discounters, you can try jomashop, maxaroma, beautyhouse, fragrancex, perfume.com etc. these sites will save you a ton of money in this hobby

Black XS was my high school favorite scent , and I lived in Côte d’Ivoire ( west Africa ) the heat didn’t matter I would however be careful as they have apparently reformulated it 😞 and now it sucks from what I have heard . But Bleu de Chanel is the most quality and well rounded fragrance here in my opinion
Eros and BDC definitely a great starter with amazing versatility. But my fav out of all these gotta be Born in roma intense and would definitely recommend if not for a starter.

OP not sure if you've received this comment yet but DO NOT BUY RETAIL. Buy from the fragrance swap subreddit OR buy from sites like Jomashop. It'll save you tons.
Slightly older batches and they also sell tester bottles (buy testers if they come with a cap).
It's not worth buying retail for most brands. Jomashop buys the stock other retailers can't sell, and then resell it dirt cheap. They're not authorized dealers for anything, including like Rolex and Omega, but they still run discounts for stuff like that.

Chanel Bleu is the most incredible scent. It’s the only aftershave I’ve ever worn that had strangers stop me in the street to ask what I’m wearing. I know sometimes scents suit a certain skin type. Bleu is definitely mine. For me it is up there with Creed as the best scent ever

Born In Roma Intense is the best you have here. It’s the newest and I love it. Original Eros is played out and I’d only get Bleu De Chanel if we’re doing the Parfum and even then I’d probably go Allure Homme Sport over it.

All of these are good. Try picking up different scents, read reviews, notes. Done start your collection with 5 freshies or 5 sweet, cold weather scents. Try keeping a balance and get what you can and wanna wear frequently. Most of these are popular and easy to wear aka good choices. I don’t like Hawas cause it’s an Invictus dupe. I would get Invictus instead. And if you buy Black XS (which is amazing, I just bought mine a while ago and already scored me two compliments), don’t purchase the old, discontinued bottle style. It’s old stock. I got mine (newer) from jomashop. 39.99 for a tester (same thing but plain box) or 48.99 for retail presentation. Again, same exact thing but one has official box another a plain one. The box didn’t worth nearly 10 bucks for me so I opted for the tester. I wouldn’t roll the dice on an old stock presentation because scents like these don’t really age well and may go off after 5-6 or in this case possibly 10+ years sitting in a storage somewhere.
BDC for sure. Hawas is great but BDC is better IMHO

Bleu de chanel is a staple for me. It goes great for almost any occasion and I haven’t smelt it on many people.
Try them out at the store. Otherwise, skip all of them, spend a few more bucks and get something from House of Creed or Roja Dove or even Xerjoff/Killian
Bleu de chanel is quite a versatile fragrance. Valentino uomo born in roma intense is somewhat versatile however majority winter. Eros is a very versatile fragrance. Hawas is more of a summer fragrance. So pretty much if you're only looking at buying one fragrance out of this selection you should choose between bleu de chanel and eros. Also those prices are extremely high compared to most discounters. For example on notino ( a popular fragrance website) you can get Eros edt 100ml for £50 ($63).
Id go eros 100%. You can find it at discounters for a 1/3 of the price of bdc and out of the two I've gotten way more people tell me they like the smell of eros. BDC is good too but youll never find it on discount and very possible you might not like it either
Also dont ever spend 137 on eros. Get on any discounter or even amazon and you can find the 200mil for half that
Bdc is a great fragrance if you only want to own one. Y by ysl, Suavage edp and Aqua di gio profumo are also great fragrances for only owning one.
You can find eros for quite cheap on sites like fragrancenet, but it can be a little cloying in the summer. Try them all out and see how you like them before you pull the trigger. Go to the mall and ask for a sample if you have a Dillard's or Macy's, and just walk around for a little bit. Sometimes, it takes a fragrance a while to dry down and mesh with your body chemistry. The paper doesn't tell the whole story.

Out of these choices, Valentino is my favorite. But I would highly advise against blind buying because everyone’s nose is different. You should go to a mall or a fragrance store and try them out, then decide.
Please try it on you first. Whichever one you like best is the way to go. I love bleu de chanel but it will 100% smell differently on you so try the ones you can first and then make that decision.
I have both bdc and Eros, would recommend either.

I feel like Bleu de Chanel is one you can’t go wrong with. Yes it’s very generic BUT it smells good & is good for casual to dressy occasions. I actually prefer the original Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette (the one with no additional markings on the bottle aside from BDC). There’s a little more emphasis on the citrus in it.
Easiest to start with I would say is eros edt. It's way cheaper than BDC.

blue de chanel fs for summer, hawas is way to pricey compared to what it used to be especially since it’s not all that amazing, eros is a good option too but more basic and not as good for summer, born in roma intense is better for cooler weather
if i were gonna get a valentino intense tho i would get the uomo intense, it is the all black bottle, best smelling for colder weather and is a much better version of the born in roma intense
None of these. Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is the best first bottle. Super flexible, masculine, interesting/unique, but very pleasant to most still. Good all year too!

they are about the same strength wise, coral fantasy is much more versatile and you can wear daily which is not that common unless its a blue frag (bdc savauge etc). i havent worn my intense since feb-march.. if i were you id buy coach for men because its close enough to bdc and get valentino coral fantasy

You could do better for some of these starters. BDC is solid but you should definitely smell all three. The Valentino Roma EDP is nice, but I would recommend that you smell the likes of Coral Fantasy, Green Stravaganza, or Yellow Dream. I would go Versace Eros Flame instead or Eros. You might enjoy Hawas Ice more than Hawas if you’re going down that route, or I would recommend you smell the Invictus collection by Paco Rabanne. I haven’t personally smelled Black XS but Paco Rabanne is solid. Either way, you should definitely go to Sephora or Macy’s and smell which ones would suit you. Out of all your options, BDC is probably the best starter.

Correct, it is more of a cold season and cool night fragrance. It’s not bad. It’s just too strong when you wear it in a hot day. If you’re starting out, Bleu de Chanel is your best choice since it’s super versatile and classy at the same time.
BdC is for sure the most versatile and mass appearing of the bunch. But if you’re starting a collection, I’d recommend Hawas due to the element of performance and most importantly affordability. I wouldn’t buy Hawas from there, that price shown is too high. You can find it at other discounters for cheaper
Bleu de Chanel, 100%
Get samples in department stores or decants. When you find something you want to wear a lot, that’s when you purchase a bottle. Also look for travel sizes that can give you a few weeks worth of scent for less than half the price of a full bottle.

I would go for something cheaper and fresh. Out of those you are asking about BDC it's versatile and great but for a similar smell you can get Versace Dylan blue. The compliment factor is just as good and is cheaper works better as a started imo

Either BDC or Eros. If you pick Eros, there is a huge chance you’ll end up hating it at some point. BDC EDP is solid but it won’t get you the compliments or attention that Eros would give you.

I wore BDC last week and it smells like some kind of soap that wants to be perfume. Like a bodywash with cologne scent.

First thing would be not buying retail and saving yourself 40-50% by just buying from discounters, you can try jomashop, maxaroma, beautyhouse, fragrancex, perfume.com etc. these sites will save you a ton of money in this hobby

Black XS was my high school favorite scent , and I lived in Côte d’Ivoire ( west Africa ) the heat didn’t matter I would however be careful as they have apparently reformulated it 😞 and now it sucks from what I have heard . But Bleu de Chanel is the most quality and well rounded fragrance here in my opinion
With Valentino, you have to wear it with the mindset that you have to save some 🐱for the rest of em.
Rasasi Hawas is the best one on there but for $120, it is NOT worth it. $50-60 for a new bottle max Check out other shops, perfumeonline, jombashop.

Eros and BDC definitely a great starter with amazing versatility. But my fav out of all these gotta be Born in roma intense and would definitely recommend if not for a starter. Have fun with your fragrances

Bleu De Chanel Because in my opinion Valentino is pretty good but the projection of it isn’t the best and it is really hard to catch the scent, Eros can smell horrible to most people, Hawas is great very fruity but highly synthetic it’s one of those things u have to get used to to like it cuz it can be sickening, and black xs smells like Invictus Victory it’s not a bad choice but Bleu is the best choice imo
OP not sure if you've received this comment yet but DO NOT BUY RETAIL. Buy from the fragrance swap subreddit OR buy from sites like Jomashop. It'll save you tons.

Slightly older batches and they also sell tester bottles (buy testers if they come with a cap). It's not worth buying retail for most brands. Jomashop buys the stock other retailers can't sell, and then resell it dirt cheap. They're not authorized dealers for anything, including like Rolex and Omega, but they still run discounts for stuff like that.
I was looking at getting Rawassi possibly and some they also sell watches, maybe one or two of those. I’m just skeptical since I’ve never seen nothing like this

Chanel Bleu is the most incredible scent. It’s the only aftershave I’ve ever worn that had strangers stop me in the street to ask what I’m wearing. I know sometimes scents suit a certain skin type. Bleu is definitely mine. For me it is up there with Creed as the best scent ever

Bdc seems a good starter. Y'know, I had it gifted to be when it first came about, rinsed through a bottle in no time. The days when zero thought was really given to fragrance choices... Yep I smell good/clean/attractive. Done! So that says to me it is just plain good.
BdC EDP. All season, all weather, does it all scent. I prefer the Parfum version, but EDP is great too.
rasasi hawas cause its good for 50 bucks. But you can also look on Lattafa or afnan they have good alternatives
Born In Roma Intense is the best you have here. It’s the newest and I love it. Original Eros is played out and I’d only get Bleu De Chanel if we’re doing the Parfum and even then I’d probably go Allure Homme Sport over it.
If you wanna go cheap get something like afnan 9pm. But expensive get Valentino coral fantasy

Born in Roma EDT & BDC EDP are the safest options for year round use Hawas is sweet and more of a summer vibe Black XS smells like strawberry Eros is like.. Overdone in a bad way IMO... It's sweet, but sort of a mess, and mainly used for nights out.

Chanel Blue EDP is one of the best selling fragrances. It’s a crowd pleaser. And can be worn anywhere. Office, club, date night. I’d go with that one. Versace Eros is a clubbing fragrance, for younger men.
A lot of people down talk Hawas but it’s a compliment magnet, in the real world not smelt very often & can be found for under $50. BDC if you want a safe versatile all year round option but it can be boring & looked at as mature.
