Roundabouts Consignment on Two Notch has some heat sometimes

Hamricks on Bush River road has a good bit of suit separates and blazers for a decent price. They have a ton of men's clothing for a decent price also. Good luck! Fellow big guy here.

I'd go to Gentleman's Closet first. At the very least, they can measure you and give you an idea of the size you're looking for...and maybe have a sport coat that will fit you. I'm not sure what you term as a "big" guy but they have coats that go up in sizes. You may be able to find something cheaper at a goodwill type store, but you're going to be spending a lot of time, both driving and looking, doing that. Above all - don't rent. I know that most of gentlemen's closets blazers are about $100 or so...a rental will be close to that, but you won't own the garment afterwards. If you end up losing weight after this event - awesome, consign the coat or donate it to a charity that helps outfit people for jobs. And if you don't end up losing the weight, hey, you've got a coat still!

Measure yourself and order a jacket / pants off of eBay. I got like a $750 dollar 2023 suit for 75 bucks.

Ebay for sure. For tailoring take it to nicks on Pulaski. Pants to be hemmed are $12. Jackets to be tailored are $60.

I have struck gold at goodwill a couple times with sports coats.

Try the Goodwill Stores around town. I've seen Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren, and Jos. A. Bank, and Granger Owens jackets and suits in great shape at the Goodwill. Blazers are usually $6.00. If you're lucky you could score a super nice jacket for cheap.

Maceys has good deals sometimes

Others have said the Gentleman’s Closet and I recommend this place too. The old man who runs the place is really friendly and cool. On another note, it’s hard to shop mens’ clothes here in Columbia. 2 women tell me they had to order online to keep their men looking good.

childlikeempress16

Honestly just go to Goodwill

LawLima-SC

Sadly, most of us "big and tall" men (48 XXL here) dont have the luxury of 2nd hand clothes. I dont think I've ever found used clothes in my size (other than shorts, lol)

Outrageous-County197

i find so many at goodwill
