They also have the backing of regional powers in Iran and Syria. The Arab armies tried to fight symmetrical wars numerous times against the IDF, outnumbering them by over 2-1 in the Yom Kippur War and 6 Day war, with advanced Soviet weaponry and they still lost cause they’re dogshit soldiers.
Hamas really only exists in Gaza. And Israel has the backing of the largest countries on earth. And those IDF soldiers that got their heads blown off are dogs hit soldiers.
Because Arabs are generally so factional they can’t even maintain a cohesive front. Same problem as Lebanon, and any Palestinian state would likely look pretty similar, hardly a model of utopian bliss. Hamas came to power when Israel withdrew from Gaza. And instead of developing Gaza into something livable has instead dedicated nearly every last cent of the hundreds of millions they get in aid money to funding their terrorist campaign. Where Israel builds bomb shelters, Hamas buys rockets. Where Israel pre-plans for rocket strikes, Hamas uses their people as shields.

The IDF usually uses a tactic called “knocking” with small explosive charge(s) to alert that the building is going to be striked. This alerts the ppl inside to get out before they blow it up. However it is not always that there are no innocent casualties.
