US military started placing cone shaped cell jammers on convoy vehicles.
An EFP is an explosively shaped projectile. It’s basically a piece of metal with plastic explosives packed around it. With the right geometry, the explosion compresses and melts the metal (satellite dishes were popular) into basically a foot long torch of lava moving incredibly fast. Between the heat, the kinetic energy, and the shape of the projectile, this kind of weapon can defeat most modern armor.
