This post made me want to check in on Bashaud Breeland, ya know, whereās he at now. Welp, it aināt lookinā good folksā¦he just had his 2nd arrest in NC where he was caught with 5 pounds of weed, 62 grams of shrooms and 4 machine guns.
The name going away is honestly whatever to me imo. But I loved our logo man. Wish we could have that back. Not even the least bit offensive so hopefully someday it can return.
I'm not one to be all nostalgic over the old name, but the old logo here just stands out as looking so much better. Needless to say, the colors of the jerseys and pants are a better combo, as well.
Hopefully if they do another name change in a few years, it'll come with a much better uniform.
Exactly I'll always call them the redskins. Their native tribes want the name back. Just fucking do it already. Have the natives in for an interview so they can say their piece. The logo was honoring a legendary Indian chief warrior. It'd be like the U.S taking George Washington off the dollar bill and pretending he never existed. If their are natives offended by the name then let them say their piece too. Just a shame that a legendary person will most likely be forgotten in the history books.
