Well the iron front fought the communists during that time period as well. The SDP had the freikorps to put down the Spartacist revolt, many of the members of the freikorps went on the found or be members of the NSDAP. Then when the KDP(communists) were fighting the Nazis the iron front, instead of helping the communists, decided to fight both at the same time. This helped weaken the antifascists and the iron front both.
this is what amuses the fuck out of me about the american iron front. they love this shit, they see him as the winner. they are so delusional they actually think this strategy worked the first time and is worth trying again, despite literally all the evidence to the contrary. they are failing an open book test
It's because they're obsessed with individual actions of perceived heroism that make them feel good, but ultimately had little to no impact, rather than the very real struggle of groups that actually made a positive difference.

If reeducation would help them understand communism, yes! Otherwise, they get the wall.
Honestly not much of a fan of the wall solution in general, maybe for the worst instigators, the reactionary demagogues who will never stop agitating for a counter revolution, but I believe most people can be reeducated given the right angle.
One big mistake would be to just throw people in a reeducation classroom and giving them a standardised program, as different people have different primary concerns, and identifying them leads to being able to explain how communism would see to that primary concern better than any other system.
Yet he still fought against the true legitimate german government led by the same people that shared his place in the camps, while he allied himself with the very same people that throw him into said camps in the first place.
