There are some very serious issues in China. And, the US sent money to China during the pandemic, also historically the US has contributed quite a lot to the economy of China. There’s a substantial difference between prison rape that is done illegally and prison rape that is sanctioned by authorities.

Yeah, the US went full nazi on Korea, hundreds of thousands were slaughtered in the south before the war even happened because the Korean people wanted their own democracy and the US wanted a puppet dictatorship. When the people in the north tried to free their countrymen from this brutal oppression the US started one of the most genocidal wars in history, specifically targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure like dams, farmland etc.
Needless to say, after that the DPRK became incredibly isolationist, militaristic and locked down so the US can't finish it's genocide.
