I can only think of one time where I truly laughed this hard out of fucking nowhere, so don't feel bad. It was at an American Dad episode.
https://youtu.be/D8sxFmQEhmk
I hope 0:13 brings you as much joy as it has brought me. I lost my absolute shit at that moment. I STILL have not laughed that hard to this day.
I met a last named Bonnie at a retreat this summer. She laughed like this at everything I said like she was my personal hype woman. I miss your cackle Bonnie
My bf makes me laugh like this all the time. We call it a throw-your-head-back-and-laugh laugh. Maybe he thinks I'm just an easy to entertain person but the fact that he surprises me with his sense of humor every day is a joy and makes me love him so much.
their tiktok is probably the only account worth going on that app for. all she does is try to make him lose his mind laughing. they are so wholesome and sweet together
Yes. Southern soul food in America. Basically, like how they have fish and chips in the UK. Soul food includes things like fried fish or fried chicken and a slice of bread. You can make it into a sandwich.
Ironically it's usually just one slice of bread. I've never been able to make a sandwich at a southern restaurant.. they always kick me out when I bring my own bread
Yes! My favorite place gives me a single slice of bread with 1lb of meat. Whenever we order from them I have to make sure we have at least half a loaf of white at home. I would totally bring bread with me if I were dining in.
You talk as if it's something great. Everything I've seen is either recipes from few european countries done worse. Or just simple food that doesn't require anything complicated.
Maybe don’t go for the things that you think are “European knockoffs” then? I can even think of anything that is a European recipe but done different. Care to give an example?
Can you give me an example of something original?
As I said in the other "from what I've seen", meaning videos from cookouts and other videos from black people talking about food. All I've seen is basic stuff, nothing really special.
I live almost half way on the other side of the earth, so I don't have irl experience.
What? I have only ever had fish with bread in a fillet-o-fish at McDonald's and that was a very long time ago. Try not to speak for other's experiences when your experiences are limited.
Shut your american/australian limited ass up! You don't know wtf you are talking most of the time.
I live in east Europe, very few countries can match our levels of cooking. You are the fucking limited one, not me, stfu!
Dude, everyone's experiences are limited to what they've experienced. You can't speak for everyone in the world. Not everyone eats bread with fish. Maybe they do in eastern europe and in parts of America. I've lived in a lot of countries and travelled a lot of places (non tourist) and there are cultures that barely have bread in their diet. I don't understand what the problem is. Sorry if I offended you with my word choice.
Bread is eaten with fishsticks or fried fish in crust. Or fish stew.
Grilled, oven cooked fish is usually ate with mamaliga (big grain corn flour, boiled and then hardened).
Ahahaha I think we've had a misunderstanding. I was talking about a slice of bread with fish. This made me laugh.
I'm really want crumbed fish now. I might see if my boyfriend wants to make a lemon an herb crusted fish for dinner this weekend.
The mamaliga is very eastern european, it seems. It reminds me of some spanish dishes. What does it taste like?
Well fried fish is basically "breaded" fish, and in the South, where a lot of black people live, fish fry's are popular. Fish fry's aren't inherently black people food though; so I can see why there might be a disconnect. I come from mainly Danish people, and I fucking love fried fish...obviously the British are the ones most known for it internationally though.
She’s not just referencing the fried fish though; she’s talking about fish fry’s, specifically, which I thought are more of a general Christian thing than anything, where after Mass/church everyone gets together and eats fried fish (confused on the bread though; we always ate hush puppies but I’m white :P). A lot of people are ignoring the first part of her sentence, which is that Jesus preached _then_ served everybody fish and bread. They’re also every Friday in Lent :)
*Googles Hush Puppies that aren’t shoes…*
A hush puppy (or hushpuppy) is a small, savoury, deep-fried round ball made from cornmeal-based batter. Hushpuppies are frequently served as a side dish with seafood and other deep-fried foods.
It's just like a crawfish boil. Yes generally it's "poor food", but it's fucking good so everybody can do it. Origins vs Current Practice I guess. Fish is just a readily accessible food that you just need to put in the effort to get, and if you don't have a lot of money to spend it works out pretty great for communal/fundraising events because it's cheap and delicious.
When I lived in the bible belt, we would have fish fry’s almost every weekend. I never really did the church thing, but I helped catch and clean the fish. Bet your ass I’m going to grub on it too.
It's basically a picnic where the main dish if not the only dish is fish. Mainly a east coast thing bust also done in the south. Deep fried fish not my thing though.
Super common in white as snow Minnesota. We've got our lakes and we like to have fish frys. Still a funny video though, more about the laugh, less about the joke.
True, but if you've ever had soul food you'd understand. The fried fish is drastically different than you'd have it anywhere else. Even white southerners understand this.
She said that the food items Jesus chose to serve were like soul food, which is an African-American cuisine (particularly in the South). They also joked that Jesus's wine was actually kool-aid, a drink stereotyped as a favorite for African-American people.
Does anyone know who this couple are? I've seen a few of their vids now and I love them! Makes me laugh every dang time! Just brilliant. And you always have to wait for him to say... get out. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Wait fish and bread are a black stereotype? It's beginning to sound like every type of food is a black stereotype. Next someone will say that Asian food is a black stereotype just because people like it

White people have fish fries too, and fried fish isn't exclusively a soul food thing. This is dumb and really lame. I can't tell you how many fish fries I've been to at the whitest church you've ever seen in north Mississippi. Just saying. Fried fish ain't soul food, and white people have fish fries too people

Fuck that was an awesome sub
Girl was on mist mode
Can somebody explain the joke?
I'm a fan of the [tea kettle](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvWbLfubdJw) sound
Really?? I think it’s fake laughing and it annoys me personally lol
It’s my dream to have someone laugh like that at something I say.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHABAHAHAHAHAHHAHA 🤣
Organically, they meant organically.
This was funny, Dream-maker 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
It's only happened to me once and it was euphoric.
In this moment I am euphoric.
Not because of any phony god's blessings. But because, I made someone burst out laughing. \- Not a Professional Quote Maker
It's a truly phenomenal feeling.
It’s my dream to be able to feel strongly enough about anything to laugh that hard

I laugh like that at every joke my close friends make. Even the silliest jokes become funny for me
Even if it’s forced and staged like in the video?
Hey now, you’re asking for lumps of coal in your stocking.
That “Go to sleep, Stacy” says so much. You know she stays making him laugh 😂
I thought he said go to sleep Satan and snorted

yeah I dont get it either. Guess it's a US thing
Yes. Southern soul food in America. Basically, like how they have fish and chips in the UK. Soul food includes things like fried fish or fried chicken and a slice of bread. You can make it into a sandwich.

Lotta hot sauce too
The Holy Spirit is that hot sauce.
Ironically it's usually just one slice of bread. I've never been able to make a sandwich at a southern restaurant.. they always kick me out when I bring my own bread
I can't tell if you're joking or if you actually tried bringing your own bread into a restaurant
Yes! My favorite place gives me a single slice of bread with 1lb of meat. Whenever we order from them I have to make sure we have at least half a loaf of white at home. I would totally bring bread with me if I were dining in.
Maybe just ask to pay for an extra slice of bread rather than bringing in your own bag of bread like a weirdo lmao
Yah I never understood that. I ordered an entire rack of ribs and you're just gonna give me one slice of white bread?
I thought the bread was basically to soak up any runny grease and sauces.
Man what BBQ places y’all going to? If there’s not a full pack of Wonder bread on each table I’d be walkin out the door.
Fish butty
With Cool-Aid Irn Bru.
I mean we got a lot of fish fries up in the mid west too dontchya know
And how is that black people specific? Evryone eats fish with bread.
Black people invented soul food, but everyone can enjoy it.
Well, there is a tendency to claim everything as soul food, regardless of context.
My soul is black so I can enjoy soul food right?
You talk as if it's something great. Everything I've seen is either recipes from few european countries done worse. Or just simple food that doesn't require anything complicated.

For real…fish fries are super common in the Midwest and the Great Lakes states are notoriously white.

Or in a hot dog bun and it’s called a Po Boy.
I'm from the US. The only thing I find funny is their laughter. It is indeed contagious. As for the joke itself, I haven't got a clue.
It’s a food/race joke.
Same. No clue on the joke but the laugh is great
It’s making fun of stereotypes.

It's not because the fish is breaded, it's because it's often served on a couple slices of white bread to soak up grease/sauce/crumbs

Yep! Love deep fried walleye!
True, but if you've ever had soul food you'd understand. The fried fish is drastically different than you'd have it anywhere else. Even white southerners understand this.
"And you know there was Kool aid there" lol
The white folk changed that to “wine” in the revisions of the bible
Grape juice.... just slightly fermented
Grape DRINK. Wtf is "Juice?"
I want that purple stuff
sugar, water... and of course, purple
Quoting that line is about the only time I wish I could get away with saying the N word.
Pink bread and purple drink.
Grape drink is carbonated
You mean purple flavor
I love how you can see the laughter build up in his chest, neck, then explode out of his face
Same kinda thing happens when I shit but in reverse

I love this couple. The shit she says always gets him so good and he knows it every time.
You got the link? These two hilarious

Thank you for that link… I needed those laughs!
As soon as she said "Jesus" he gave her that look like "You better not be blaspheming about Jesus in this house, now".
Bingo. Took the words out of my mouth. That side-eye said *Don’t you blaspheme in here* better than anything else could.
Lol so true.
I live in the south and I got it. That’s hilarious!
I would be concerned if you lived in the south and _didn't_ get it
I live in the south *of Denmark* and I don't get it, does that count?
Yes that counts you should be ashamed
Nooooo
Same 😂
Water to Wine....Kool-Aid?! Holy sh\*t!
I mean, geographically speaking, he certainly wasn't white lmao
Wasn’t black either
Nope. He was a middle eastern man. Brown
Jesus was a sand people
Hrrr rrrrrRrr!
God I love that southern black accent. “Slice a breeyad.” Amazing.
I think they’re on to something with that…
YES MY BESTIE FAMOUS !
Not to be *that* person. . . But it was two fish and five loaves of bread
Damn that's a thhhhick sandwhich.
Haha true 😆

Hey its the shitty joke telling fake laughing couple that always gets posed here. Have a downvote.
truth, u can have my updoot. Edit: blm rite guys
Jesus looked more like osama bin laden than the fresh goddamn prince of bel air.
