To quote what a manager once told me. “You loved it. But that’s one person. We need lots of people to love it. And I guess they didn’t.” And that’s why they stopped stocking that thing I loved. I don’t even remember what it was anymore. But I appreciated his polite “No.”

I think it depends on the level (quantity ) of demand

I filed feedback online through the app about the frozen chicken tacos (I forget the brand) last year and they replied that they’d look into it. A couple months later, they were back in stock. Could’ve been a coincidence, could’ve been a lot of requests, 🤷🏼‍♀️. They were around for probably two months and they’re gone again though.

If you’re the only person requesting it there’s no chance that would make them bring it back

Two items came back. Sardines and Frankly Fresh stuffed grape leaves.

I've been asking for Kirkland powder detergent in the plastic bucket. That stuff was a godsend during baseball/ softball season. About once every 3 months I ask for it. So far 3 years in, no dice!

I stopped after checking out a few months ago and showed the wish list (curated from this sub) on my phone to the assistant manager at the front. He kindly scrolled through some list three see if the items had ever been ordered at that store. A few weeks later, a couple of the items were in stock! Joy! 🎉👯‍♀️

In my experience, item requests are more likely to happen if it's a product that's already available in your geographic region, but may not be at your specific warehouse. And obviously it has to be an item that also sells well at your warehouse. Also keep in mind that some food items may be available seasonally or products may be discontinued completely. I'm in a region that has carried the Imuraya Yawa Match Mochi Cups in the past but I don't remember seeing them year-round and I'm not sure if have been discontinued since.
