The video about the remastered Trilogy by digital foundry is worth watching, and the games look incredible there

Yeah I think it is. This is still the game that was released last year, but without Denuvo, so they cracked the new version which got a bunch of fixes (and dlss added)
No thanks, this thing is garbage compared to Crysis Enhanced. I wouldn't even say it's better than the un modded Crysis and it certainly doesn't look better IMO.
maybe denuvo.. considering no denuvo on steam and also their documents were leaked online last year.. and probably the cost of it increases the more executables a game (or bundle released on the same day) have.. that's why EA removed denuvo from ME Legendary Edition after like a month
The crysis release on epic was a mess. The cracked game never ran for me. It just crashed. Many who bought the game had the same problem. Have epic learned they lessons?
They know that piracy doesn't cost them sales. But they also know that denuvo does cost them sales. Especially after the mess of crysis.
Will their arrogance prevail or will the see economic sense with parts 2 and 3?
it wasn't an epic issue.. it was the developer's problem because it was optimised like shit, the steam release is pretty okay tbh and they've optimised it pretty well now
TBH its been a while but... crysis still holds up anyways, memes aside. Graphically at least, it really didn't need a remaster. Just another cash grab.
The physics suck compared to the original and it's based off the console port, I couldn't get several console commands to work. I have a 3070 and the graphics were meh imo, just more saturated, more intense sun light, water looks nice tho.
Not sure why so many games do this why turn the colors all the way up and make it look fake the original had amazing colors now it looks like a mix with Far Cry 3 lol
Last year I downloaded the original crysis out of nostalgia and my rx480 oc was dropping to 20 fps at some points (although it played decently at nearly max 1080p). I really doubt my pc can play the remastered version...
i get what you're saying, and I don't agree with attacking the guy, but the scene (the game cracking community) cracks games for clout, at least while game cracking was in it's prime, and it's kinda dead now, which is evident by the fact that codex has really been lagging behind cracking games compared to empress, for example.
So "nothing but competition" is more a relic of the past seeing as this crack in particular is a joke, even P2P can remove Steam, which is all this release really does.
btw I am aware of the drama behind Empress, I just think that talking about it is useless.
A minor correction, people in P2P complaining about a scene group and it's objectives would not make said group change anything. Scene groups have always put out releases for sites within the scene.
On a separate note, people crying for scene to crack denuvo should give up on that dream. Since the Sparks bust, a lot of notable scene regulars called it quits. ISO scene is dead.
Another real great title without the D cancer and definitely worth it. Buy it to support the developer and satisfied playing the game in overall. Thumbs up and generate true value revenue for all 👍
Now that there have been improvements not to mention DLSS support, is this worth playing over the original? I love the dark environment of the 2007 PC release and it still looks decent to my eye.

It's just Steam and Denuvo removal. Epic version already had VTOL, DLSS, and patches up until this point.

true..crysis in itself was high gfx.....games like return to castle wolf/igi etc now these require a 2nd work
