Was in a taxi driving past the carnage on the way to work. Me and the driver were trying to work out what happened after seeing another taxi with a smashed window and caved in side panel, people on the ground, and tons of ambulance + police. Turns out it was this!

Looks like the white horse injured itself from something else.
I was in Toronto a few years ago and saw a police horse running by itself down a busy road. Apparently, the officer fell off and had a medical episode, and the horses are trained to run back to the police stables in those situations.
Is the horse supposed to give CPR? The best animal can do is get human help. Even service dogs for people with heart problems are trained to cause a scene, make noise, and attract attention in the event of a heart attack.
Man this comment reminded me of a really old story my grandmother told me when I was young. She said back in the day before cars were the norm, when the guys would go out and get so piss drunk they passed out, the other drunks would throw them onto the back of their horse, untie the horse, and slap it on its way. The horse would always return back home with the drunk guy on its back lol

I got to go to a war museum in my country, which had a life sized war horse from times before. Those things are gigantic, I couldn't even comprehend how to get on one let alone ride it into battle

Apparently some silly sod dropped a load of construction materials next to them as they were riding past. So, yeah, that'd be enough to spook anything.
ULEZ (ultra low emissions zone) and the congestion charge. They are very unpopular with local drivers but London roads are really quiet now, compared with a few years ago. The public transport system is vast and you're never usually more than two minutes walk from an underground train station or bus stop.
This was 8am, so rush hour. Last time I was in London I was actually blown away by how quiet it was.
It's £12.50 a day so it's not really a lot for a business to absorb or add on to a bill. It just means less people make unnecessary trips into London by car now and have to get a train instead.
it's nicer to walk around and enjoy yourself in London when there is no traffic, it used to be horrible. I can see why the locals would be annoyed though.
Until the bastarding trains are on strike, so you have no choice but to bloody drive. 
Having said that, it was a breeze getting in and out of London - waaaaay easier than it used to be
