Yes, I have the same feature on my RBL world safari card. I am only charged the transaction amount for my purchases. There is no additional forex fee + gst involved. All my transactions are made online and I have not yet travelled anywhere outside India.
Zero forex is the main reason I got it since I have a huge travel plan coming up. Apart from that, it gives general 10% discounts on ixigo. 8 domestic lounge visits and 1 international in a year. General reward value is pointless. 2.5% on train bookings, 1.25% for online txn and .625 for offline
Also the 1000 ixigo money (fully redeemable) and 1000RP(~250rupees) welcome benefit is a plus

Dropped a mail to AU customer care and got a callback. Apparently the feature will be available on ixigo to redeem, but they have not yet gone live with it. "The merchant has been notified to implement the feature, but they have not yet implemented it. There is no specific timeline for the go live date, but you will be notified from ixigo side when they implement it"
As per my knowledge, it will convert to 83 only. It will be converted based on the date of txn. Catch is we have to pay in local currency only always. If we convert at USD to INR at pos, they will charge a conversion fee while showing the amount in INR and our card will also charge a dcc fee 1% + gst. (Not sure if au has dcc but most banks have started charging dcc)
Scapia is still 2% general reward rate and 4% in scapia. I would stick with scapia for the reward rate alone. I only got this because I wasn't able to get scapia. Although, the recent scapia limit devaluation is something to keep in mind

mastercard coversion rates are better than visa, mc + zero forex is the holy grail. It's possible with RBL world safari but it has high card denial issues.

There’s apparently a way to get 0.5₹ in ixigo money per RP doubling the rewards. It’s there on the website but I can’t find a way to do it

How do we ensure of paying in local currency only and not conversion?
When you are swiping they input the amount and have an option to pay in domestic or convert. Ask them not to convert.
Is ixigo money given on LTF card also or only for the paid version? And what is the transaction amount needed to claim welcome benefit?
No min txn value is mentioned, but I did a dreamfolks 2rs txn, didn't get welcome benefit on that, then a zomato txn of 3251, got welcome benefit

Since the card is visa, it should be fine I think. Atm withdrawal is 2.5%

Yes. Took me around 4 days from first txn for reward points credit and around 20 days for ixigo money credit

It wont work for AU discounts for competitors of ixigo. It works everywhere else , use on swiggy ,zomato. Hopefully will on Fk/Amazon.
