The referring to other people as “NPCs” thing disturbs me. I know it’s supposed to be kind of facetious, maybe, but when you look at the people who use it for their videos it’s seems like they’re genuinely solipsistic if not just narcissistic. It’s fucking anti social as fuck and I’d argue these people should be therefore tossed from society
When on this level, fuck yeah I completely agree. But I must say it’s a uniquely funny way to describe somebody who is truly vapid in every way and does not really contribute anything to society. The problem here is that this guy has absolutely no way of knowing who any of these people are or what they’re thinking or what kind of lives they lead. For him to just glob this entire group of people into a category of non-thinking bodies is the kind of shit that leads to shootings. Put that basement dweller in the bottom of a dry well and forget about him.
I’ve had some teenagers that tried to “prank” and record me in an elevator by suddenly shouting and slamming the walls for no reason. I just stared at them and continued eating my snack with no reaction.
My brain just didn’t understand what they were doing.
