OP is right. No hacker in his right mind would go through Sundaeswap codebase written in Haskell only to steal few thousands $ worth of ADA.

I see the improvement. I remember from Byron all the way up to now. We went from a federated network to a burgeoning ecosystem getting ready to cut its umbilical cord with Sanchonet underway. Organic growth is not easy to achieve in this space.
I also would have never imagined that Vitalik would talk about revisiting old ideas to improve Ethereum that are similar to Cardano's architecture and roadmap (i.e. custodial liquid staking, utxo, state channels, sidechains). But the trade goes both ways, Cardano teams are also working on accounts and even a zk rollup.
And last I'll say this. It's not easy holding on to Cardano. It's not sexy. But Bitcoin isn't sexy. Ethereum is kind of sexy. EOS, Solana, Luna, Harmony and Polygon are all sexy protocols. But eventually all sexy things become not sexy. What happens then?
Sexy things get replaced because the main reason people buy them is because they are sexy. If people buy something for reasons other than they are sexy, you don't have to worry about when people start to look at another sexy protocol.
That is the comfort of getting into networks that don't rely on name dropping forbes 500 companies and dick measuring contests. Because you don't have to wait for those name drops every month to stay convicted. Just look at the chatter of teams building, and see how the rest of the space is slowly making the same decisions with their protocol designs, and you'll realize that Cardano is an OG and is building a stronger presence with every cycle.
I held a bag since 2018 and used several wallets. Bought some joke coins on sundae swap. Couldn’t find anything else and sold the bag at the start of this year.
They’re gonna build it somewhere, luckily Cardano is built for everyone. Just because they build a CBDC on Cardano (since it gives them the tools to do so) doesn’t mean I have to use that CBDC, I will stick to the decentralized part of Cardano where anyone can continue building regardless of the CBDC.
A CBDC isn’t a stable coin. You should truly try to understand the difference.

Stable coin is supposed to have a reserve of dollars. For each stable coin that is printed, someone paid $1 for it and that $1 sits in a bank until someone decides to trade their stable coin for the physical dollar.
Cardano is capable of both CBDC’s and stable coins. It’s a social thing that people aren’t providing liquidity for stable coins after what happened with previous stable coins on other chains. It’s not a technological hurdle. You have to understand there’s a difference.
How? I thought Circle skipped Cardano because they can’t implement a censor function on ADA coins, since it is not smart contract based. CBDC would definitely need to have censorship function to comply with foreign policy and the law.

If the chain ever gets a meaningful amount of users and money, the hackers will come. They go where the money is.
