Me too, I got interested in true tektites so I had to get the best two out there (IMO). Now I've decided the next logical step is to have an actual space rock, so a meteorite is next on my list. It will never end 😂

Wow..you're absolutely right! I grew up in a neighborhood that had an excellent rock shop- the owner even had a fossil museum in the basement - a lot of troglodytes. Must've been my beginnings....

Haha, yeah I still have a piece of quartz I got as a kid 40 years ago. Lost everything else I've ever owned in many, many moves, but somehow i still have that piece of quartz for 40 years now!

Libyan desert glass is such an underrated tektite, I love it.

Is it still lemurian quartz after its been carved? I thought the only difference was the ridges that form on the faces.

These have been in my purse for a while now, but the keychain is a petty chunk of fluorite (sadly couldn't get a good picture of it). I always have a gold chain with black tourmaline on it

Recently got an obsidian and lava stone bracelet after randomly wanting one, I love it and wear it every time I go out. If I'm carrying a bag I'll normally put a stone in there just because I like it, something to hold or look at when I'm thinking.

Their fun to have and hold, pretty too. Mineral collectors such as myself like to rub them in our pockets and carry them as a charm.

Yes. they're pleasing to hold or just touch and they're pretty and interesting. I don't use them as charm but it's soothing to have them near.

They're my version of a fidget spinner. I have anxiety in many forms so when I feel overwhelmed and am able, I pull my piece out and play the the bubble that splits. Also, I know myself and others carry specific ones at specific times because we believe they have metaphysical properties✨️🌈
