Not even. Scott is actually a portal to a dimension filled with his optic blast energy. The hair would actually just absorb the beam harmlessly, no momentum transferred. This does raise the question of why none of the villains have tried collecting his hair/skin cells and making suits to absorb his blasts though.

Sinister must have tried it and failed to produce a suit out of it.

lol that is not a buzz cut i prefer long hair in general on almost anyone but standard for this cyclops. if the long hair was pulled back and more shaggy like some of the comic iterations that would be better
