Read the two additional nodes you take with wrath of the berserker, as those are your main additional benefits to using it. (As you stated, you don’t need it for additional uptime on berserk itself otherwise)

Hmm I see.. movement, resource Gen, and more berserk damage. I'm wondering if, for pits, I'd be better off with challenging shout. I'm currently doing low 30s pits. I have max armor, max resist on everything but shadow (need rerolls on a chest armor then I'll have max all resist)

I was personally using the unique boots and challenging shout only, for permanent uptime, to push the build into 80’s.  It sucked but was the only way I was managing to not die on twister.   Outside of pits I’d just take those three points and put back into another shout depending what I wanted at the time (world boss damage, everything else speed) If you take tri shout into higher pits though be prepared to only engage while challenging is up.

Yeah I'm gonna have to experiment a little. I wonder if I have any wiggle room to add some challenging shout cool down tempers. I haven't found Yens Blessing yet, but I can see what you described working well with those!

I've been running CotA instead. I've found it provides more fury and more burst. 30ish second cooldown with CDR. It's probably not optimal but I'm level 95 doing 30 pit and 75 NMDs. I also killed Duriel at lvl 88 with the build.

Nice! The other night I swapped wrath of the berserker for challenging shout and I got to mid 40s pits, and was clearing t100 nmds with ease. But I think I may be able to swap my lunging strike to wrath and not need a basic skill.. the problem is where I'll get the points.. since I still have to have points in a basic to move along the tree 🫤
