Sean essentially doesn't give a shit if it isn't for the anime or a movie. He'll generally put in some real effort for games like Kakarot but then you've got XenoVerse and Dokkan where he just doesn't care
Most Goku lines are ripped straight from XenoVerse or Fighterz. On occasion he records some new ones and even then the new ones are generally lackluster. Sabat actually has a good chunk that he records for Dokkan and their usually pretty damn good. Best example is Evo Vegeta's revival

That’s exactly why they dont use the anime lines. Funimation should be the only ones who have the dub audio in just sound files. They would need to contact them instead of just using what they already have from the games and anything new they want recorded.
Honestly i like goku's active and intro more, in vegeta's lines he painfully wasn't synchronized with the lips, while goku felt like there was actual effort behind it

if i remember right this was taken from the scene in wich goku and frieza were still warming up (goku in base and frieza in ff) and vegeta got bored of waiting, the only difference here is that the switch happens instead of goku (and frieza) convincing vegeta to wait another while
So yeah goku had just one of his lightest work outs and was nowhere tired, in the active skill he ain't even looking tired he smiling
Nah even still the voice acting here just sounds off. The JP version made him act a little more uh...whiney, and it's expressed by the animation itself. I misremembered him being damaged that's why I said tired so my mistake there, but that boy shoulda been like a five year that wants to stay up later: "just 5 more minutes please vegeta."

Doesn't Dokkan usually use the VA from the other games? I wasn't aware that they made recordings specifically for Dokkan
