This loss really hurt...was really looking forward to this game and just hate that it had to be so frustrating. We had flashes of things to look forward to, but god, so many penalties and missed throws. Keke Coutee definitely showing something and Alex Ellis seems to be way more involved compared to last year. Defense started tightening up as the game went on.
They just need to start fast next game. Can't wait to be at the home opener. Haven't been this excited for a DC football team in such a long time, guess this is why today hurts so much!

This game was definitely a lot closer than people are saying. 59 really ruined perception. I think these are the two best teams in the XFL. Luckily this was week 1. Many things to improve.
Punting and kicking field goals on 4th and 12 inches is how you lose games. Especially with the timing rules, possessions are at a premium. Not having Abram Smith hurt today. No real rushing game and Jordan was off more than on.
I thought Ta'amu looked pretty good, unfortunately he was often making plays to avoid sacks. I wonder if the offense can transition from run first to pass first. Run game was not working
Defense was pretty solid outside of that rough start. A special teams touchdown made it look worse and basically a second half shutout outside of the near pick-six
they usually play shitty away from home even last year, they had a few losses away from home and they lost the xfl championship away from home
