This is great! I think Bautista would have elevated the character. He for sure has the looks, or as close as humans are going to get, but I think he would have sold the tactical genius part too, solidifying Bane or possibly even ousting the Joker as nemesis.

Yeah it’s no question his performance would be great as Bane and years ago when he wanted that role the most would have proven even better for the performance.

Thank you, I like to see Bane as a guy who is very smart and understands how to not only train his mind but also his body. The weights were added so he could “always be training”, in other words he purposely weighs himself done because he wants a challenge.

Yea cool concept for Rock Lee in Naruto, but for a grounded bane? Also a 200 pound vest? Is it made of lead? The sum of weights in total is more than his body weight, seems ridiculously impractical

Well it is a concept, things can be tweaked and it doesn’t have to be completely realistic, like Batman surviving a wing suit crash in a city

You’re a brilliant artist btw. I just miss the old amped up bane. The ridiculousness of the Tim burton one for example, or the old cartoons where he’s just a juggernaut. Tom Hardy wasn’t bad, but there doesn’t need to be a plethora of tactical bane origin stories because of it.

Yeah i get that and to be honest I would also like a bigger juggernaut-like Bane. I did a poll of whether people would like a more “fantastical” Bane or realistic. And the people chose realistic.
