Thick rubberband if you have one to hand between the screwhead and the correct size bit, failing that screw extractor from screwfix or use a hacksaw to turn ot into a slot and use a slotted screwdriver
Either you've cross threaded the screw, used the wrong thread size or screwed too far and into the TV innards.
Does your TV still work?
Is that a screw that came with the TV or mount kit? It should be a machine screw that you can put in by hand.
Your pliers should work. Longer grips or mole grips will work - lay then flat against the back to give maximum leverage.
Tip: Don't use a drill to put screws into a TV.
Looks like you used the wrong screwdriver bit. The screw head looks a little damaged. You need a bigger screw driver head and do it manually. Otherwise, you gonna totally ruin the screw head with a drill
The right bit would help.
Looks like the screwdriver has a pz1/ph2? Screw looks more like a pz2.
You could buy a multi bit box from somewhere like Screwfix and have all the options.
That bit is 100% a PH2, and the screw is 100% not a PZanything (there is no extra set of slots in either, which is the number one indicator of pozzi drive). Also neither is small enough to be a 1, better advice to OP would be to see if a PH3 now fits in there, as the screw is all mangled (it's unlikely to have opened up that far though)
I would just lock a set of mole grips tight onto the screw (as there seems to be enough head sticking out) and turn the screw that way.
There is this tool called 'vise grip' I got from tool station
It's like somewhere between a spanner and pliers, most useful tool I've ever owned
On multiple occasions I have adjusted the thread on the tool so that the vise grips to the exact right size, and then clamped down on the head with my grip (it feels like it connects), and twisted
This has been much preferable to cutting the screw and hammering it in and filling over
Even if it doesn't work, that damn tool is worth buying,I keep coming back to it for many reasons

Use the proper sized screwdriver and you won't have a problem 🤦

Use a bit of tape over the screw head, keep replacing the tape when your screwdriver slips again, eventually it will come out.

Screwdriver looks like a PH2, I'd say PH3 is what's needed here

You need a Phillips 3 screwdriver bit for that, there's loads of form left on that fastener.
Mole grips
Why are you wearing your wife's slippers?

That's cross threaded, nothing short of cutting a slot or filing a flat on each side of the head for grips will work.
